fierce entrepreneur, hustler and God's servant: Natasha is a student at Carleton University studying Cognitive Science. Born in Zimbabwe and raised in Montreal. She is currently living in Ottawa and is a fashion blogger and an entrepreneur. A fashion, makeup, food lover, she also loves to serve God, using all that she is and has to bring Him glory. To her, fashion is a form of expression. It’s a part of who she is, her identity and she wanted to inspire other people. She did not want them to look and dress like her but to find their own styles, identity, to just be them and be the best of them the same way that she has learned and is still learning to be her. Her only goal was to have a positive impact in people’s lives and to not only inspire but push people to their own destiny as she is discovering her own day by day. She took her time (11 months) to perfect the design of her website until she was satisfied. She wanted it to reflect her. November 23rd, 2016 was the official launch of her website. Being an entrepreneur from such a young age and just growing and growing is one of the things she is most proud of. Getting started on her blog and just staying true to who she is. Her main message is: “That you can unapologetically be you! To embrace who you are and to use that to be a blessing to others because what good am I if I don’t bless anybody?”. She is also a makeup artist (contacts down below), she does wigs, mentoring, coaching and a lot of things that are secrets for now. Her aspirations are just to have an impact not only locally but globally. To show people that you can be beauty and brains and make a difference. To reach her full potential and help others reach theirs.

Being Chic is a State of Mind''

horoscope believer, tea and arts lover, Nene Hassatou Camara mostly known as La Chic Demoiselle is a lifestyle blogger. Originally from Guinea, she was born in Ottawa then lived in different countries. Currently working a part time job and going to university she presents to us her life as a blogger. An art lover, she loves anything that helps her express herself (Photography, Events planning, Interior design…) She loves travelling, encountering new people and seeing other cultures. “By travelling, you get to appreciate every little thing in life.” She also loves tea so much that she does not go a day without drinking tree cups. Anytime she also travels she buys tea from that country. Pushed by her friends because she was getting question such as: Where did you get this? What is the name of that restaurant? She realized she was influencing people and her friends saw that as well. Thus, they pushed her to present herself as a blogger.
themselves. Be simple and authentic. Ever since her launch she opened an online boutique, did some pop up shops (to sell clothes and accessories). She worked with different brands such as: Daniel Wellington, Fran and Oak, some interviews and a conference on social medias. “Not everyone in life has the chance or the power to influence. When you have that use it and pass on a positive message. I was not always a confident person, for a long time I was scared to wear shorts or skirts because I have scars on my legs. Those scars are part of me and they will always be. In life, you have the choice to either hide and never go forward or accept and be grateful for what you have. I love to see women succeed and be confident. There’s nothing sexier than seeing a confident woman.” Henceforth, she sees herself becoming a very famous lifestyle and fashion blogger. La Chic Demoiselle being an international brand. Mostly being happy, having a family that loves and supports her and having kids that are proud of her.
The message she is trying to pass on with her blog is “do whatever you like in life and don’t let anyone tell you that you’re not good enough.” She “Simplicity is the ultimate wants to tell her readers that sophistication.” they should do things because they like them and stay true to

chemical engineer by profession and a fashion stylist by her numerous styles and love for fashion. Wande is that elegant, well-dressed and breathtaking woman you meet walking across town. A goal getter, true to herself and a Christ fanatic. She is passionate about making women look like the best version of themselves, as she believes “when you look good you feel good.” Hence, her love for being a fashion stylist. In the Summer of 2015, her friends told her to start blogging as they thought she had a beautiful sense of style and her personality embodied everything they believed a blogger should be as she is very social and welcoming. Thus, the birth of Styled by Wande. Her work has been the same right from inception as its true to who she is as a person. It’s for the classy grown woman who can rock heels, trainers, shorts and even fish net tights whilst keeping it classy. A woman who commands respect in any room she walks into. Some of her achievements is her receiving DM’s about how inspiring she is an how she has influenced other people’s style positively. Moreover, one month into her debut she styled at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards in New York.
in order to create her own collection(s) with them. In turn, she hopes to use those platforms to train and inspire people on how to always look well put together when dressing up. One of her goals is to inspire confidence through style while reminding women of the importance of self-confidence, self-love and being comfortable in one’s skin. Also, believing in their dreams. We guess, these are simply self-explanatory when it comes to identifying her vision, passion and goal Other than being a fashion stylist, Wande loves seeing the world as she believes the “world is your oyster”. According to her, most people believe travelling is expensive, which can be. However, if planned well it’s quite affordable and one of the most beautiful things to do. Therefore, her goal with her travel VLOGS on her Youtube channel is to inspire people to explore the world as she believes it opens up one’s mind. In addition, to her believing travelling exposes and enlightens people. Wande also believes travelling helps one to see other people’s culture and appreciate it. Lastly, she sees it as an opportunity to see how amazing God’s work is and that honestly humbles her every time.
In the future, she aspires to style her favourite celebrities and to collaborate with brands

