‫الجالية االسالمية ترفض‬ ‫تصريحات وزير الهجرة‬ ‫االسترالي وتطالبه‬

‫ب��االس��ت��ق��ال��ة‬ ‫اثارت ت�صريحات وزير الهجرة‬ ‫اال��س�ت��رال��ي بيتر دات ��ون التي‬ ‫ادلى بها م�ؤخرا‪ ،‬جدال وا�سعا‬ ‫في او�ساط الجالية اال�سالمية التي �أجمعت‬ ‫قياداتها على انتقاد هذه الت�صريحات والتي‬ ‫هاجم فيها الجالية اللبنانية واعتبر ان‬ ‫رئي�س ال��وزراء الأ�سبق‪ ،‬مالكوم فريزر قد‬ ‫�أخط�أ بجلب اللبنانيين �إلى ا�ستراليا‪.‬‬ ‫ج��اء ذل��ك ف��ي كلمة �أل�ق��اه��ا دات ��ون خالل‬ ‫جل�سة في البرلمان اال�سترالي‪� ،‬ألقى اللوم‬ ‫فيها على حكومة «مالكوم»‪ ،‬ب�سبب ال�سماح‬ ‫لدخول لبنانيين �إلى ا�ستراليا في ال�سبعينات‬ ‫من القرن الما�ضي‪.‬‬ ‫و�أكد الوزير‪� ،‬أنه بح�سب الوثائق المتوفرة‬ ‫�شخ�صا اتهموا بجرائم متعلقة‬ ‫ف ��إن ‪33‬‬ ‫ً‬ ‫�شخ�صا من‬ ‫بالإرهاب في البالد‪ ،‬بينهم ‪22‬‬ ‫ً‬ ‫�أبناء الجيل الثاني والثالث لأ�شخا�ص من‬

‫ذوي �أ�صول لبنانية م�سلمة‪.‬‬ ‫وقد ا�صدرت الكثير من الهيئات اال�سالمية‬ ‫ب�ي��ان��ات ادان��ت فيها ت�صريحات ال��وزي��ر‬ ‫وطالبوه باال�ستقالة وتقديم االعتذار‪.‬‬ ‫واع�ت�ب��رت ق �ي��ادات الجالية ان ك�لام��ه هو‬ ‫عن�صري وي�ؤثر �سلبا على الن�سيج الوطني‬ ‫كما و�صفوا ت�صريحاته ب��ا «المزعجة»‪،‬‬ ‫و«الجاهلة»‪.‬‬ ‫من جانبه طالب «بل �شورتن» رئي�س حزب‬ ‫العمال اال�سترالي المعار�ض‪ ،‬وزير الهجرة‬ ‫ب��االع �ت��ذار ع��ن ت�صريحاته ال �ت��ي هاجم‬ ‫فيها المهاجرين ف��ي ا�ستراليا‪ ،‬وو�صف‬ ‫الت�صريحات ب�أنها «تبعث على الخجل»‪.‬‬ ‫كما طالب �شورتن رئي�س ال��وزراء‪ ،‬مالكولم‬ ‫ت��رن�ب��ول‪ ،‬ب��إق��ال��ة وزي ��ره “داتون” ب�سبب‬ ‫ت�صريحاته الأخيرة‪.‬‬

‫مفتي استراليا يعلن‪:‬‬

‫تصريحات الوزير دايتون‬ ‫تطور جديد في ممارسة العنصرية‬ ‫ت�صريحات وزير الهجرة بيتر‬ ‫داي �ت��ون الأخ �ي��رة والخا�صة‬ ‫بالمهاجرين اللبنانيين في‬ ‫ال�سبعينات وبخا�صة الم�سلمين وب�شكل‬ ‫�أخ�ص �أهل ال�سنة ت�صريحات محملة بكثير‬ ‫العن�صرية التي يمكن �أن تترتب عليها كثير‬ ‫من المخاطر‪ ،‬وبتحليل هذه الت�صريحات‬ ‫نجد �أنها احتوت ثالثة خطايا‪.‬‬ ‫ال�خ�ط�ي�ئ��ة الأول� � ��ى ه ��ي ذك��ر الخلفية‬ ‫للمهاجرين وتخ�صي�صها ب” اللبنانيين”‬ ‫وفي هذا نوع من التمييز العن�صري‪.‬‬ ‫والخطيئة الثانية هي ذكر الدين وهذا نوع‬ ‫من التمييز الديني‪.‬‬ ‫والخطيئة الثالثة ه��ي تحديد المذهب‬ ‫بكلمة “�سني” وهذا تمييز طائفي‪ .‬وهنا‬ ‫نود �أن نقول ‪:‬‬ ‫�أوال‪ :‬تحميل المهاجرين الأوائ ��ل لبع�ض‬ ‫�أخطاء �أحفادهم من الجيل الثالث �أو الرابع‬ ‫لي�س من العدل وال من الإن�صاف‪ ،‬لأنه �إذا‬ ‫كانت قلة قليلة من الأحفاد قد �أخط�أت ف�إن‬ ‫الكثير منهم قد تفوق و�أجاد وقدم للوطن‬ ‫الكثير من الخدمات و�ساهم في البناء‬ ‫وفي �إنعا�ش الحياة وثرائها في ا�ستراليا‬ ‫وكان منهم الأطباء النوابغ والمهند�سون‬ ‫المتفوقون والمحامون البارعون ورج��ال‬ ‫الأع �م��ال الناجحون‪ ,‬وللبنانيين ح�ضور‬ ‫مميز ف��ي �شتى ال�م�ه��ن والتخ�ص�صات‬ ‫فلماذا ال تتم النظرة والتركيز �إال على‬ ‫الجانب ال�سلبي فقط؟‬ ‫ثانيا‪ :‬ا�ستراليا تعاني من جرائم مختلفة‬ ‫بع�ضها في المخدرات وبع�ضها في العنف‬ ‫العائلي‪ ،‬وجرائم العنف العائلي بالذات‬ ‫ت �ج��اوزت ع�شرات االالف فهل يمكن �أن‬ ‫نرجع �أ�سباب هذا العنف لجن�س �أودين �أو‬

‫هذه هي امريكا من قبل ومن بعد!‬

‫لم تكن �سيا�سة �أمريكا الخارجية ما قبل ترامب‬ ‫اف�ضل حاال‪،‬بل كانت مبنية على ثقافة الهيمنة‬ ‫وال�سيطرة ومحاربة ال�شعوب‪،‬وقد جرت الويالت‬ ‫والكوارث على دول منطقة ال�شرق االو�سط‬ ‫وعلى �شعوبها‪ ،‬ناهيك عن تحيزها المطلق للكيان‬ ‫ال�صهيوني‪.‬‬ ‫يكفي ان نذكر واحدة من م�ساوئ ال�سيا�سة‬ ‫الأمريكية ما قبل ترامب وهي تورطتها في انقالب‬ ‫ع�سكري دموي �ضد حكومة منتخبة في اقوى دولة‬ ‫�إ�سالمية في ال�شرق االو�سط وهي تركيا‪.‬‬

‫مذهب �أج��داد الجناة الذين مار�سوا هذا‬ ‫العنف ‪ ...‬؟‬ ‫ثالثا‪ :‬ال�سيد الوزير قال في حديثه‪� :‬أنا ال‬ ‫�أريد �أن �أ�سيئ �إلى الجالية اللبنانية‪ ،‬ونحن‬ ‫ن�شكره على هذه النية‪ ،‬ولكنه �أ�ساء فعال‪،‬‬ ‫ا�ساء لها جن�سا‪ ،‬وا�ساء لها دينا‪ ،‬و�أ�ساء‬ ‫لها م��ذه�ب��ا‪ ،‬ون�ح��ن نعتقد �أن ا�ستراليا‬ ‫بتعدديتها الثقافية والدينية تحتاج من‬ ‫ال�سيد دايتون خطابا معتدال لي�ساهم به‬ ‫في بناء الج�سور ولي�س عزل جالية بذاتها‬ ‫واتهامها‪ ،‬والمهاجرون اللبنانيون الذين‬ ‫تحدث عنهم من جيل الآباء كانوا يحتاجون‬ ‫منه �إل��ى كلمة �إ�شادة وتقدير لما قدموه‬ ‫لأ�ستراليا من �أعمال م�شرفة ومحترمة ولما‬ ‫قاموا به من جهد في تربية �أوالدهم حتى‬ ‫حققوا تلك النجاحات الباهرة‪.‬‬ ‫رابعا‪� :‬إذا كانت القلة القليلة التي ذكرها‬ ‫الوزير دايتون وكانت �سببا في ت�صريحاته‬ ‫ق��د خ��رج��ت ع��ن ج��ادة ال�ط��ري��ق فليتذكر‬ ‫ال�سيد دايتون �أن ه�ؤالء ولدوا هنا‪ ،‬وتربوا‬ ‫في ا�ستراليا‪ ،‬وليتذكر �أي�ضا �أن الجالية‬ ‫كلها لي�ست را�ضية بهذا االنحراف‪ ،‬و�أنها‬ ‫راف�ضة لأي ت�صرف يعك�س �أو ي�ضر ب�أمن‬ ‫وا�ستقرار الوطن‪ ،‬و�أن قيادتها عبرت عن‬ ‫ذل��ك في و�ضوح و�صراحة وبذلت وتبذل‬ ‫ق�صارى جهدها لت�صحيح �أف�ك��ار ه ��ؤالء‬ ‫بالتعاون مع كل الجهات الم�س�ؤولة‪ ،‬فلماذا‬ ‫نحمل الجالية بجن�سيتها ودينها وحتى‬ ‫مذهبها م�س�ؤولية نزق بع�ض المراهقين؟‬ ‫خام�سا‪ :‬ه��ل راج��ع ال�سيد داي�ت��ون �سجل‬ ‫ال �ج��رائ��م ال�م�خ�ت�ل�ف��ة وع� ��رف جن�سيات‬ ‫�أج ��داده ��م و�أرج� ��ع �أ� �س �ب��اب ال �ن��زوع �إل��ى‬ ‫الجريمة لدين ومذهب �أج��داده��م الذين‬ ‫ه��اج��روا �إل��ى هنا م��ن قبل‪ ،‬كما فعل مع‬

‫اللبنانيين الم�سلمين ال�سنة؟ �أم �أن هذا‬ ‫الت�صنيف العن�صري خا�ص بالم�سلمين‬ ‫وحدهم؟‬ ‫�أح�سب �أن �أعظم الدرو�س الم�ستفادة التي‬ ‫يجب �أن يتعلمها ال�سيد داي �ت��ون ه��ي �أن‬ ‫يتذكر ثالثة �أمور مهمة‪:‬‬ ‫الأم��ر الأول‪� :‬أن الجميع هنا مهاجرون‪،‬‬ ‫و�أنهم جميعا بما فيهم �أجداد ال�سيد دايتون‬ ‫و�أ� �س��رت��ه �ضيوف على �أ��ص�ح��اب الأر� ��ض‬ ‫الحقيقيين “الأبروجينيز”‪.‬‬ ‫الأمر الثاني‪� :‬أن ال�سيد دايتون �أ�ضاف تطورا‬ ‫جديدا في ممار�سة العن�صرية ي�ستحق �أن‬ ‫ي�أخذ عليه براعة اختراع وهو‪� :‬أن نحاكم‬ ‫الأجداد ب�أخطاء قلة من �أحفادهم‪ ،‬بينما‬ ‫نتغافل ع��ن الأح �ف��اد الناجحين ال��ذي��ن‬ ‫�أج ��ادوا و�أح��س�ن��وا‪ .‬وك��ان يجب عليه �أن‬ ‫يتحلى بميزة الإن�صاف والعدل‪،‬و�أن يمتلك‬ ‫القدرة وال�شجاعة ليتذكر ف�ضائل الآخرين‬ ‫الذين �ساهموا في بناء �أ�ستراليا وخدموا‬ ‫هذا البلد تماما كما خدمها �أجداده وكان‬ ‫وجودهم �إ�ضافة ثقافية وعلمية وعملية‪.‬‬ ‫الأم��ر الثالث‪� :‬أننا نحترم الناخبين في‬ ‫دائرتك الذين منحوك �أ�صواتهم لتكون‬ ‫ن��ائ�ب��ا ف��ي ال �ب��رل �م��ان‪ ،‬ك�م��ا ن�ح�ت��رم ق��رار‬ ‫قيادة الحزب الذي �أختارك لتكون وزيرا‪،‬‬ ‫وواجبنا كمواطنين ا�ستراليين نحب هذا‬ ‫البلد ون�ح��ر��ص على �أم �ن��ه و�سالمته �أن‬ ‫ن�ت�ع��اون معك لتنجح ف��ي مهمتك كوزير‬ ‫للهجرة‪ ،‬ونن�صحك لكي تنجح �أن تتذكر‬ ‫�أهم الدرو�س الذي يجب �أن تتعلمها‪ ،‬وفي‬ ‫مقدمتها �أن تتعلم كيف تتحرر من التع�صب‬ ‫والعن�صرية والكراهية‪.‬‬

