| Mi concepción de la Arquitectura se basa en mi experiencia profesional en proyectos internacionales de gran escala, así como en mi decisión de estudiar en distintos países. Trabajar en varias empresas y países me ha provisto con las capacidades necesarias para desarrollar mi trabajo con organización, rapidez y exactitud. Mi papel incluye la participación en las sucesivas fases del Proyecto desde el Concepto hasta la Construcción, tomando parte activa en el diseño así como en la coordinación con el resto de disciplinas. También formo parte del equipo de Gestión, y participo activamente en la Gestión y comunicación con los Clientes. Tengo una amplia formación gráfica en CAD y visualización, y una amplia experiencia en proyectos de gran escala desarrollados íntegramente en Revit (plataforma BIM). Siempre busco el equilibrio entre el diseño y la técnica. My role includes participating in the successive project stages from Concept through Construction Documents, taking part in the design issues as well as in the coordination with other disciplines involved. I also co-work with the Management team, and participate on Client assistance. I have a strong background in CAD and Visualization, and wide experience in large projects developed in Revit (BIM platform). I always try to reach a balance between design and technique. Una vez obtenido mi Título, pasé 5 años en una de las principales multinacionales del sector de la construcción, lo que me permitió participar en proyectos de gran escala en todo el mundo. En 2018 participé en la renovación integral del centro comercial más grande de Rusia. | MERCADO CENTRAL | CENTRAL MARKET | | Situado en un distrito del sur de Madrid que históricamente se ha visto desplazado tanto sociológica como turísticamente, se eleva el Centro Culinario y Mercado Central. Un volumen elevado aloja la escuela de cocina, y libera la planta baja para alojar el mercado, con un carácter mucho más público. El volumen de la escuela se construye como un anillo, y su vació central se llena tan solo en planta baja, creando un espacio donde mercado y escuela conviven. | | Located in a southern district of Madrid, which has been historically degraded both sociological and touristically, arises an International Reference Centre of Spanish Cuisine. An elevated volume contains the Culinary School; it raises and leaves a free ground floor, which is characterized for its public nature, and therefore it is where the Local Market is. This volume is built as a ring, with a bearing structure made of wall-trusses. The central void creates an open space at ground floor that bring together the market and the school. |

| THE KNOT | | Este proyecto es una investigación sobre los procesos de diseño en la Arquitectura, sobre el uso de nuevas formas de expresión y representación (estados mentales, poesía...) dentro de la corriente arquitectónica conocida como Fenomenológica apadrinada por Juhani Pallasmaa y Steven Holl. El edificio se basa en los Cinco Estados de la pena (negación, enfado, negociación, depresión y aceptación) de la psiquiatra Elizabeth Kubler-Ross. Cada estado se traslada a elementos y espacios arquitectónicos. Este proyecto es un estudio del rol social de la Arquitectura, y de cómo una experiencia individual puede convertirse en universal. | | This is a research project about the design process in Architecture, about the use of new ways of expression and representation (mental states, poetry...) whithin the Architectural trend known as Phenomenological, supported mainly by Juhani Pallasmaa and Steven Holl. The building is based on the Five Stages of grief (denial, anger, negotiation, depression, acceptance) developed by psichiatrist Elizabeth Kubler-Ross. Each stage is translated into architectural elements. This is a study of the social role of architecture, and the way to turn an individual experience into a universal one. |

| CHICAGO ENTRY PAVILION | | 4 volúmenes, cada uno con un programa diferente (administración, exposición, recepción y sala de conferencias) rotan alrededor de un espacio central que vertebra todo el proyecto. Todos los espacios se unifican bajo una cubierta permeable que permite que la luz la atraviese. Mientras el plano de la cubierta permanece constante, el plano del suelo varía en cada volumen para crear relaciones diferentes con el espacio central. Los volúmenes tienen diferentes grados de opacidad, lo que representa el tránsito del lago a la ciudad. | | 4 volumes, each one with a different function (administration, exhibition, reception and lecture hall), rotate around a central space that organizes the project. All spaces are unified under a permeable roof that allows the light to go through it. While the plane of the roof stays constant, the ground plane moves up and down in the different volumes, to create differen relationships with the central space. The volumes have different lighting gradients from opaque to transparent, aligning with the transition from the Lake to the City. |