to match for who they really are.” This is the feeling that got her to want to really pursue her career as a stylist. She believes everyone, has a mark to make in the world and she wants to ensure that everyone is dressed accordingly. Her friends saw her as a stylist way before she could see it for herself. She always had a love for menswear; thus, she’s always been a dapper woman, dressing up and pleasing herself. Like every other girl that had a black dress and nice heels, she always had her nice
suit and clean oxfords on her feet. Her friends took notice of the distinguished style and started asking for help when they are heading out for weddings and special events. Once she started helping them, she realized how much love they were getting on social media, and they would come back to her with the positive feedbacks. Her friend’s idea came at a pivotal time in her life. She quit her job and was finishing her degree but knew she wouldn't like her career. This was the time to start something new. She dove into the styling world full time with no plan to ever look back. She took it to social medias to announce her new venture. December 12th, 2015 was the birth of: Styledbypaul. Her friends planted a seed (the idea) and everyday she wakes up and waters the seed until it became a plant (She is consistently working hard and learning so-
mething new everyday). Since she goes by her last name, she named it Styledbypaul that made complete sense at the time. She gathered some money to make some business cards and here we are almost 2 years later. The grind never stops! The overwhelming love and support that she has been receiving from everyone: friends, families, clients, acquaintances, supporters, peers, and partners are so far, her best accomplishments. Another great accomplishment is the lifetime connections and the amazing relationships that she was lucky enough to have built with some amazing individuals. She is most proud of having found her true calling and my purpose in this life. She wakes up every day and thank God and the universe for that sense of clarity. Styling is just the beginning for her, it's a passion and career that will get her foot in the door.
Lookout for her website which will be available soon, in the meantime stay tuned on her social medias:
But bigger and better things are to come for the styled by Paul brand. As she specializes in menswear, she styles for events, galas, press events, red carpets. She also works on video and photoshoots. She works with individual’s clients for personal styling, personal shopper, and wardrobe makeover. At this time, she is building Styledbypaul to be a fashion and lifestyle empire in the near future. She aspires to be the most valued and most respected men's stylist in the world. She wants to have her work seen on the top fashion magazine, GQ, vogue, vanity fair, being the top stylist in Hollywood Reporter. She wants to dress the top celebrities and athletes for red carpets. Her dedication to the fashion and beauty industry allowed her parents to finally

However, for Andy, she is nowhere near renouncing the idea and is willing to work twice as hard to continue proving her parents that she deserves their full and unconditional support in the pursuit of her passion. When asked what she thinks of trends, Andy had this to say: “Trends have become so invasive nowadays that it’s so easy to lose yourself in the process of keeping up with them.” On her YouTube page, you can find a variety of content from hair and makeup tutorials, to product reviews. She has become a brand ambassador for vegan brand invu cosmetics and UK based brand Dodo lashes. She encourages everyone to pursue their dream despite the negativity that might surround us. One of her challenges as the first YouTube beauty vlogger from Burkina Faso, was to not only pave the way for herself and others but to also change the mentalities of those who viewed makeup as “la bête noire”, to reassure her audience that makeup was nothing but an incredible piece of art used as a way to express oneself and to boost one’s confidence. As for what advice, she would give to anyone wanting to start a YouTube channel, she says the following: “You need to be focused, free of any kind of intimidation, consistent, patient and passionate about what you’re doing”. She also adds that ‘being yourself’ is what will differentiate your work as the audience loves a unique and authentic YouTuber. Today she can have the chance to attend Fashion School which would have not been possible, had she just sat on her dreams. “We push till we make it!” she concluded.