‫تحييد ام تأجيل؟‬

‫كيف يمكن لمي�شال عون �أن يطبق‬ ‫التزامه بتحييد لبنان عن ال�صراعات‬ ‫الإقليمية طالما ان ميلي�شيا حزب‬ ‫اهلل تعمل �ضمن م�شروع �إقليمي قراره‬ ‫في طهران ولي�س في بعبدا‪.‬‬ ‫كل ما يمكن ان يفعله عون هو تحييد‬ ‫الملفات الخالفية عن التداول‬ ‫واهمها ملف �سالح حزب اهلل وملف‬ ‫م�شاركة الحزب في الحرب �ضد‬ ‫ال�شعب ال�سوري‪.‬‬

‫مصر المحروسة‬ ‫بين حجر رشيد‪ ..‬وسائق التوك توك (‪)2/2‬‬ ‫بقلم د‪ .‬إبراهيم أبو محمد‬ ‫مفتي عام استراليا‬ ‫ف ��ي ال �م �ج �ت �م �ع��ات ال �ح �ي��ة تظل‬ ‫ال ��ذاك ��رة الإن �� س��ان �ي��ة محتفظة‬ ‫بعافيتها وف��ي م�أمن من الخرف‬ ‫ال�سيا�سي‪ ،‬وتحفظ تلك الذاكرة الحية تاريخ‬ ‫النه�ضة والتقدم‪ ,‬ومتى بد�أ الإق�لاع الح�ضاري‬ ‫لتبقي ج��ذوة الن�شاط متقدة ومتوهجة ودافعة‬ ‫للمجتمع نحو المزيد من التقدم ورافعة للنه�ضة‬ ‫و�أالقة في عالم الأمم‬ ‫بينما ف��ي المجتمعات الآي�ل��ة لل�سقوط يتحول‬ ‫ال�س�ؤال من بداية تاريخ النهو�ض ليكون �س�ؤاال‬ ‫عن كيفية ال�سقوط واالنهيار وما هي الأ�سباب‪.‬‬ ‫وبين ال�س�ؤالين من البعد في الم�سافة والعمق‬ ‫ف��ي االع�ت�ب��ار كما بين اكت�شاف حجر ر�شيد‬ ‫في فك رم��وز الكتابة الهيروغليفية وبين غرق‬ ‫مركب ر�شيد ب�ضحاياه الذين تجاوزوا ال “‪204‬‬ ‫�شاب من �أبناء الطبقة الكادحة في المجتمع‬ ‫الم�صري‪.‬‬ ‫• وك�لا ال��س��ؤال�ي��ن � �ض��روري لمعرفة �أ��س��اب‬ ‫االن�ت��ص��ارات واالن �ك �� س��ارات‪ ،‬وم�ع��رف��ة عوامل‬ ‫الإق�لاع بالأمم وعوامل �سقوطها وانهياراتها ‪,‬‬ ‫ذل��ك لأن معرفة البدايات وم��راح��ل تطوراتها‬ ‫وم��واق��ع الخطر فيها تمنح ال��دار��س�ي��ن خبرة‬ ‫ت�ساعد على عبور المخاطر وتحقيق النجاح في‬ ‫النهايات‪.‬‬ ‫• يفتر�ض في كل �أنظمة الحكم �أنها تح�سب‬ ‫ح�سابها لنقد ال�م�ع��ار��ض��ة‪ ,‬وي��دف �ه��ا هاج�س‬ ‫ال�خ��وف م��ن �أي نقد مو�ضوعي �أن تعد العدة‬ ‫للإجابة وال��رد عليه ب�أ�سلوب منطقي يحترم‬ ‫عقل المواطن ويحافظ على مكانة ذلك الحزب‬ ‫ل��دى اتباعه وخ�صومه معا ‪ ،‬غير ان الأنظمة‬ ‫الفا�شلة تعتمد �أ��س�ل��وب��ا �آخ ��ر اذ تعد وترتب‬ ‫كتائب �إعالمية و�ألكترونية للرد على المنتقدين‬ ‫واتهامهم بالخيانة والت�آمر ومحاولة �إ�سكاتهم‬ ‫بالترويع والعنف اللفظي‪ ,‬وتحري�ض النظام‬ ‫وب�شكل فج ومف�ضوح على اعتقالهم و�أحيانا على‬ ‫التخل�ص منهم ‪ ,‬الأمر الذى يعك�س ه�شا�شة بنية‬ ‫النظام وافتقاده للر�ؤية و�ضيق �صدورهم بكل‬ ‫مخالفة ولو كانت من �أجل الوطن‪ ,‬وكان الأولى‬ ‫من ترتيب وتنظيم تلك الكتائب �أن تنظم ردود‬ ‫ومواقف عملية على تلك االنتقادات‪.‬‬ ‫• ثقافة الحرية والديموقراطية برحابة �صدرها‬ ‫ت�ؤكد �أن الخالف مع النظام �أو الحزب الحاكم‬ ‫في كل دول العالم ال يعني خالفا مع الدولة‪,‬‬ ‫و�أن نقد الحاكم ال يعني هدم م�ؤ�س�سات الوطن‪,‬‬ ‫و�أن االعترا�ض على بع�ض ت�صرفات الع�سكر‬

‫ال يعني كراهية الجي�ش �أو التقليل من �ش�أنه �أو‬ ‫االنتقا�ص من دوره ‪ ,‬فتلك طفولة �سيا�سية وخلط‬ ‫ل�ل�أوراق بغير �إدراك �أو وعي في �أح�سن حالت‬ ‫ح�سن الظن بمن يعتقد ذل��ك ‪ ,‬و�أنظمة القهر‬ ‫واال�ستعباد والدكتاتوريات هي وحدها من تذيب‬ ‫الدولة بم�ؤ�س�ساتها في ع�شقها لذاتها وجنون‬ ‫العظمة لديها و�أطماعها‪.‬‬ ‫• الدكتاتوريات وح��ده��ا ه��ي م��ن تعمل على‬ ‫�إذاب��ة الوطن كله في �سلطانها المطلق بحيث‬ ‫ت�صبح هي الدولة والدولة هي ‪ ,‬وهي الوطن ‪,‬‬ ‫وهي الحا�ضر‪ ,‬وهي الم�ستقبل‪.‬‬ ‫• وه��ذه ال��دك�ت��ات��وري��ات ال م�ك��ان لها اليوم‬ ‫في ظل عولمة المعلومات وث��ورة التكنولوجيا‬ ‫وتحويل العالم �إلى قرية �صغيرة وانتهاء احتكار‬ ‫المعلومة‪ ,‬واحتقار ال�شعوب‪.‬‬ ‫• على �ضوء حديث العامل الف�صيح �سائق‬ ‫ال�ت��وك�ت��وك وال ��ذي ر�آه ال�ع��ال��م كله ع��ن م�صر‬ ‫المحرو�سة وكيف كان حالها ثم كيف �أ�صبحت‬ ‫‪ ,‬علينا تحديد الأزمة و�صفا وحقيقة لظواهرها‬ ‫و�أ�سبابها في حياتنا المعا�صرة‪ ،‬وهل فعال لدينا‬ ‫�أزمة؟ كما لخ�صها ذلك ال�سائق؟ �أم �أن كل �شئ‬ ‫على ما يرام كما ي�صور �إعالم الغواية والهواية‬ ‫والعته ؟‬ ‫• كتبة الأنظمة و�سدنة �إعالم الغواية والهواية‬ ‫وم �ع �ه��م ك �ت��ائ��ب ال �ه �ج��وم وال �ت �ب��ري��ر وال��دف��اع‬ ‫ع��ن ال �ن �ظ��ام االل�ك�ت��رون�ي��ة ي�ف�ت�ق��دون المهنية‬ ‫والم�صداقية‪ ,‬ويجتهدون في ت�صوير الواقع ب�أنه‬ ‫وردى‪ ،‬و�أن الحياة بمبية اللون ‪ ,‬ويحاولون عزل‬ ‫النا�س عن الدنيا وم�سح عقولهم فيوهمونهم ب�أن‬ ‫ما تحقق من �إنجازات في عامين لم يكن ليتحقق‬ ‫في ع�شرين عاما ! ‪ ,‬ومن ثم فالنا�س يعي�شون كما‬ ‫يقال “ في التبات والنبات وينجبون �صبيانا‬ ‫وبنات‪ ،‬وبينما الواقع ي�صرخ بعك�س ما يقولون‬ ‫�إال �أنهم يريدون فر�ض الغيبوبة ال�سيا�سية علي‬

‫ك��ل ال�ن��ا��س‪ ,‬وال��وي��ل لمن خ��ال��ف وك��ان ل��ه ر�أي‬ ‫�آخر‪ ,‬فورا تبد�أ الأ�سطوانة الم�شروخة في العمل‬ ‫بجملة “كفي اهلل م�صر �شر الخونة والمت�آمرين‬ ‫عليها” وت�سلط علي من يخالفهم �أل�سنة حداد‬ ‫تعودت على ال�شتم وال�سب و�أ�ضحي ذلك الخلق‬ ‫ديدنها ‪ ,‬ف�إما �أن تغم�ض عينيك وتطفئ �سراج‬ ‫عقلك وتدخل في القطيع تابعا‪� ,‬أو ت�صنف من‬ ‫الجماعة �إياها‪ ,‬ومن ثم تحرم من و�صف الوطنية‬ ‫في نظرهم‪ ,‬وربما يطالبون �أي�ضا بنزع المواطنة‬ ‫منك باعتبارك خائنا مت�آمرا على الوطن ‪ ,‬وك�أن‬ ‫البلد �أ�ضحت ملكا خال�صا لهم وحدهم ‪ ,‬وكلما‬ ‫بد�أت بوادر ظهور غ�ضب �شعبي طالبوا ال�شعب‬ ‫ب�أن يتحمل ويذكروه بحجم الم�ؤامرة الأمريكية‬ ‫والإ�سرائيلية والغربية عموما‪ ,‬وال مانع من‬ ‫�إ�ضافة قطر وتركيا وحروب الجيل الرابع ع�شر‬ ‫�إل��ي ال��دول المت�أمرة على م�صر حتى يكتمل‬ ‫الن�صاب‪ ,‬ولتكون الخلطة بنكهة “�سمك لبن تمر‬ ‫هندي”‬ ‫• وهكذا ي�سوقون الدجل والخبل ‪ ,‬ويكر�سون‬ ‫فكرة الخوف من م�صير �سوريا وليبيا واليمن ‪,‬‬ ‫وك�أن المطالبة بالإ�صالح وتغيير الحال بتحقيق‬ ‫دي �م��وق��راط �ي��ة حقيقية م��ص�ح��وب��ة ب��ال�ح��ري��ة‬ ‫وال �ع��دال��ة وال �م �� س��اواة ال تعني غير الفو�ضى‬ ‫والخراب و�سقوط الدولة و�ضياع الوطن ‪.‬‬ ‫• كتبة الأنظمة و�سدنة �إعالم الغواية والهواية‬ ‫ال ي �خ��دم��ون ال �ن �ظ��ام ب �ه��ذا ال �ه��راء ال�سخيف‬ ‫بقدر م��ا يحدثون م��ن �إث ��ارة لم�شاعر الغ�ضب‬ ‫وا�ستفزاز لإرادة �شعب �صبور ‪,‬وهم بهذا الحمق‬ ‫الغبي يحولون م�شاعر اال�ستفزاز من غ�ضب‬ ‫لفئات مظلومة تعاني �أزمات في حياتها اليومية‬ ‫�إلي غ�ضب عام ومن ثم فهم يعملون على تم�صير‬ ‫الغ�ضب �أي تحويله �إل��ي غ�ضب م�صري ع��ام ‪,‬‬ ‫وتلك حماقة ال يعلم مدى خطورتها �إال اهلل‪.‬‬ ‫• ك�م��ا �أن خطيئة �إع�ل�ام الهلو�سة والعته‬ ‫ال�سيا�سي �أن�ه��م تجاهلوا �أو يجهلون فعال �أن‬ ‫من �أهم العوامل الحا�ضنة لنجاح �أي نظام هو‬ ‫تما�سك اللحمة الح�ضارية والن�سيج االجتماعي‬ ‫ال �م��وح��د‪ ,‬وغ �ي��اب ه��ذا ال�ع��ام��ل ي�شكل �شرخا‬ ‫وت�صدعا بالطول والعر�ض‪ ,‬ومثل هذا الت�صدع‬ ‫وبتلك الكيفية ي�ستع�صى على الترميم‪ ,‬وهذا ما‬ ‫�أحدثته كتيبة الغباء الإعالمي �أو �إعالم الهلو�سة‬ ‫ال�سيا�سية” ‪ -‬من تجريح للخ�صوم وح�ض علي‬ ‫الكراهية وتر�سيخ االنق�سام المجتمعي‪ ,‬الأمر‬ ‫ال��ذى يعجل بظهور الآث��ار العك�سية ف��ي مثل‬ ‫تلك الأزم��ات الحادة‪ ،‬ويجعلها ترتد بقوة‪ ,‬و�أن‬ ‫ي�صحب هذا االرت��داد روح االنتقام والث�أر على‬ ‫ممن فعلوا ذلك ‪ ,‬و�سطحوا عقول النا�س وجرفوا‬ ‫قيمهم و�أهانوا ذكاءهم وفطرتهم‪.‬‬

