Our Mission The mission of the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada is to enlighten the public by promoting a positive understanding of Down syndrome in the community and be a source of support, information and education for families and individuals affected by Down syndrome.

About Down Syndrome • Down syndrome is a chromosomal disorder that can cause delays in physical, intellectual and language development.
Members of DSOSN create baskets for new parents that include:

• Baby supplies such as diapers, bottles, books and more.

The Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada is recognized as the leading expert and voice in Nevada for all people affected by Down syndrome. DSOSN is the only organization in the region devoted exclusively to the needs of people with Down syndrome and their families.
