POTLUCK Food + System By Alysia Dirks
Back story...... I decided to make this dish because well cooking is new to me. I found the challenge to be an opportunity. My mom has this friend that works at a college as a teacher. She is the foods teacher basically and the recipes were given to my mom. We tried this dish at Thanksgiving and we really loved it so I decided to make this for our class. This dish has no connection to my family what so ever, but it was really fun to make.

The making....
I got out a 3 quart sauce pan and poured the cranberry sauce into the pan.
After putting the can of cranberry sauce into the sauce pan, you put in 8oz of crushed pineapple and a cup of pomagranate juice. You mix them together nicely.
After that you put in on the stove and let it come to a boil while on medium heat. The sauce should thicken.
While the sauce is heating up, you cut a jalapeno pepper and 3 scallions(green onions) into small pieces.
Once the sauce is thickened, you put in the Jalapeno pepper and scallions. Let the sauce sit for ten minutes not on heat.
Dont forget to get out a dish to put the dip in. Underneath the dip there should be 1-2 8oz sticks of cream cheese.
After the 10 minutes are up, pour the sauce over the sticks of cream cheese. Well that is how you make this dip! It is very good warm, better than being cold. Get some Ritz crackers and enjoy!