‫• والخوف كله �أن يتحول الإحباط المنت�شر‬ ‫ب�سرعة �إل��ى العقل الجمعي ال��ذي ي�سود ويقود‬ ‫ف��ي الأزم � ��ات ف�لا ي �ت��رك ف��ر��ص��ة لعقل ال�ف��رد‬ ‫�أن يفكر قبل الإق ��دام على الخطر‪ ،‬وه��ذا ما‬ ‫يخ�شاه المهتمون بم�صر وطنا ودولة وم�ؤ�س�سات‪،‬‬ ‫والخ�شية تحديدا من حدوث حالة هياج ع�شوائية‬ ‫ت�أكل الأخ�ضر والياب�س وال تبقي وال تذر‪ ،‬لأنها قد‬ ‫ال تملك كل �أدوات الوعي الذي يميز بين ما هو‬ ‫من ممتلكات ال�شعب‪ ،‬مما تجب حمايته‪ ،‬وما هو‬ ‫ملك ال�سادة �أعوان النظام ‪ ,‬حيث ذابت الفروق‬ ‫بين الأم��ري��ن و�أ�صبح كل �شيء ملكا م�ستباحا‬ ‫لل�سادة �أعوان النظام‪.‬‬ ‫• حديث �سائق التوكتوك �أظهر الفرق بين‬ ‫ك�ل�ام يعبر ع��ن �سعي ف��ي ال �ت �ق��دم والإع��م��ار‬ ‫م��ص�ح��وب ب��وع��ي وط�ن��ي ق��ادرع �ل��ى ا�ستيعاب‬ ‫ال�سنن االجتماعية والقوانين الحاكمة لحركة‬ ‫النا�س والمجتمعات‪ ,‬وبين �سلوك داب��ة تفتقد‬ ‫�أول �ي��ات التعقل وت�ح��اول �أن ت��رد ع��ن �صاحبها‬ ‫ذبابة فتقتله‪ ,‬وهكذا يت�ضح حجم الفجوة بين‬ ‫كتبة النظام و�سدنة �إعالمه وبين ر�ؤي��ة �سائق‬ ‫التوكتوك ‪ ,‬وه��ي م�سافة ف��ي البعد والنه�ضة‬ ‫والتقدم كما بين مقدي�شيو وبين فيينا‪ ,‬فهل‬ ‫يمكن �أن تكون هناك مقارنة ؟‬ ‫• م�سافة البعد ف��ي ال��وع��ي بين م��ا لخ�صه‬ ‫�سائق التوكتوك وبين �إع�لام النظام كم�سافة‬ ‫البعد ف��ي ال��زم��ن بين اكت�شاف حجر ر�شيد‬ ‫وبين مركب متهالكة تمثل نموذجا لمنظومة‬ ‫ف�ساد فقدت �صالحية البقاء وتجاوزها الزمان‬ ‫والمكان والب�شر فغرقت في عمق البحر‪.‬‬ ‫• م�سافة البعد في ت�صوير الحقائق واحترام‬ ‫ال��ذات بين �سائق التوكتوك و�إع�ل�ام الهلو�سة‬ ‫كم�سافة البعد بين الحقيقة وال�خ��داع ‪ ,‬وبين‬ ‫الواقع والأحالم المزيفة‪.‬‬ ‫• ظهر من خالل حديث توكتوك �صادق مدته‬ ‫‪ 3‬دق��ائ��ق �أن ال��ره��ان على �إع�ل�ام الهلو�سة لم‬ ‫يكن ره��ان��ا حتى على ح�صان خا�سر �أع��رج ‪،‬‬ ‫و�إنما كان رهانا على حمار �أعمى فقد الإدراك‬ ‫وال�شعور معا ‪،‬وبجرعة توكتك �صادقة يمكن‬ ‫لل�شعب المغيب �أن يتناولها في ‪ 3‬دقائق في�ستعيد‬ ‫وعيه‪ ,‬ويعرف �أن عالج الإيدز بالكفتة ال يقول‬ ‫ب��ه ع��ال��م ‪ ،‬وح�م��اي��ة م�صر ب��ال��ري��اح ال�شمالية‬ ‫الغربية ‪ ،‬ال يقول بها دار�س لأب�سط قواعد العلوم‬ ‫الع�سكرية وال يت�صور �صدور مثل ه��ذا الهراء‬ ‫�إال من �شخ�ص ب�سيط يطمع �أن ت�ؤخذ له �صورة‬ ‫بجوار مدفع الإف�ط��ار الرم�ضاني و�أن انهيار‬ ‫�سد النه�ضة من تلقاء نف�سه ال يقول به خبير‬ ‫ا�ستراتيجي ‪ ,‬و�إنما هو منطق �أحد المجانين في‬ ‫فيلم “مولد يا دنيا” و�أن مطاردة ال�ضفادع‬

‫الب�شرية الم�صرية لحاملة الطائرات الأمريكية‪،‬‬ ‫و�أ�سر قائد الأ�سطول ال�ساد�س لم يكن �إال �أ�ضغاث‬ ‫�أوهام لإعالمي معتوه نام وعورته مك�شوفة بغير‬ ‫غطاء‪ ،‬فكانت الف�ضائح والروائح الكريهة ‪ ,‬ولم‬ ‫تكن تلك الأوهام في مجملها غير بعرة خرجت‬ ‫م��ن غير مخرجها ف��أح��دث��ت �أ��ص��وات��ا مخجلة‬ ‫وروائح كريهة تزكم الأنوف ‪ ,‬ومن ثم كان يجب‬ ‫�أن يقدم ه�ؤالء لمحاكمات عاجلة لأنهم ت�سببوا‬ ‫في ف�ضيحة وعار وطني �أ�ضر بم�صر المحرو�سة‬ ‫وجعل �سمعة وطن محترم “ب�شرا وجي�شا وثقافة‬ ‫وح�ضارة وتاريخا‪ ”،‬لتكون �أ�ضحوكة وم�صدرا‬ ‫للتندر والنكات الجارحة والغمز البذيء‬ ‫• اكت�شاف حجر ر�شيد ك��ان بمثابة العين‬ ‫المب�صرة ر�أى من خاللها العقل الم�صري كيف‬ ‫كانت ثقافة الأج��داد ومعارفهم وح�ضارتهم ‪,‬‬ ‫ثم فتح دخ��ول الطباعة �إل��ى م�صر مع الحملة‬ ‫الفرن�سية نافذة �أخرى توثق الفكرة وتدفع �إلى‬ ‫الم�ستقبل ‪ ,‬وكانت الفترة التاريخية للحملة‬ ‫الفرن�سية تمثل الج�سر الزمني الذي يجمع بين‬ ‫معرفة الما�ضي التليد بتاريخه وثقافته وبين‬ ‫الم�ستقبل ال��ذى ترنو �إليه نفو�س الم�صريين‬ ‫وتتطلع �إليه �أجيالهم‪.‬‬ ‫• ولقد ا�ستدعيت كل تلك المعاني ب�أبعادها‬ ‫الح�ضارية ف��ي ‪ 25‬يناير التي اندمجت فيها‬ ‫ك��ل ت �ي��ارات المجتمع وبكل �أطيافها ف�أبهرت‬ ‫العالم ب�ث��ورة �أفقية �شدت انتباه الدنيا كلها‬ ‫ب�سلوك ث��وري اعتمد الطهر وال�شرف والنقاء‬ ‫وال�سلمية و�سائل للتغيير‪ ,‬لكن الدهاء والخبث‬ ‫والمكر ال�سيا�سي �شخ�صنها وح�شرها ح�شرا‬ ‫في جماعة لت�صبح ثورة ر�أ�سية بهيكلية وقيادة‬ ‫ورموز وكوادر‪ ،‬ثم بد�أ الت�صويب �إليها و�سدد لها‬ ‫�ضربات موجعة وم�ؤلمة‪ ،‬لكنها لم تكن قا�ضية �أو‬ ‫قاتلة‪ ،‬وكما يقولون” ال�ضربات التى ال تقتل تقوى‬ ‫�أ�صحابها وتمنحهم خبرة �إ�ضافية ودرو�سا نافعة‬ ‫في التعامل مع كل جديد يطر�أ في ال�ساحات‬ ‫والميادين‪.‬‬ ‫• وك��ارث��ة مركب ر�شيد ه��ي مجرد ن��وع من‬ ‫الغرق في حالتي الب�ؤ�س والي�أ�س يعي�شها غالبية‬ ‫ال�شعب الم�صري ال��ذي يعاني �آالم المخا�ض‬ ‫‪ ,‬ويقاوم على ال�شاطئ وقبل الطوفان �أم��واج‬ ‫ال�سقوط والتردي ‪ ،‬بينما قدماه قد غا�صت في‬ ‫الماء و�إن ك��ان يظن �أن��ه ال ي��زال على �ضفاف‬ ‫الياب�سة‪.‬‬ ‫• غرقت مركب ر�شيد لأن ركابها ارت�ضوا‬ ‫الخداع لأنف�سهم حين �سلموا قيادهم لقائد ال‬ ‫خبرة لديه في قيادة المراكب وقت العوا�صف‬ ‫‪ ,‬وال م�شروعية له في تولى القيادة �أ�صال ‪ ,‬ومن‬ ‫ثم فَقيادته َفق ََدت �شراعها‪ ,‬ثم �ضاعت مرا�سيه‪.‬‬

‫احتجاج فلسطيني على قانوني االستيطان ومنع األذان‬ ‫توالت االحتجاجات الفل�سطينية على م�شروعي‬ ‫قانونين وافقت عليهما الحكومة الإ�سرائيلية‪،‬‬ ‫�أحدهما ي�ش ّرع الب�ؤر اال�ستيطانية الع�شوائية‪،‬‬ ‫في وقت يمنع الآخر رفع الأذان بمكبرات ال�صوت في القد�س‬ ‫وداخ��ل مناطق الخط الأخ�ضر وف��ي المناطق القريبة من‬ ‫الم�ستوطنات‪.‬‬ ‫وح��ذر الناطق با�سم الرئا�سة الفل�سطينية نبيل �أب��و ردينة‬ ‫من �أن الإج��راءات الإ�سرائيلية الأخيرة المتمثلة في ت�شريع‬ ‫الب�ؤر اال�ستيطانية ومنع الأذان عبر مكبرات ال�صوت‪� ،‬ستج ّر‬ ‫المنطقة �إلى كوارث‪ ،‬معتبر ًا �أنها ممار�سات مرفو�ضة بالكامل‪.‬‬ ‫و�أكد �أبو ردينة في بيان �أن القيادة الفل�سطينية �ستتوجه �إلى‬ ‫مجل�س الأمن الدولي و�إلى كل الم�ؤ�س�سات الدولية لوقف هذه‬ ‫الإجراءات الت�صعيدية‪.‬‬ ‫من جهتها �أ�صدرت �إدارة �أوق��اف القد�س و�ش�ؤون الم�سجد‬ ‫الأق�صى التابعة ل�ل�أردن بيان ًا قالت فيه �إن ق��رار منع رفع‬ ‫الأذان �أو خف�ض ال�صوت فيه يعتبر «ح��رب� ًا على الإ�سالم‬ ‫والم�سلمين»‪ ،‬وو�صفته ب�أنه «عن�صري وي�شكل انتهاك ًا خطير ًا‬ ‫لحرية العبادة»‪.‬‬ ‫�أما وزارة الأوقاف وال�ش�ؤون الدينية في ال�سلطة الفل�سطينية‬ ‫فقد اعتبرت �أن الم�صادقة على م�شروع القانون بمثابة‬ ‫«عن�صرية تجاوزت الأبعاد ال�سيا�سية لت�صل �إلى �أبعاد دينية‬

