Another year, another photoshoot! It’s Rhion’s 2nd birthday, and what better way to celebrate than with a fun themed photoshoot! “Breakfast At Tiffany’s” is the chosen theme this year, and what a fun shoot it was! The sassy black dress, sparkling Mary Jane’s topped off with classy pearls, dark shades, and the signature diamond tiara! This fun shoot was on location at the actual Tiffany, & Co. store... at breakfast! Hows that with the keeping it authentic? The little birthday girl gave her best poses and “cheeses” capturing the funny spirit of the “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” movie (a must watch if you haven’t seen it!) Though she didn’t have a donut and coffee like Mrs. Audrey Hepburn, Rhion kept it “kiddie” with her Tiffany’s blue lollipop! Hey, what do you expect? She’s to little to drink coffee! The inspiration for her handmade dress, was to capture the playfulness of a toddler. Audrey Hepburn or “Holly Golightly” wore a slim and sleek cocktail dress. Since Rhion is 2, she needed room to run and play, so I kept it playful in a “circle skirt” dress layered with a lot of cheeky tulle. I kept the bodice of the dress as a tribute to Audrey Hepburn’s iconic black dress. Slim, sleek, and chic. As I started to make gloves for the look, I thought about it and then I stopped. A toddler is not going to want to be tied down to gloves! She’s going to want to take them off before I have a chance to put the other one on! So, I decided to just scrap the gloves! I made the perfect little bracelet and pearl necklace, then topped it off with her diamond tiara, and dark shades, that she fell in love with by the way! Through out the different locations, she made sure to put on the sunglasses herself! Rhion was such a good sport during the shoot. I think she’s officially used to mommy putting the camera in her face! Here’s to next years theme and shoot! Something I think I’m going to continue to do every year!
