NEW AND HAPPENING TODAY Open House Tomorrow, November 28 Join us on Wednesday, November 28, from 1–4 pm in the Yosemite Valley Auditorium for the last open house of 2012. Doors open at 1 pm with a special presentation by the park forester starting at 2 pm. On the night of November 30-December 1, 2011, a wind storm swept through the Sierra Nevada blowing down thousands of trees and impacting trails, roads, and structures. Yosemite National Park Forester Brian Mattos will talk about the widespread effects of the storm and how it compares to other forest disturbances. Additionally, park staff will be on hand to provide informal updates on the status of park projects and plans. As always, entrance fees are waived for those attending the open house. (R.