‫تنذر المنطقة بحرب دينية»‪ ،‬م��ؤك��دة �أن ه��ذه الإج ��راءات‬ ‫«تن�ضح تطرف ًا وعن�صرية»‪.‬‬ ‫وحذّرت حركة المقاومة الإ�سالمية (حما�س) من تداعيات‬ ‫م�صادقة ال�سلطات الإ�سرائيلية على م�شروعي القانونين‪،‬‬ ‫وو�صفت القرار ب�أنه «خطير» و�أن��ه ا�ستفزاز �سافر لم�شاعر‬

‫الم�سلمين ف��ي ك��ل م�ك��ان وت��دخ��ل م��رف��و��ض ف��ي ال�ع�ب��ادات‬ ‫وال�شعائر الدينية‪.‬‬ ‫موقف القائمة الم�شتركة‬ ‫من جهتها قالت النائبة العربية بالكني�ست الإ�سرائيلي «حنين‬ ‫الزعبي»‪� ،‬إن من يزعجه �صوت الأذان في القد�س‪ ،‬عليه‬

‫الرحيل فور ًا �إلى �أوروبا‪.‬‬ ‫و�أك� ��دت «ال��زع �ب��ي» ع�ب��ر ت��دوي�ن��ة ل�ه��ا ع�ل��ى م��وق��ع التوا�صل‬ ‫االجتماعي «في�س بوك»‪� ،‬أن الذين يتذمرون من �صوت الأذان‬ ‫هم من اختاروا ال�سكن بجانب الم�ساجد‪ ،‬و�إذا كانت معاناتهم‬ ‫كبيرة فهم مدع ّوون للرحيل واالبتعاد عنه‪ ،‬م�شيرة �إل��ى �أن‬ ‫قانون الم�ؤذن الذي اقترحه ع�ضو الكني�ست موطي يوجيف‬ ‫يهدف الى تغيير الواقع‪ ،‬ولي�س من حقه فر�ض تغيير ق�سري‬ ‫في النظام وطبيعة المكان‪.‬‬ ‫�أم��ا النائب �أحمد الطيبي‪ ،‬فقد رفع �أذان المغرب من على‬ ‫من�صة الكني�ست؛ احتجاج ًا على قانون منع الآذان‪.‬‬ ‫وق��ر�أ الطيبي �آي��ة من القر�آن الكريم و�آي��ة من �أنجيل لوقا‪،‬‬ ‫قائ ًال‪� :‬إن «نتن ياهو هو المحر�ض الأول‪ ،‬وه��و يقود حملة‬ ‫ا�سالموفوبيا �ضد الم�سلمين‪ ،‬و�إن الأذان هو جزء ال يتجز�أ من‬ ‫م�شهد هذا الوطن»‪.‬‬ ‫و�أ�ضاف الطيبي‪« :‬نحن �أي�ض ًا نعاني من �ضجيج النفخ بالبوق‬ ‫يومي الجمعة وال�سبت‪ ،‬ونعاني من منع ال�سفر في �أعيادكم‪،‬‬ ‫خا�صة عيد الغفران‪ ،‬لكننا ال نعتر�ض‪ ،‬وال نم�س ب�شعائركم»‪.‬‬ ‫وختم ع�ضو برلمان االحتالل الإ�سرائيلي قائ ًال‪« :‬لقد �أقمتم‬ ‫قبل �سنوات وحدة كالب تتهجم على كل من يقول اهلل اكبر‪،‬‬ ‫وقلت لكم �آنذاك‪ :‬اهلل �أكبر عليكم‪ ،‬و�أعود و�أقولها لكم‪ :‬اهلل‬ ‫�أكبر اهلل �أكبر عليكم‪ ،‬هل من كالب بينكم تنق�ض علينا؟»‪.‬‬

‫ي� �ج ��ري ح��ث م��واط �ن��ي‬ ‫فيكتوريا على �أن يكونوا‬ ‫في حالة ت�أهب للتعامل‬ ‫مع الحرفيين المتجولين الم�شكوك في‬ ‫�أمرهم مع اقتراب ال�صيف وا�ستمرار‬ ‫التنظيف بعد ح��االت الطق�س ال�سيء‬ ‫الأخيرة‪.‬‬ ‫�أطلقت وزير �ش�ؤون الم�ستهلكين مارلين‬ ‫كيروز حملة تهدف �إلى م�ساعدة النا�س‬ ‫في التعرف على الحرفيين المتجولين‬ ‫الم�شكوك ف��ي �أم��ره��م وط��رده��م من‬ ‫ممتلكاتهم‪.‬‬ ‫فال�صيف ه��و مو�سم ال ��ذروة لتجوال‬

‫المحتالين الذين يقدمون ال�صفقات‬ ‫الرخي�صة “لليوم فقط” التي تدفع‬ ‫مقابلها ن �ق��دا لمهمات م�ث��ل ال�ط�لاء‬ ‫و�إ� � �ص �ل�اح ال �� س �ق��ف و�� ص ��ب م��داخ��ل‬ ‫ال�سيارات‪.‬‬ ‫كما يزداد ن�شاطهم �أي�ضا بعد الأحوال‬ ‫الجوية ال�سيئة‪ ،‬عندما ي�سعى بع�ض‬ ‫الحرفيين �إلى القيام ب�أعمال ت�صليح‬ ‫م�شكوك في جودتها لأ��ض��رار ت�سببت‬ ‫فيها الكوارث الطبيعية‪.‬‬ ‫تلقت �إدارة � �ش ��ؤون الم�ستهلكين في‬ ‫ف �ي �ك �ت��وري��ا ‪� � 149‬ش �ك��وى بخ�صو�ص‬ ‫الن�صابين المتجولين في الفترة ما بين‬ ‫‪ 2015‬و ‪ 2016‬تبلغ خ�سائرها المبلغ‬ ‫عنها ما يقرب من ‪� 437‬ألف دوالر‪.‬‬ ‫وه��م كثيرا ما يطلبون ت�سديد المبلغ‬ ‫نقدا قبل البدء في العمل‪ ،‬ثم ي�أخذون‬ ‫المال ويهربون تاركين ورائهم عمل غير‬ ‫منته �أو رديء الجودة‪.‬‬ ‫ت�ستمر الحملة الم�شتركة لإدارة �ش�ؤون‬ ‫الم�ستهلكين ف��ي فيكتوريا ومنظمة‬ ‫�إي �ق��اف ال �ج��رائ��م ف��ي فيكتوريا حتي‬

‫م��ار��س‪�/‬أذار ‪ 2017‬وت�شمل �إعالنات‬ ‫ف��ي التليفزيون والإذاع� ��ة‪ ،‬و�إع�لان��ات‬ ‫مطبوعة �إ�ضافة �إل��ى و�سائل الإع�لام‬ ‫االجتماعية‪.‬‬ ‫وقد ترجمت التحذيرات من الن�صابين‬ ‫المتجولين �إلى ثماني لغات‪.‬‬ ‫�إذا كنت ت�شك في وجود ن�صاب متجول‬ ‫في منطقتك ات�صل بالخط ال�ساخن‬ ‫الوطني لمكافحة الن�صابين المتجولين‬ ‫على ‪.1300 133 408‬‬ ‫وق��د قالت وزي��رة ��ش��ؤون الم�ستهلكين‬ ‫م��ارل �ي��ن ك �ي��روز «ه� � ��ؤالء ال�م�ح�ت��ال��ون‬ ‫ين�صبون على �سكان فيكتوريا تاركين‬ ‫�ضحاياهم مت�ضررين نف�سيا وماليا‪».‬‬ ‫وا�ضافت «ينق�ض ه�ؤالء الن�صابون بعد‬ ‫الكوارث الطبيعية من �أمثال ال�سيول �أو‬ ‫الرياح العاتية عندما يكون �ضحاياهم‬ ‫�ضعاف العزيمة وفي حاجة ما�سة �إلى‬ ‫ت�صليح منازلهم‪�« ».‬إذا كنت ت�شك في‬ ‫�أن ببابك �أحد الن�صابين المتجولين‪،‬‬ ‫اطلب منه المغادرة‪ ،‬و�إذا رف�ض فهو‬ ‫مخالف للقانون‪».‬‬

‫اقامت جمعية الخدمات االجتماعية العربية‬ ‫‪ VASS‬االجتماع ال�سنوي العام ‪.‬حيث ح�ضر‬ ‫االجتماع ممثلي عن النواب في البرلمان اال�سترالي والبولي�س‬ ‫اال��س�ت��رال��ي ف��ي ف�ك�ت��وري��ا وممثلي ع��ن ال��دوائ��ر الحكومية‬ ‫واع�ضاء بلديات وو�سائل االعالم وفعاليات اجتماعية وثقافية‬ ‫واقت�صادية وح�شد من الجاليات االثنية والعربية‪ ،‬باال�ضافة‬ ‫الى اع�ضاء اللجنة التنفيدية للجمعية والموظفين والطالب‬ ‫في المعهد التعليمي والمهني ‪.VASS‬كانت كلمة للمدير‬

‫علي م�صطفى �شكر فيها كل من دعم و�ساهم في تطور هذه‬ ‫الم�ؤ�س�سة‪.‬كما القيت بع�ض الكلمات التي ت�ضمنت �شرح موجز‬ ‫عنن تاريخ الجمعية وعن االنجازات والن�شاطات خالل العام‬ ‫وعن الموازنة المالية للجمعية ‪.‬باال�ضافة الى النجاح والتفوق‬ ‫والتطور الم�ستمر وخا�صة تحديث ال�صفوف الجديدة في‬ ‫قطاع المهن والتعليم ‪.‬كما تم خالل تقديم �شهادات التخرج‬ ‫للطالب‪،‬وفي الختام كانت كلمة رئي�سة الجمعية ليلى علو�ش‬ ‫التي �شكرت الح�ضور لتلبية الدعوة واثنت على كل العاملين‬ ‫في الجمعية‪.‬‬

‫ك��ان��ت م��دي �ن��ة م �ل �ب��ورن‬ ‫كد�أبها‪ ،‬في موعد مع تظاهرة ثقافية‬ ‫ج ��دي ��دة‪� ،‬أال وه ��ي م �ع��ر��ض ال�ك�ت��اب‬ ‫ا�ﻹرت� ��ري ال��راب��ع ال ��ذي ي�ق��ام ك��ل عام‬ ‫برعاية الت�ضامن‪ .‬لم يكن هذا العام‬ ‫ك�سابقيه‪ ،‬بل جاء مزدانا بثوب مرهف‬ ‫�شفاف تتخلله مجموعة جديدة من كتب‬ ‫التراث ا�ﻹرت��ري �أعيد طبعها‪ ،‬لت�ضيف‬ ‫على المعر�ض بهاء وجماﻻ‪.‬‬ ‫وقد توافد على �أر�ض المعر�ض ال�سادة‬

‫ال��زوار من كل ح��دب و��ص��وب‪� ،‬أف��رادا‬ ‫وج� �م ��اع ��ات‪ ،‬ف �ج��ال��وا ف ��ي ال�م�ع��ر��ض‬ ‫واطلعوا كتبه المتنوعة وا�ستمتعوا بما‬ ‫هو معرو�ض فيه‪.‬‬ ‫ا�ستهل ال�ب��رن��ام��ج ب ��آي��ات م��ن ال��ذك��ر‬ ‫الحكيم �شنَّف بها القارئ ا�ﻷ خ محمد‬ ‫علي حامد �آذان الحا�ضرين‪ ،‬وتبعته‬ ‫كلمة رئي�س الت�ضامن ا�ﻷ مين عبداهلل‬ ‫ال ��ذي ق��دم للح�ضور �شرحا مف�صال‬ ‫عن اه��داف ودواف��ع المعر�ض وكيفية‬ ‫انبثاق الفكرة في الأ�سا�س والتركيز‬ ‫ع �ل��ى ال �� ش �ب��اب م ��ن خ �ل�ال م �ح��اول��ة‬

‫ربطهم بالوطن وتراثه وتمنى ان يجول‬ ‫المعر�ض في جميع وﻻيات �أ�ستراليا‪.‬‬ ‫ثم كانت كلمة ادري��س عثمان �أ�سناي‬ ‫ال�م��ش��رف ع�ل��ى ال�م�ع��ر��ض ح��ث فيها‬ ‫المجتمع ب�شكل ع��ام ان ي�ك��ون وﻻءه‬ ‫و�إنتماءه للوطن ب�شكل عام‪ .‬ثم قدمت‬ ‫عريفة الحفل الآن�سة �سعدية محمد‬ ‫�أحمد‪ ،‬ال�سيدة الكاتبة ‪ /‬حنان مران‬ ‫لتلقي محا�ضرتها والتي �إخ�ت��ارت لها‬ ‫ال �ع �ن��وان ال�ت��ال��ي (ال �� ص��ورة النمطية‬ ‫للمر�أة ا�ﻹرت��ري��ة خ��ارج �إط��ار الن�ضال‬ ‫وداخل ن�سيج المجتمع) فتناولت فيها‬

