Through music concerts, messages and musical tastes can be communicated through audio, visual and aural media. But sadly, there are only a few music concert facilities that accommodate performers and spectators with disabilities to be able to enjoy activities optimally and independently. Along with this, architecture has the ability to become a medium of communication to convey more meaning than what is displayed, especially it can be understood and experienced through sensory experience. Sensoric Design approach is applied to provide more complete and equal space exploration experience for visitors with disabilities and visitors in general. Optimization of design objects towards sensory design focuses on the elements of DeafSpace. The concept of Walls' Music is defined as a major concept and is applied to the formal architectural and technical design of the design object. The result of the design is a massive and dynamic mass composition in accordance with the analogy of music. Also, the auditorium interior maximizes visual sensory, such as intervention in wall materials that can receive light projection, and aural, such as empty nuances by increasing voids in the room.

The main attraction is in the building that is above the residents' house which is useful as a resting place for tourists. To get there, tourists must enter the alleys of the village and interact with the villagers.

LAKARSANTRI URBAN FARMING & MARKET 3rd Year Academic Project | Studio 2019
Agricultural land in Surabaya is decreasing drastically due to housing development. while there are still many residents on the outskirts of Surabaya who only have the ability to farm. on the other hand, the food needs of the people of Surabaya are very high, but Surabaya is not able to accommodate their own needs but by supplying vegetables from various surrounding areas. this is related to a longer carbon footprint and it is not a good thing to let it go. Horizontal agricultural land in lakarsantri is decreasing, for this reason vertical urban farming buildings are presented to increase the total area of agricultural land. while still using the ground floor as traditional agricultural land. This building also has a buying and selling area, to keep vegetables fresh and not add to the carbon footprint

However, this residence is not only intended for rent but also as the main residence of the owner. thus, requires 2 separate areas. First, the lower area, used as the owner's main house. Then the upper area or the second floor is designed to have many rooms for rent. It’s located in the corner, opens the potential for the house to have 2 different entrances, front and side. Front door for owner, side door for tenant. Then, as if this house has 2 faces (entrance).
