what is cage? Cage is a an online collaboration tool that makes it simple for designers, teams and clients to share, organize, manage, and approve creative work. It streamlines communication, making it easy to give and receive feedback, and make revisions on creative projects. Using Cage is much more straightforward than having several back-and-forth email conversations when designing creatives.

dashboard The Cage Dashboard provides you with a snaphot of the projects that have been shared with you.
You can also see which projects have been shared with you.
You can mouse over the thumbnails to see the number of notes, views, and which versions of the projects have been approved (in this case, the approved creative versions are highlighted in orange).

The Cage Dashboard also allows you to stream across all projects.
It provides of a summary of the view and annotation activities carried out by those who have access to the project. Approval activity is also tracked and shown.

tasks The Cage Task tab shows you a calendar view of all the tasks lined up for you.
You can also preview a list of tasks shared with you using the “task list� option.

projects The Cage Projects tab summarizes list of projects that have been shared with you. Click to view the individual projects.
Again, you can stream across all projects and see all the recent activity.

B. HOW TO USE

step 1: sign up The creative director will invite you to a specific project so that you can collaborate on it, or start giving your comments and requests for revisions. An email will be sent to you. Click the link in the email to sign up with Cage.

step 2: view/upload Go straight to the project dashboard page, where the title of the project is visible. This is where all activity for that project will take place.
Here, you can either upload a new project version document, or click to view an existing one. 10
step 3: comment Click the project file and start leaving your feedback on the creatives. Click and drag anywhere on the document to highlight a specific part that you want amended.
The feedback shows up as numbered circles for easy viewing. Click to read. 11
step 4: edit/revise The creative team can now view all comments and upload new revisions according to the feedback. Under the revisions tab, all versions of that project are also viewable.

step 5: approve Once the client is satisfied with the revised creatives, he/she can click the “mark as approved� button on the document screen.
A stamp of approval will appear on the document. Approved project versions are marked in orange. 13
