RESIDENTIAL DESIGN PROJECT

During a Residential Studio Course I learned how to conduct the design process from scratch for a client. This project centered around meeting client needs and how to communicate with your clients to make sure the right questions are asked to prevent any miscommunication during construction and final design process. I devised a client questionnaire to understand the client’s needs and goals for the space.

I also learned how to price out lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and furniture. I was given a budget to adhere to gain real life experience with budgets. This project is a two story home with four bedrooms and I designed everything from the exterior to the interior.