‫دور المر�أة ا�ﻹرترية في �صياغة ا�ﻷ دب‬ ‫ا�ﻹرت � ��ري ف��ي ال�ق��ص��ة وا�ﻷ ق��ص��و��ص��ة‬ ‫وال��رواي��ة‪ ،‬وتحدثت عن القالب الذي‬ ‫و�ضعت ف�ي��ه‪ ،‬وم��ن خ�لال ه��ذا ال��دور‬ ‫ال �م �ب �ت��ذل ال��رخ �ي ��ص ال� ��ذي و�ضعها‬ ‫فيه ال�ك��ات��ب‪ ،‬وك� ��أن دوره ��ا ف��ي داخ��ل‬ ‫ال�م�ج�ت�م��ع ﻻ ي �ت �ع��دى � �س��وى ال�ع��ر��ض‬ ‫وال �ط �ل��ب ل�ج��س��ده��ا وك ��أن �ه��ا ب�ضاعة‬ ‫م��زج��اة‪ ،‬وت�ستخدم ج�سدها كقنطرة‬ ‫لتحقيق متطلباتها الدنيوية‪ .‬وتت�ساءل‬ ‫الكاتبة قائلة‪ :‬هل هذا هو دورال�م��ر�أة‬ ‫في المجتمع فح�سب؟ الم يكن لها دور‬ ‫في ال�سلم والحرب؟ الم تكن هي ا�ﻷ م‬ ‫المربية الم�ضحية‪ ،‬وا�ﻷ خت والزوجة؟‬ ‫الم تكن دعامة المجتمع؟ لماذا حو�صر‬ ‫دورها في هذا الم�ستنقع الآثن؟!‬ ‫ا�ستر�سلت ا�ﻷ خت حنان مران في هذا‬ ‫المو�ضوع وال�ق��ت ال�ل��وم على الكتاب‬ ‫ا�ﻹرتريين‪ ،‬على القالب ال��ذي و�ضعوا‬ ‫فيه ال�م��ر�أة ا�ﻹرت��ري��ة‪ .‬وا�ﻷ م��ر لم يكن‬ ‫قا�صرا على الق�صة والرواية‪ ،‬بل تعداه‬ ‫الى ا�ﻷ غنية التي فيها �إيماءات وجراءة‬ ‫جن�سية لم نعهدها في �أغانينا ال�سابقة‪.‬‬ ‫ف��ال�م��ر�أة ا�ﻹرت��ري��ة عفيفة خجولة في‬ ‫مناحي حياتها‪ ،‬لم تت�سم في يوم من‬ ‫ا�ﻷ ي��ام هذه الجر�أة في اب��داء رغباتها‬ ‫الجن�سية! وان ك��ان كل ه��ذا يعزا الى‬ ‫�سيا�سة النظام في �أ�سمرا الذي يحث‬ ‫على التف�سخ وا�ﻹنحالل ا�ﻷ خالقي لكي‬ ‫ي�سهل له قيادة المواطن الم�سلم بمحو‬ ‫قيمه و�أخ�لاق��ه التي يحثه عليها دينه‬ ‫وع��ادات��ه وتقاليده التي �إكت�سبها من‬ ‫داخل مجتمعه‪ .‬وكان ينبغي على الكاتب‬ ‫ان ﻻينقاد لمثل هذه ا�ﻷ مور التي تدعو‬ ‫الى التف�سخ ا�ﻷ خالقي في رواياته‪.‬‬ ‫وبعد ان انهت ا�ﻷ خت حنان محا�ضرتها‬ ‫فتحت المجال للأ�سئلة والمداخالت‪.‬‬ ‫ث��م ج��اءت ف �ت��رة ا�ﻹ � �س �ت��راح��ة ت�ن��اول‬ ‫فيها الح�ضور وج�ب��ة ع�شاء خفيفة‪.‬‬ ‫وقد �شارك موقع ( �إرينا ) في المعر�ض‪،‬‬ ‫بت�سجيل كلمة الكاتب والدبلوما�سي ا�ﻷ خ‬ ‫فتحي عثمان من فرن�سا والتي حث فيها‬ ‫المجتمع الموا�صلة في هذه التظاهرة‬ ‫الثقافية والتم�سك بلغته وتعليمها‬ ‫اب �ن��اءه ب��ال��رغ��م م��ن م�ح��اول��ة النظام‬ ‫طم�سها ومحوها من البالد‪ .‬و�أك��د في‬ ‫حديثه على �أن اللغة العربية في ارتريا‬ ‫ومحيطها العربي‪ ،‬ال خوف عليها‪.‬‬ ‫وقد �شارك موقع عونا في نقل الندوة‬ ‫نقال مبا�شرا عبر التويتر والفي�سبوك‪،‬‬ ‫م�م��ا ج�ع��ل م�ت��اب�ع��ي م��واق��ع ال�ت��وا��ص��ل‬ ‫االجتماعية يح�ضرون المعر�ض �أوال‬ ‫ب�أول‪ .‬وقد قدمت الطفلة �شيراز ادري�س‬ ‫�أ�سناي عر�ضا ل�سيرة الكاتب ا�ﻷ �سترالي‬ ‫ال �ع��ري��ق ت��وم��ا��س ك �ن �ل��ي ع �ب��ر ك�ت��اب��ه‬ ‫(ال�ط��ري��ق ال��ى �أ� �س �م��را)‪ .‬ف��ي النهاية‬ ‫تم توزيع الجوائز على كل من ال�سيدة‬ ‫حنان مران والكاتب ا�ﻷ �سترالي توما�س‬ ‫كنلي والطفلة �شيراز ادري��س �أ�سناي‬ ‫وكانت هذه �آخر فقرة في البرنامج‪.‬‬

‫د‪ .‬عبد اهلل جمعة في حوار مع الوسط‪:‬‬ ‫ً‬ ‫استجابة الحتياجات المجتمع‬ ‫‪ 0‬المركز يمثل‬ ‫اإلرتري المسلم في غياب برامج تعنى‬ ‫بخصوصية ومستقبل أبنائه في استراليا‪.‬‬ ‫‪ 0‬أثر الهجرتين األوليتين للصحابة رضوان‬ ‫اهلل عليهم‪ ،‬بارز في المكون الثقافي‬ ‫واللغوي لالنسان اإلرتري‪.‬‬ ‫�أن يكون الإ�سالم واللغة العربية‪ ،‬مثا َر ٍ‬ ‫مطلبي‪ ،‬و ت�سا� ِ‬ ‫ؤالت ال�شِّ قاقِ والوفاقِ فو َق � ٍ‬ ‫أر�ض ‪ ،‬وبينَ �أم ٍة �شهدتْ �أولى الهجرتين في الإ�سالم‪� ،‬أم ٌر يدعو �إلى‬ ‫بحث‬ ‫ٍ‬ ‫لذلك ِ‬ ‫اال�ستغراب! فهل جاء م�شروع �إن�شاء (مركز الرابطة �أ�ستراليا) م�ؤخرا‪َ ،‬ح ْ�صح�ص ًة ِللحق؟و �إ�شبا ًعا َ‬ ‫الحرمان؟ زرتُ المركز؛ ِلتكوين ر�ؤي ٍة واقعي ٍة‪،‬‬ ‫فكانتْ مفاج�أ ًة تاريخي ًة في �ش�أن من �أم ِر الم�سلمين الإرتريين‪ .‬في ملبورن تمكَّن الأحفا ُد من غر�س م�شاري َع ُم�ستَحقَّة بالمواطنة على م�ساح ٍة لي�ستْ في‬ ‫� ِ‬ ‫تن�س َمه �أبنا�ؤُكم في الخارج! كيف؟و�أين؟ ولماذا؟وهل ؟و�أ�سئلة‬ ‫أر�ض الهجرتين! وك�أ َّن ل�سان حالهم يقول‪�...“ :‬أجدادنا الراحلون‪ ،‬ما ُحرِمتُم من تحقي ِقه في ال َّداخل ‪َّ ،‬‬ ‫�أخرى‪ ،‬طرحتُها على ِ‬ ‫ب�ساط الحوار مع المدير التنفيذي للـ(المركز)‪ ،‬فكانت هذه الح�صيلة”‪.‬‬ ‫حاوره أحمد شريف‬ ‫�س َّميتُم المركز الجديد بـ (مركز الرابطة ا�ستراليا)‪،‬‬ ‫هل هو ا�ستدعاء مق�صود لتاريخ(�أر�ض الهجرتين) في‬ ‫اال�سالم �أوال‪ ،‬ومن َثم(حزب الرابطة الإ�سالمية)‪ ،‬رائد‬ ‫الكتلة اال�ستقاللية �إ َّبان اال�ستعمار البريطاني لبالدكم؟‬ ‫يمثل المركز ر�ؤية مجتمعية تتميز بالتو�سط بين جمهور‬ ‫مجتمعها في الفهم والطموح والعمل والمطالب‪ .‬فهو‬ ‫الرابط الم�ؤ�س�سي بين �أفراد المجتمع الذي يمثله‪ .‬م�سمي‬ ‫(الرابطة)‪ ،‬ي�شير �إلى معاني عميقة يهدف �إلى �إر�سائها‬ ‫في المجتمع‪ ،‬من خالل �إيجاد ودعم االرتباط المجتمعي‬ ‫في �شتي �ضروب العمل والن�شاط‪ .‬فالمركز يدرك حجم‬ ‫التحديات الماثلة �أمام مجتمعنا‪ ،‬وال�شباب منه على وجه‬ ‫الخ�صو�ص‪ .‬ولمواجهة تلك التحديات والمخاطر مما‬ ‫توحي به التحوالت االجتماعية الهائلة الم�صاحبة للهجرة‬ ‫واالغتراب الثقافي‪ ،‬ف� ّإن مركز الرابطة يحمل على عاتقه‬ ‫برنامج ًا متكام ًال يبد�أ بالوعي وال ينتهي بال�سمو في �إطار‬ ‫تطلعات هذا المجتمع لحياة كريمة‪ ،‬ي�سعى �إليها حثيث ًا‬ ‫وجعل تلك الأمنيات واقع ًا معا�ش ًا‪.‬‬ ‫�ش ُرفت �إرتريا كونها قبلة الهجرة الأولى للم�سلمين‪ ،‬عندما‬ ‫�ضاقت بهم وبر�سالتهم �أم القرى مكة‪ ،‬فقال لهم النبي‬ ‫محمد عليه ال�صالة وال�سالم في رواية �أم الم�ؤمنين �أم‬ ‫�سلمة وهي احدي المهاجرات التي �شرفت �أر�ض الحب�شة‪:‬‬ ‫«�إن ب�أر�ض الحب�شة ملك ًا ال يظلم �أح��د عنده‪ ،‬فالحقوا‬ ‫ببالده‪ ،‬حتى يجعل اهلل لكم فرج ًا ومخرج ًا مما �أنتم فيه»‪.‬‬ ‫وممن هاجر الى الحب�شة(�إرتريا و�شمال �إثيوبيا الحالية)‬ ‫�سيدنا عثمان بن عفان ر�ضي اهلل عنه‪ ،‬وزوجه رقية بنت‬ ‫ر�سول اهلل �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‪ ،‬وجعفر الطياربن ابي‬ ‫طالب ابن عم الر�سول عليه ال�صالة وال�سالم‪ ،‬والزبير‬ ‫وعبد الرحمن بن عوف وابن م�سعود و�أبو �سلمة وزوجه �أم‬ ‫الم�ؤمنين �أم �سلمة ر�ضي اهلل عنهم اجمعين‪ .‬وجاء عنها‬ ‫في الأثر انها «�أر�ض �صدق»‪.‬‬ ‫�أما في التاريخ الحديث ف�إن م�سمى «الرابطة» له ارتباط‬ ‫بالعروة ال�سيا�سية التي جمعت مطلب م�سلمي �إرتريا في‬ ‫الإ�ستقالل الوطني بعد انتهاء الحرب العالمية الثانية‪،‬‬ ‫واختالف قطاع طائفي له وزنه في ال�شعب الإرت��ري �إلى‬ ‫ر�أي يطالب بااللتحاق باثيوبيا‪ ،‬وو��ص��ول لجنة تق�صي‬ ‫الحقائق التابعة للأمم المتحدة عن م�س�ألة تقرير م�صير‬ ‫الم�ستعمرة الإيطالية ال�سابقة وال�ت��ي �سيطرت عليها‬ ‫بريطانيا �ضمن قوات الحلفاء‪ .‬وكانت الرابطة الإ�سالمية‬ ‫هي نواة الكتلة الإ�ستقاللية‪ .‬ومن بعد ذلك توا�صل ن�ضال‬ ‫ال�شعب الإرتري قرابة ن�صف قرن‪ ،‬حتى تمكن من تحرير‬ ‫�أر�ضه في عام ‪ ،1991‬وانتظر عامين ليعلن ا�ستقالله في‬ ‫‪ 24‬مايو ‪..1993‬‬ ‫�شراء �أر�ض م�ساحتها(‪� )5‬أفدنة في منطقة (روكبانك)‬ ‫بملبورن‪ ،‬جاء مح�صلة ل�سنوات من التفكير والتخطيط‬ ‫والمثابرة‪ ،‬كيف تمكنتم من توحيد الر�ؤى ب�ش�أن المركز‪،‬‬ ‫في ظل واقع االختالف والتفرق الذي ِ‬ ‫يع�صف ب�إرتريا؟‬