Nos encontramos con una serie de cajas autoportantes construidas con cerchas perimetrales que transmiten sus cargas a través de los planos verticales. Cada caja alberga un uso único y diferente, de modo que no existen particiones interiores sino solo fachadas. Las cajas se apoyan unas sobre otras, y de esta manera el proyecto crece desde los usos más públicos en las plantas inferiores a los más privados en los niveles superiores. | | “Using the cinema as a prism through which thinking about the city”. This is a series of self-supporting boxes, built with perimeter trusses that transmit their loads through the vertical planes. Each one encloses a different function. There are no interior partitions, each box is a single space. Boxes lay on top of each other and the project grows from the more public spaces at the basement to the more private ones at the top levels. |

| MUSEO DEL RÍO | RIVER MUSEUM | | El proyecto se asienta en el río, con unas vistas impecables del palacio de Aranjuez. Un edificio icónico hubiese perturbado el ámbito natural, y hubiera competido con el Palacio. En vez de eso, esta serie de piezas ligeras crecen como las células de un tejido orgánico. Algunas de ellas incluso se separan del plano del suelo para permitir la libre circulación. Todas ellas se cubren con una piel de policarbonato que los convierte en emisores de luz durante la noche. Cada una se construye por la revolución de una misma costilla estructural. Estas burbujas descansan ligeras en los márgenes del río. | | The project aims to sit by the river with excelent views to the palace of Aranjuez. An iconic building would have disturbed the natural surroundings, and compete with the palace; instead, this series of light pieces grow as the cells of an organic tissue. Some of them raise from the ground floor to aloow the circulation. They are all covered in a polycarbonate skin that turns them into light emissors. Each one is built by the revolution of a differend steel rib. These bubbles rest lightly on the river banks. |

| ARQUITECTURA TEXTIL | FABRIC ARCHITECTURE | | El diseño se basa en una estrella de 8 puntas. El perímetro se construye con vigas de madera a las que se ancla la tela. La tela queda reforzada por 8 catenarias superiores y 8 inferioes, que unen los vértices al centro. Para reforzar la anticlasticidad (característica principal de la arquitectura textil), hay un hueco en el centro del octógono, construido con un anillo metálico que cuelga de las catenarias. El patrón de la tela sigue la dirección de los cables, y cada uno de los 16 sectores se divide en 6 piezas para cumplir con el mínimo permitido por el ancho del rollo de tela. | | The project is based on an eight-pointed star. The perimeter is built with wooden poles, and the fabric is fixed to them. Fabric is reinforced by 8 inferior catenaries and 8 superior ones, linking the edges to the centre. To reinforce the anticlasticity (main characteristic for the fabric constructions), there is an opening in the very center of the octagon, built with a ring hung from the catenaries. The pattern design follows cable directions, and each of the 16 sectors is divided into 6 pieces, the minimmum allowed as per the fabric roll width. |

| VISUALIZACIÓN | VISUALIZATION WORKS | | Como herramienta de diseño en los proyectos de arquitectura e interiorismo, una de las maneras más efectivas hoy en día a la hora de transmitir los conceptos e ideas a los clientes es a través de visualizaciones. Tanto de una manera más conceptual (para concursos) o una más realista, es una manera de aprovechar las últimas tecnologías para hacer más fácil la toma de decisiones. La mayoría de ellas han sido generadas mediante el software Enscape integrado en Revit y postproducción en Adobe Photoshop. | | One of the most powerful tools that we have nowadays to transmit our ideas to clients is through visualization. Either in a more conceptual way (for contests) or in a realistic one, it’s a way to use the technology to ease the process of decision-taking. Most of them have been developed in Enscape and Revit, and edited in Adobe Photoshop. |
