Howdy! My name is Alyssa Jade Ross and I am your Division 12 Lieutenant Governor. I am so excited for this upcoming year in key club and I hope we get a lot of service projects in. Before we start the year off, I would like to tell you a little about me. I attend Sulphur High School and I am an upcoming senior. I have been involved with Key Club since I was in 8 th grade and a registered Key Club member for 3 years (going on 4). I was a Builder’s Club member in middle school and this will be my second year on the LaMissTenn District Board. I hope to continue my K-Family journey throughout my life. Key Club is my top priority. This year I plan to: make a newsletter for each month visit each club hold a PCM each month stay in communication make Key Club AWESOME I am so excited for this year! I know we are going to work very hard and have lots of fun! I plan to keep you informed about all the service projects

NBT was held on May 27May 29. We were trained by our Governor, Gabby Murphy, Secretary-Treasurer, Philip Roth, District Administrator, Glenn Borne, and Mr. Smith. Not only did we learn a lot, we also had lots of fun! Key Club WILL BE AWESOME!

Division 12 News Summer Project Ideas!

Key Club Pledge I pledge on my honor to uphold the objects of Key Club International; to build my home, school, and community; to serve my nation and God; and to combat all forces that tend to undermine these institutions.
Clean-Up and Fix-Up Campaign As part of a “clean-up and fix-up” campaign, paint some of the older and larger houses in a rundown area of the city. Set an example for other citizens to follow.
Graffiti Clean-Up Take your club into the school washrooms to clean up the various writings that have accumulated. Repaint the walls if necessary, and encourage the student body to refrain from that kind of vandalism.
Locker Repair Empty lockers can be repaired and painted.
Mail Reading Read mail to the elderly. Contact nursing homes and retirement villages.

With your school administrator’s approval, repaint the gymnasium walls, or teacher’s classrooms.. Ask the school board to supply the paint and Kiwanians to supply the brushes and volunteers.
Paint Trash Barrels In line with a clean-up campaign, paint all the campus trash barrels in the school’s colors.
President’s Council Meeting (PCM) What is a President’s Council Meeting?
A president’s council meeting is a meeting that all of the presidents and advisors from each school in division 12 attend.
Why is attending a PCM important?
Attending a PCM is important because you will be able to know what events are going on in our division, district and international. You will also get to meet other presidents and advisors from other schools that may be able to help you with any problems in your club.