‫ال�م�ط�ل��وب ه��و االخ�ل�ا��ص ف��ي ال�ع�م��ل وال �ف �ه��م العميق‬ ‫لمقت�ضياته‪ ،‬وتوحيد الجهود المجتمعية للو�صول الى‬ ‫الهدف الم�شترك‪ ،‬والبعد عن الم�سائل الخالفية قدر‬ ‫االمكان‪ .‬وديدننا �أن نتعاون فيما اتفقنا عليه‪ ،‬و�أن يعذر‬ ‫بع�ضنا بع�ضا فيما اختلفنا فيه‪ .‬وهذا الفهم �أ�صبح ر�ؤية‬ ‫م�شتركة للقائمين على عمل المركز‪ ،‬مما �أعان االدارة في‬ ‫ال�سير قدما في الخطط المر�سومة دون عوائق كبيرة‪ ،‬غير‬ ‫بع�ض فترات الغب�ش في الر�ؤية التي �أدت �إلى تثاقل الخطى‬ ‫في ال�سير الم�شترك‪ .‬لكن بف�ضل اهلل �سرعان ما عادت‬ ‫روح الوئام‪ ،‬وزال��ت الغمة عن الأب�صار‪ ،‬وع��ادت القافلة‬ ‫لل�سير ولو ب�شكل مت�أني ووئيد نحو الأهداف المر�سومة‪.‬‬ ‫و�إرتريا في الداخل �أو �شعبها المتواجد في الخارج‪ ،‬يمر‬ ‫ب�أزمة ثقة بين مكوناته ‪ ،‬نتيجة للو�ضع ال�سيا�سي القاتم‬ ‫الذي تتحكم به قوى تمثل ردة �سيا�سية عن مجمل التاريخ‬ ‫الوطني ال�ت�ح��رري‪ .‬وق��د �أدى ذاك الو�ضع ال��ى هجرة‬ ‫قطاعات كبيرة م��ن ال�شعب �إل��ى مختلف بقاع الأر��ض‬ ‫ومنها ا�ستراليا‪ .‬وف�شلت «الجاليات» الإرت��ري��ة المقيمة‬ ‫بوالية فكتوريا في ايجاد مقر يجمع �شتاتها بالرغم من‬ ‫قلة تعدادها الن�سبي‪ ،‬وج��اءت فكرة �إن�شاء مقر للجالية‬ ‫الإرترية الم�سلمة؛ لتلبية تطلعات �أفراد المجتمع في العمل‬ ‫المجتمعي الم�شترك وتحقيق �أ�شواقهم لإن�شاء م�سجد‬ ‫جامع‪ ،‬ودار ت�ستوعب حاجاتهم االجتماعية والثقافية‪.‬‬ ‫م��اه��ي ال�م��ش��اري��ع وال �ب��رام��ج ال�ت��ي �ستقف ��ش��اه��دة على‬ ‫�أهداف ومرامي الت�أ�سي�س؟‬ ‫المركز م�شروع مجتمعي ي�ستهدف النهو�ض بالمجتمع على‬ ‫جميع الأ�صعدة‪ .‬وهو بذلك ي�ضع �ضمن �أهدافه تمكين‬ ‫المجتمع من الولوج �إلى ميادين التقدم في التعليم والعمل‬ ‫والثقافة والأخالق والعلم والتدين‪ .‬كما ي�ستهدف العناية‬ ‫بكل فئات المجتمع‪ ،‬و�س ُيعنَى المركز بالمر�أة والطفل‪ .‬كما‬ ‫�ستكون هناك برامج ريا�ضية وترفيهية للنا�شئة وال�شباب‪.‬‬ ‫و�سيتم ب�سط الأن�شطة االجتماعية اليومية واال�سبوعية‬ ‫والمو�سمية ‪ ،‬وت�سهيل �إقامة االحتفاالت الخا�صة والعامة‪.‬‬ ‫كما �سيتم تقديم خدمات ودع��م للأ�سر والأف ��راد؛ لنيل‬ ‫حقوقهم المكفولة بالقانون في مجاالت ال�صحة والتعليم‬ ‫وال�سكن المنا�سب‪ ،‬ورعاية الذين يتعاي�شون مع االعاقة‬ ‫وكبار ال�سن وما �إلى ذلك‪� .‬أي�ضا �سيكون العمل االجتماعي‬ ‫ورع��اي��ة الن�شئ بتعليم اللغة العربية وتحفيظ ال�ق��ر�آن‬ ‫الكريم‪� ،‬ضمن �أولويات ن�شاط المركز‪.‬‬ ‫ول�ك��ن ه�ن��اك َم��ن ُيطالبكم ب�شفافي ٍة وم��ش��ارك� ٍة �أك�ب��ر‪،‬‬ ‫ب��ر�أي �ك��م م��ا ه��ي دالالت م �ث��ل ه �ك��ذا م �ط��ال��ب ف��ي ه��ذا‬ ‫المرحلة بالذات؟ وكيف �ستتعاملون معها؟‬ ‫ن�شجع تدفق المعلومات على الم�ستويين الأفقي والر�أ�سي‬ ‫وف��ي ك��ل االت�ج��اه��ات ‪ ،‬كما نتطلع لال�ستماع �إل��ى ر�أي‬ ‫الجمهور والأفراد‪ .‬وكل �أن�شطة المركز محكومة بالقانون‪،‬‬ ‫وت�سير وفق لوائح ومنظومة عمل ن ال تخرج عنها الإدارة‪.‬‬ ‫بالتالي �إن �إدارة المركز مع ال�شفافية‪ ،‬وترحب ب�أو�سع‬ ‫م�شاركة من المجتمع‪ ،‬وال يمكن للمركز �أن يحقق �أهدافه‬ ‫ما لم تتحقق الم�شاركة الفعالة واال�سهام المبدع والحر‬

‫في جميع �أن�شطة ومرافق الم�شروع‪ .‬لذلك ف�إن المطالب‬ ‫بال�شفافية واالم�شاركة‪.‬‬ ‫نتعامل مع كل المطالب في �إط��ار روح العمل الم�شترك‬ ‫والتنظيم االداري واللوائح المنظمة لعمل المركز‪ .‬وقد‬ ‫يرى البع�ض �أن فترة �سنتين لإن�شاء المركز كانت طويلة‬ ‫بع�ض ال�شيء‪ .‬لكن قد �سبق �أن �إدارة المركز قد �أو�ضحت‬ ‫ال�ضرورات التي دعت �إلى البطء في العمل؛ حر�صا على‬ ‫التجويد‪ ،‬باال�ضافة �إلى الظروف المو�ضوعية والتحديات‬ ‫المادية التي �صاحبت العمل في الم�شروع‪ .‬كانت عملية‬ ‫البحث �شاقة‪ ،‬وتطلبت الت�أني واتباع منهج عملي وحر�ص‬ ‫�شديد في الت�أكد من كل المعايير ال�ضرورية في الأرا�ضي‬ ‫المتوفرة‪ .‬ومن تلك المعايير �سالمة الأر�ض من العيوب‪.‬‬ ‫العناية ب��الأر��ض المنا�سبة‪� ،‬أخ��ذت فترة زمنية طويلة‬ ‫ن�سبيا‪ ،‬لكنها كانت �ضرورة‪ .‬ر�أينا �أن ال نهدر وقت المجتمع‬ ‫الأعظم والأهم وهو الم�ستقبل‪.‬‬ ‫تُالحظ �أزم ُة (الثالثينية) في ال�ش�أن الإرتري‪ .‬الكفاح‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫الم�ستعمرِين‪ ،‬ج��اء بعد قرابة(ثالثين‬ ‫الم�سلح �ضد‬ ‫ع��ام��ا) م��ن ال�ك�ف��اح ال�سلمي ال��س�ي��ا��س��ي‪ ،‬ون��ال��ت �إرت��ري��ا‬ ‫ا�ستقاللها بعد ن�ضال م�سلح ا�ستمر(ثالثين ع��ام��ا)‪،‬‬ ‫و�أن(مركز الرابطة �أ�ستراليا) ُد�شن بعد(ثالثين عاما)‬ ‫من ت�أ�سي�س الجالية الإرترية في �أ�ستراليا! هل �ستالحق‬ ‫جاليتَكم عقد ُة (الثالثينية) حتى تكون الأفكا ُر واقعا‬ ‫معا�شا؟‬ ‫ت�أ�س�ست الجالية الإرت��ري��ة في العام ‪1986‬م ا�ستجابة‬ ‫لحاجة الجالية لمكان تجتمع فيه وتناق�ش فيه ق�ضاياها‪.‬‬ ‫انتماءات �سيا�سية واجتماعية متباينة‪،‬‬ ‫لكنها تجاذبتها‬ ‫ٌ‬ ‫�أدت �إلى تكوين عدد من الجاليات االرترية‪ ،‬ت�صل �إلى اكثر‬ ‫من خم�سة ع�شر جالية �إرترية في والية فكتوريا‪ .‬وتكونت‬ ‫الجمعية اال�سالمية في العام ‪1993‬م؛ ا�ستجابة الحتياجات‬ ‫المجتمع الإرت� ��ري الم�سلم عندما ل��م تجد البرامج‬ ‫التي تُعنى بخ�صو�صية الم�سلمين و�أبنائهم مثل تحفيظ‬ ‫القر�آن ومدافن الم�سلمين‪ ،‬باال�ضافة �إل��ى المع�سكرات‬ ‫والمحا�ضرات والندوات االر�شادية‪ .‬لكن تو�سع اهتمامات‬ ‫المجتمع الإرت��ري الم�سلم‪ ،‬تطلب ر�ؤي��ة جديدة للعمل‪.‬‬ ‫فكانت اال�ستجابة لتلك التطلعات الم�شروعة‪ ،‬با�ست�صحاب‬ ‫التجربة الوطنية والتجربة الخا�صة بالجالية والمجتمع‬ ‫الإرت��ري الم�سلم في ا�ستراليا‪ .‬وقد �ساعد كل ذلك في‬ ‫البداية ال�صحيحة لمركز الرابطة ا�ستراليا‪ .‬ن�أمل �أن ترى‬ ‫م�شاريعنا النور قريبا �إن �شاء اهلل‪.‬‬ ‫ت�أ�سي�س(مركز الرابطة �أ�ستراليا) يعك�س الحري َة التي‬ ‫يتمتع ب��ه ال�م��واط��ن اال��س�ت��رال��ي‪�� ،‬س��واء ف��ي االع�ت�ق��اد �أو‬ ‫التعبد‪ ،‬ما هو دور مركزكم‪ ،‬في تعزيز حوار الح�ضارات‬ ‫داخل المجتمع الأ�سترالي المتعدد الأعراق والثقافات؟‬ ‫على هذه الأر�ضية انطلقنا‪ ،‬ونتفهم ر�سالتنا في الق�ضايا‬ ‫الأ� �س��ا� �س �ي��ة ت�لام��س واق ��ع ال �ن��ا��س ث�ق��اف�ي��ا واجتماعيا‬ ‫واقت�صاديا‪ .‬ومن قيم مركز الرابطة الت�ضامن المجتمعي‬ ‫وتبادل وم�شاركة الأفكار والقيم والف�ضائل النبيلة والموارد‬ ‫المادية والتعاي�ش ال�سلمي بين الثقافات المتباينة وحماية‬

and federal MP from various political parties and also VMC Chairperson Helen Kapolos. ICV was represented by the ICV President Mohamed Mohideen. Sheikh Essa, Imam of the Masjid welcomed them and also gave a talk on aspects of Islam which was followed by a Q&A session

It was a fruitful day with very constructive discussions,The Imams discussed the future of ANIC and the Muslim community and moving forward towards a better and bright future for Muslims in Australia.

