Project 01-02 -03 -04 -05-06-07

Project Goal -

To celebrate a family gathering in the form of a picnic. To establish this pop up shop is to provide the users with an enjoyable experience. I want my client to have a fun experience. The new pop up shop will be at 359 Grant Street, San Francisco, CA. It will sell a limited edition of colored denim jeans only. The denim will be for women, men, as well as kids. Furthermore, for the design in the interior of the store, you will find a reflected mirror area in the center with a large sculpture of a tree, because I want to reflect all my concept in the mirror. You can see the sky, trees, and the flying mannequins. The ceiling is a big picture or sky to make the client feel relaxed and fresh. The floor is made of natural wood materials to instill in my client the presence of Mother Nature in the space. My mannequin is flying around the central tree exhibiting enjoyment and happiness. Over on the right side of the store you will find a space that look like a picnic space with store flat trees and bicycles, along with benches for extra seating. My fixture design that is related to my concept are 3D words such as ‘Fun’, ‘Joy’, ‘Happy’, ‘Family’, ‘Share’ and ‘Care’, to hang the denim products on. I designed four fitting rooms to enable my users to change in privacy. I wanted to keep the lights as simple as I could because I did not want to disturb the client with bright lights or overbearing lighting structures. Instead, I have designed some spotlights and a central cloud light fixture.
