PRIVATE GARDEN

When I mention Private Garden, I’m not referring to someone’s private garden but to the latest Rock trio who are causing a bit of a stir on the island’s music scene. Believe me, when you see them perform you will see that there is nothing private about their feelings towards their music. The band formed in 2019 and is the result of three talented musicians. All have impressive resumes, involved with different projects but passionate enough to create this new dynamic band. Their authentic and quality sound is classed as alternative Rock - a powerful blend of Garage, Rock, Grunge and Blues Rock with deep heavy riffs, bluesy gravely vocals and drum grooves. The mastership of their instruments results in songs which are exceptional in their chosen genre, producing foot stomping tunes and feel-good rhythm. They can be easily mistaken to originate from Nashville and not Cyprus and would go down a storm in America. Their debut EP titled ‘MR TV’ which has four tracks is ready to be released. Earlier in October their new music video for the single, Liza, was released and has already hit 35,000 views on YouTube, proving just how good they are. I was fortunate enough to see them perform a couple of times recently and pleased to see them being booked at venues island wide and attracting the attention they deserve. talent. The island is flourishing with many talented musicians and ten of these have been chosen to participate. Some events refuse to be beaten and react in a positive way by re-inventing itself and giving us FENGAROS REACTS. Determination, passion, and love for music of different genres drives the organizers to continue, even though not in its physical format, allowing local Cypriot acts the opportunity to perform and share a platform accessible by many. Due to the success and outpour for support for Fengaros Reacts 1 earlier in the 2021, Part 2 will be airing between the 2nd to the 21st November.