Meadow Heights Mosque Open Day Milli Gorus Sareera-Youth Meadow Heights Mosque hosted a Mosque open day inviting members of the local and wider community. The aim was to build bridges and understanding as well as remove misconceptions and show the activites that happen at our mosque. Sareera worked alongside ICMG youth Meadow Heights with many people volunteering to bring people into the mosque. We had a really great time meeting new people and being part of this great event! Removal of S 48 return bar and fraudulent migration agents Farhan Rehman

Partner at RSG Lawyers. Some very important c o m m e n t a r y was considered regarding Section 48 bars in Singh v Minister for Immigration and Border Protection (2016) FCAFC 141. There may now be a cause for visa Applicants to obtain a remedy in the courts if they have been barred from returning to Australia (known as section 48 Bar) as a result of “fraud” by a migration agent. The summary of the Singh case is as follows: 1.The Applicant arrived in Australia 2009 as a dependant on his Wife’s student visa.

2.The marriage was experiencing difficulties and the Applicant wished to obtain visa independently. 3.Applicant obtained the assistance of migration firm. 4.An application for a skilled visa was prepared by the firm. 5.Application stated that positive skilled assessment had

been received from the Trades Recognition Authority. 6.Department wrote to Applicant stating that trade assessment had not occurred thus the document was alleged to be fraudulent. 7.Applicant did not respond so failed to satisfy PIC 4020. 8.Applicant appealed matter all the way to the Full Court. 9.Full Court ruled that the Federal Circuit Court in fact had jurisdiction where there is a claim by the Applicant of fraud on part of the migration agent and that as a result of that fraud the underlying visa application has been rendered invalid. What does this confusing commentary mean for section 48 bars? Generally, where it has been found that a migration

agent has prepared and/or lodged a visa application based on fraudulent information or material (without the knowledge of the applicant), there is a real chance to avoid the imposition of a section 48 bar against further visa applications. DAESH and Australian Employers ASAK and Greetings All. This month’s article is about a rather unusual matter of the Fair Work Commission (“FWC”), where an employer was ordered to pay compensation to an employee who Hyder Gulam was dismissed for sharing and Al wasat c o m m e n t i n g Legal Editor on social media posts about Daesh (otherwise known as ISIS) outside of work hours. The actual facts are quite brief. The employer (Aerocare Flight Support Pty Ltd), a provider of airport ground handling and services, had dismissed the employee (Mr Nirmal Singh) on the basis of a number of social media posts, including and primarily a post relating to the terrorist organisation commonly known as Daesh. The employee had shared a post from a Facebook group called HT Australia and added the comment “We all support ISIS.” The FWC noted that apparent support for Daesh would justify termination on the basis that supporting a terrorist organisation is incompatible with and poses a danger to the secure airport environment. However, more thorough investigation, including obtaining a written account from Mr Singh would have satisfied Aerocare that Mr Singh in fact did not support ISIS. A reasonable conclusion would then be that the ISIS post was an incredibly stupid post to have been made. The FWC found that Mr Singh’s dismissal was harsh, unjust and unreasonable, and determined that Aerocare had to pay to Mr Singh the amount of $4,800 less tax as required by law. In reaching this finding the FWC noted the following: • Aerocare had failed to properly investigate the Facebook account or give Mr Singh an opportunity to explain all of his recent posts. • Aerocare justified dismissal on the basis of at least five social media posts by Mr Singh, however only three of these were put to Mr Singh during the investigation and of those three, Aerocare later admitted that only the Daesh post could justify termination. • The Aerocare investigator only took a 10 minute break from interviewing Mr Singh to call his superiors before informing Mr Singh of his dismissal. Given the complexity of the matter, this could not have been sufficient time to fully disclose to his superiors, and for them to properly consider, the content of the interview and Mr Singh’s responses to the allegations. • There was no evidence that Aerocare considered any sanction other than dismissal. • Aerocare had not demanded the return of Mr Singh’s security pass until four days after his suspension commenced, suggesting that it did not consider him a genuine security threat. This matter highlights the significance to employers of conducting a thorough investigation before coming to a decision on how to deal with an employee on the basis of social media posts. It also highlights the need for employers to have a social media policy (including ones which specifically address out of hours conduct), training employees in such policies, and making them aware that comments they make online are in a public forum and can have ramifications in relation to their employment. IREA The Islamic Research and Educational Academy held its first annual panel event on Islamophobia: Australians United Against Hatred. In a growing climate of hatred and intolerance, initiatives like this are vital to address the issues and questions posed by Islamophobia, racism and bigotry. IREA’s diverse panel hosted prominent activists and speakers from across Australia, including Aboriginal elders Dorothy Fox (Larrakia nation) and Andrew Gardiner (Wurundjeri nation), Father Rod Bower (Gosford

Anglican Church), Keysar Trad (President, AFIC) and many others. Events from previous weeks around the world may have sown doubt in people›s minds, along with a media narrative that says hatred and prejudice are the attitudes of a growing «silent majority». IREA takes exception to this description of Australians. Many issues surrounding Islamophobia, whether political or social, were grappled, with prominent speakers addressing the key problems with the anti-Muslim narrative, and how society can do more to tackle it. Challenging questions were

asked, by both audience and the speakers. “Rational critiques of Islam are always welcome; as with more education, higher understanding is achieved,” IREA President, Waseem Razvi, has declared. “On the other hand, Islamophobes are purely irrational liars embarking on a hate filled rant, having no authenticity nor any sincere concern for the nation.” We Australians must stand united against all hatred, no matter who it targets, but especially those who are voiceless or least heard. Whether it is anti-Semitism, persecution of Christians,

Islamophobia, xenophobia or racism towards Aboriginals, our mission must be to present a unified front against them, to challenge the growing prevalence of these attitudes. As we drew support from diverse backgrounds and locales, IREA hopes support different initiatives and movements, to fight persecution, poverty and discrimination, and a broader effort to revive the Islamic spirit and values across Australia. Australian Greens and Muslim Peak Bodies Speak Out Against Islamophobia and Racism

ICV The Board of Imams Victoria and the Islamic Council of Victoria met with leaders and delegates from the Australian Greens Party on Sunday 6th of November to show appreciation for the political party’s Parliament walk out and their continuous denunciation of racist rhetoric on many fronts. The two Islamic bodies also offered their support to the Greens in their struggle to further social equality in a variety of spaces and to form a more concentrated stance on refugee and asylum seeker advocacy. The Australian Greens Leader and Senator for Victoria, Dr Richard Di Natale, spoke about the Greens’ rejection of racist rhetoric and Islamophobia in Parliament, and the values that informed the Greens’ decision to walk out of Pauline Hanson’s maiden speech. He also discussed the Greens’ opposition to policies and political agendas that fuel hatred in Australia,

such as the recent proposal to ban asylum seekers who arrived in Australia by boat from 2013 onward from obtaining any Australia visa, as well as the government’s talk of amending the important anti-discrimination protections afforded by section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act. Board of Imams Victoria Member Shaykh Moustapha Sarakibi also reaffirmed the board’s commitment to build a working relationship with the political party. His words were backed by board President Shaykh Issa Musa who orated a Swahili proverb: “Mountains don’t meet, people meet.” “We are starting to see slowly that the Greens are the advocates of the people,” he said before thanking the party for their stand against Pauline Hanson. ICV President Dr. Mohamed Mohideen spoke about the importance of advocating for the rights of asylum seekers and the necessity of standing up to policies that call for the banning of Muslim immigration to Australia. “This

must be the last group of migrants to be affected by racism,” he concluded. ICV Executive Board Member Nada Kalam deleivered a stirring speech by relating stories from her past and conveying the struggles the Muslim community faces as a result of racism and Islamophobia. Sen. Di Natale also shared his own story as an Italian-Australian of migrant background and the suffering his endured as a result of racism in the past. He concluded his speech by conveying his fears for the future of his children if divisive policies and rhetoric are allowed to pervade. Senator Di Natale reaffirmed the Greens’ ongoing commitment to taking a stand against racism and the politics of hatred. All speakers leveled criticism at the leaders of public discourse by mentioning that all the hard work being done by service and support providers is undermined when people in the media and parliament act irresponsibly.

Rally to Welcome Refugees ICV ICV Executive Dr. Umber Rind attended the ‘Doctors for Refugee’s Rally’ on Sunday, 6th November., to show support for the housing of around 120 Syrian women and children in St. Vincent’s dilapidated care services units in Melbourne’s suburb of Eltham. The human rights rally called for the resettlement initiative and to help stymie the efforts the “coalition of patriotic Australians”. Dr Umber said “I had the honour to be asked to speak on behalf of Doctors for Refugees at a rally organised by the Refugee Action Collective on Saturday, November 5. The message was to highlight the difficulties for refugees on Manus and Nauru accessing quality healthcare for serious conditions. It was also a way to bring attention to the recent amendment to the Border Force Act to exempt healthcare workers from possible 2-year prison sentences for disclosing details about care in the detention system. This amendment does not include teachers, social workers or other guardians.”

In 2015, the Australian government pledged to accept 12,000 refugees fleeing from the war-zones of Iraq and Syria however, just last week they stated that they were no longer going to receive any more asylum

seekers arriving by boat. This will have the predictable effect of increasing population numbers in offshore detention centres such as Manus and Nauru, both of which are renowned for their extremely poor living conditions.

Approximately 1400 people gathered to commemorate the school’s achievements over the last 30 years. Haji Abdallah Magar, founder of Australian Islamic College was

presented with a lifetime achievement award for his vision, dedication and commitment in establishing the largest Islamic school in Australia. The College was established in 1986 with a humble beginning of 50 students and 2 teachers in a rented property to present day with 2,700 students across 3 campuses. Ilim College offers students a choice of learning one of two languages that are important to our school community: Arabic and Turkish. Every year, Ilim College celebrates

Parents and staff contributed to a fantastic collection of traditional Arabic exhibits ranging from folklore costume to cooking utensils. Furthermore, video clips were embedded in the artifacts’ labels which allowed visitors to see more than what meets the eye. Visitors enjoyed the Dhiyafah of traditional Arabic coffee and dates.

The week also involved students bringing a traditional Arabic dish and to create a ‘Food Card’ to inform other students about the dishes they brought. Of course, the dishes were shared with other students after that.

Students also competed by creating posters about their favourite Arabic landmarks by responding to a set of questions.

Elsedeaq Mosque, located in West Heidelberg, was awarded a harmony award by the Victorian Multicultural Commission. The mosque, led by Sheikh Alaa Elzokm, has opened up to the wider community in an attempt to break down negative stereotypes and misconceptions associated with Islam. The mosque has held open days and dinners in a serious effort to help better the community’s understanding of the Islamic faith. The Sheikhs Friday sermons have focused on the challenges that face Muslims in Australia as well as reconciling between the law of the country and religious rulings. Further sermons have focused on Islamophobia, which Sheikh Alaa believes is a serious issue that requires an equal effort from both Muslim and Non-Muslims to eliminate from the Australian Society. Elsedeaq Mosque will continue to open the doors of the mosque and welcome the wider community to learn more about the Islamic Faith.

Hajj Week 2016 What outstanding performances and dedication from our classes. This year we have put together large replicas of the hajj stations. The students performed and practiced their hajj rituals under the guidance and supervision of their Islamic Studies teachers.

In addition, all other subjects integrated the hajj topic in their learning throughout hajj week that fortunately happened to be on the last week of Term 3. The last day of Term 3, male students wore long white Islamic outfits and female students had the choice between black or white. The college

was an amazing platform for young Pilgrims, coloured with black and white of all ages. We hoped to have Fri- day’s Khutbah in the open, however, the weather wasn’t as we expected and we continued in the gym instead. Both students and parents provided outstanding feedback about hajj week and they enjoyed it

on so many levels, physically, emotionally and spiritually

The Australian Islamic Leadership Conference The first Islamic Leadership Conference, co-ordinated by Mr Farrukh Hussain, hosted invited delegates from interstate to discuss potential issues affecting the Muslim communities in Australia and identifying the potential of strategies to address them. The Islamic Leadership Conference held at the

Islamic Museum of Australia/ Melbourne at 2th of November 2016 where Australia’s Islamic community joined hands together to start new era in community works and relations. Corporate leaders, writers, lawyers, doctors and researchers joined their heads together to discuss issues relating to betterment of Islamic Community in Australia.

