TOOTH STICKS Tooth sticks were invented millions of years ago by our African ancestors. First, trunks are cut and prepared for the next processes; secondly, the bark from the timber is removed by a sander machine. Next, the trunk is cut in form of thin slices with a cutting machine; next, the slices are cut with the shape of tooth sticks by a special machine. Then, the tooth stick is sharpened by a sharpening machine and the tooth sticks are packaged in little boxes. Finally the tooth sticks are used by people who play “guiñote”, the people who have been using that for years in the typical Spanish bar. They are made of cherry-wood : “cerezo” in Spanish.

A standard ice-hockey puck is black so it can be seen easily on the white ice; it is 25 mm. thick, 76 mm. in diameter and weighs between 160g or 170g. In the 90’s, a smart puck was invented by “The Fox” to follow its fast movements in television. First, vulcanized rubber is put in the mold. Later the shape is made perfect, refined. Then, the puck is cut to give the form of a hockey puck. Pucks have been collected by my friends and me since 2000.

The golden ball was designed by the Mellerios family some 60 years ago.
The golden ball is often referred to as the European Footballer of the Year Award, and it was an annual Association Football Award.
It was presented to the player who had been voted as the best over the previous year.