THE GLOBAL WAQF CONFERENCE (GWC) 2016

On the 19th-21st September 2016, I was invited to present a paper at the Global Waqf Conference in Swansea University, Wales UK with the universal theme of practising Waqf as a way of life. The first conference of Global Waqf was held from the 16th to 21st June 2014 in Istanbul, Turkey with a theme “Waqf Management:

Turkish Experience”. The second conference of Global Waqf was held from the 28th September to 1st October 2015 in Moscow, the Russian Federation with a theme “Waqf, Trust and Endowment: Towards Voluntary Sector’s Development in the Global Economic Transformation.” Waqf is defined as the perpetual dedication of any property or asset to God and devoting it for a religious cause for the benefit of human beings. Therefore, Waqf is a means that brings human being closer to their creator and wins the hearts of the poor and needy. This year’s conference at Swansea University in the United Kingdom was jointly organised by Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK), Swansea University, Wales and the International Centre for Waqf Research (ICWR) of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). The conference provides a forum for presenting new research results, case studies as well as discussing current and challenging issues of Waqf

as a practice of social funding to provide social benefit for the public at large. It is also a forum for discussions about the prospects and opportunities of Waqf development and related topics of Islamic Finance in Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific. Two welcoming Speeches were presented by the Vice Chancellor of Swansea University Professor Richard B. Davies and the Datuk Dr. Mohd Ghazali bin Md. Noor Deputy Chairman International Centre for Waqf Research (ICWR). Professor Datuk Seri Md Zabid bin Hj. Abdul Rashid, president and Vice Chancellor of UNIRAZAK, presented a paper about “Future Prospects of Global Waqf Practices in Higher Education”. He emphasised “the poor understanding of the role of Waqf in the Muslim-majority countries, and therefore we need to review, study and redevelop successful Waqf models”. Associate Professor Dr. Sharifah Syed Abdul Kader,

director of the International Centre for Waqf Research (ICWR) of the Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), said, “in order to sell Waqf to Muslim-minority countries and apply it in the future, we have to borrow from Waqf in the past and learn from it”. The role of charitable structures in promoting the commercialisation of intellectual property within universities in Uk was presented by Professor Iwan Davies of Swansea university. He highlighted the role of the transfer of knowledge between academia and industry. The primary objective of my paper is to study the relevance of Waqf to the Australian society from the perspective of maqasid al- Shari’ah. Therefore, it was important to examine how maqasid al- Shari’ah is achieved in the introduction of Waqf in Australian society, and how Waqf can be rejuvenated to serve the purpose of maqasid al-Shari’ah, which aims to preserve life, intellect, religion, progeny and property.

During the glorious days of the Islamic civilisation, Waqf played a significant role in the cultural, economic, educational and many other social amenities of the society. Nowadays, instead of being an innovative and productive institution, it is argued that Waqf is locked to a narrow understanding and a practice of religious Waqf (waqf khairi). Waqf is understood to be a charity made to mosques just for religious purposes. To rejuvenate the concept of Waqf, we have to move beyond this limited understanding. Stemming from the findings and to optimise contributions towards the creation of Waqf, I proposed the following recommendations: 1- Properly plan, manage and integrate the Waqf system into Australian society for the purposes of poverty reduction and economic growth. 2-Conduct more research about the differences between the Waqf system and trusts in Australia. Benefitting from the trust formula can inspire and guide custodians of Waqf and

stakeholders. 3- Have Islamic scholars emphasise the role of Waqf to give due attention and awareness about the essence of Waqf. It is the responsibility of Islamic leaders to provide full support to the Waqf model, which will significantly contribute to the social solidarity of the society. 4- Integrate the methodology of maqasid al-Shari’ah into the contemporary knowledge of sustainability of the Waqf system. 5-Organise academic seminars and workshops that invite specialists on Islamic jurisprudence, philanthropic work and economy. This conference is hoped to be an eye opener to researchers and academics on the contemporary relevance and the need of practising Waqf as a way of life in achieving the higher objectives of Shari’ah and serving the purpose of maqasid al-Shari’ah for the ongoing benefit of the general public.

The annual event was started by the Lebanese Muslim Association, with support from the Department of Social Services, to spread information and awareness about Islam in Australia. Victoria Appoint First Female Government Solicitor Mohammad Safar The state of Victoria has appointed Marlo Baragwanath as the state’s first official female government solicitor. Baragwanath, who has been in several senior roles in the government and legal sectors for the past 15 years, has expressed her pride in her appointment to the role. “I’m really proud to be the first woman appointed to the position.” Baragwanath said. Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews also expressed his pride in the decision. “Marlo Baragwanath is a person of outstanding ability, skills and experience – and we’re proud to officially appoint the first woman this pivotal role.” Andrews said. Baragwanath will take her new position in December.

The Crescent Foundation and Western Sydney University have joined together to launch a new scholarship program to support high-achieving students from refugee backgrounds. Driven by a shared vision to assist refugees and provide life-changing educational opportunities, the Crescent Foundation will offer the scholarships to students who have been granted permanent humanitarian visas in the past five years. The Crescent Foundation Leadership Scholarships are valued at $7,500 per year for three years. In 2017, three scholarships will be offered to students studying across the full range of courses offered by Western Sydney University, with scope to expand the program over time. In addition, further support from the community will be sought to fund at least an extra 20 scholarships under the program. Vice-Chancellor Professor Barney Glover says Western Sydney University is pleased to be able to provide practical assistance to those who are making a new start in Australia. “We know the powerful role that higher education plays in transforming people’s lives, and the positive flow-on effects this has for their families and wider communities,” says Professor Glover. “Many refugees who are new to Australia have had their education disrupted through war and violence. We are pleased to partner with the Crescent Foundation to establish these scholarships to help

Multinationals will Pay Right Tax in Australia Australian multinational anti-avoidance law applies from 1 January 2016. It ensures multinationals pay fair share of tax on profits earned in Australia. It targets large corporations that implement arrangements or schemes to avoid having a taxable presence in Australia, resulting in an outcome of paying a little or no tax to this country. The anti-avoidance measures apply to a significant global entity which is defined as having an annual global income of $1 billion or more. The law intends to capture situations where a foreign multinational supplies goods or services to Australian customers and books that revenue offshore; an Australian entity undertakes activities directly in connection with the supply; and one of the principal purposes of this arrangement is to obtain a tax benefit from Australia. A tax benefit would include an amount not being treated as assessable income, a deduction being claimed, a capital loss being claimed, a foreign income tax

To improve transparency in international taxation, significant global entities will have to comply with the country by country reporting regime. In this regime, these entities that are Australian residents or foreign residents with an Australian Permanent Establishment will have to provide 3 reports to the Australian Taxation Office: master file, local file and country by country business matrix file. These reports require multinationals to disclose details regarding their international related party dealings, revenues,

profits, and taxes paid by jurisdiction. They are due in 12 months from the end of a financial year. If a significant global entity makes a supply through an Australian subsidiary or a Permanent Establishment or a commercially dependent entity, the anti-avoidance legislation will not apply. This is due to the fact that these Australian entities through which the supply is made will be legally liable to pay the right amount of tax in Australia. In the event a multinational corporation doesn’t pay fair share of tax, the Commissioner of Taxation will cancel the tax benefit obtained in connection to its businesses in Australia. In addition, the Commissioner has power to impose 100 per cent penalty for the culpability of avoiding tax in this country. This will translate to an example in which a multinational avoids $500 million in tax for a particular financial year, they will be required to pay back this amount ($500 million) and pay a penalty of $500 million, increasing Australian revenue base by $1 billion in that year.

Coming so soon after the transparent attempt to unload our offshore Muslim asylum seekers on the USA in return for Christian refugees from Latin America, it highlights the Trumpism and affinity with the One Nation Party, of this Eric Abetz dominated government. The purpose of Dutton’s ill-judged attack on Malcolm Fraser was apparently to be able to vilify Lebanese-Australians, whom he cited as friendly to terrorism. He said that many foreign fighters getting involved in conflict zones were the children or grandchildren of Lebanese migrants who came in the 1970s and 1980s. The Islamic Council of Victoria, in its statement of 22 November, stated: “The minister’s claim that 22 of the last 33 people charged with terrorism offences are from ‘second and third generation Lebanese-Muslim background’ is an irresponsible misappropriation of statistics and gratuitously blames entire generations for the actions of a handful of individuals who are born and bred Australians.” It also said that this sort of racist rhetoric plays directly into the hands of extremists who try to demonstrate that Muslims are unwelcome in Australia. John Menadue, former head of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and former secretary of the Department of Immigration and Ethnic Affairs, pointed out that the contribution of Malcolm Fraser was that he ‘broke the back of White Australia.’ Perhaps this is what upsets the current crop of extremist Liberal-National

TRUE GIRT Hatred of the Irish has deep roots in Australia. Back in 1824 Governor Brisbane reported “every diabolical crime, which has been committed in the colony since my arrival, has been perpetrated by Roman Catholics.” Until very recent times, “Irish” was synonymous with “Roman Catholic.” That is until European migrants from Catholic countries came in large numbers. When the transportation of convicts was ended to the east coast in 1840, in part due to the unacceptable levels of sodomy amongst the convicts, herded together in large numbers, free settlers became the focus. This led to what Hunt describes as “an alms race” between Catholics and Protestants. The religious sects competed in sponsoring migrants of their own faith while the English and Scottish

Protestant squatters “ imported Indian and Chinese labourers who could be exploited for a pittance, a business model later perfected by 7-Eleven.” The 1848 revolutions in Europe, all of which failed, led to an influx of refugee European immigrants, followed by the tsunami of white settlers and Chinese of the Gold Rush. “The settlers swarmed onto Aboriginal land “like flies to roadkill.” Indeed Charles Darwin wrote, on his short visit in 1836, “wherever the European has trod, death seems to pursue the Aboriginal.” Hunt’s description of the white settlement of Tasmania deals with information still not widely known. The decimation of the kangaroo population around Hobart Town deprived the Aborigines of their

favourite food source and conflict over game grew more frequent. The Rev. Knopwood, who happened to perform the wedding of my great great great grandparents, was an enthusiastic contributor to this decimation of wildlife. He was also suspected of assisting bushrangers. Acting as magistrate, he refused to believe Alexander Pearce’s claim that he had eaten the other convicts who had escaped with him. Imprisoned again Pearce escaped, took another young convict and ate him too. He was hanged for this. The genocide of the Tasmanians is just one impressive part of this book. In 1828 The Hobart Town Courier accused “the natives” of having “formed a systematic organized plan of carrying out a war of extermination

against the white inhabitants of the colony.” The Black War resulted in terrible atrocities against the original inhabitants, including one settler collecting ‘the ears of all the blacks he shot’ in a pickle tub. They thus tagged the enemy with the same brush as their own community, full of demands for extermination of the Aborigines. For those uninformed about the early history of our nation, this is a purchase well worth the money. It is of even greater value for those who have absorbed the national myths. The President of Muslims Australia – AFIC , Mr Keysar Trad expressed concern at the inflammatory tone and hurtful remarks by Immigration Minister Peter Dutton directed specifically at the Australian Lebanese Muslim community. Mr Trad said, Mr Dutton should be emulating the initiatives of Hon Malcolm Fraser and focus on programs and projects that bring people together and promote friendship understanding and mutual respect within Australian society. Mr Trad stated in response to the Minister’s comments , the Muslim community is working with young Muslims and their families to strengthen pathways to education, vocational training and employment in order to help young people grow and contribute to society and this beautiful country as responsible law abiding valued citizens.

ANIC CONDEMNS MINISTER DUTTON'S RACIST COMMENTS The Australian National Imams Council (ANIC) condemns the comments made in parliament yesterday by the Minister for Immigration Peter Dutton. The Minister asserted that it was a mistake to allow Lebanese Muslims to migrate to Australia in the 1970s because of the associated problems with terrorism experienced today. The comments are outrageous and serve only to vilify an entire segment of the Australian community. No community deserves to be tarnished by the actions of a very small minority. The ploy of shifting blame exposes the government's abdication of its responsibility to deal effectively with the threat of terrorism. It also confirms the base strategy of pandering to the extreme right within its party.

Mr Trad said: "Today marks the 68th day of independence of the republic of Lebanon, on this auspicious day, I extend an invitation to the Minister to meet and discuss means of cooperation for the betterment of Australia. "

For more than forty years Australian Muslims of Lebanese background have been making significant and positive contributions to society in areas ranging from construction to farming, education, health and much more.

Mr Trad, concluded, “The vast majority of Australian Muslims make enormous contributions to the economic and social wellbeing of this country and are proud Australians.”

ANIC stands firmly against all forms of racism and calls on the Prime Minister to sanction members of his government who seek to undermine community harmony and cohesion.
