ALL NEW FLY-IN ADVENTURE EXPLORATORY FISHING TRIPS IN BEAUTIFUL GUYANA, SOUTH AMERICA “Amazon-Angler.com grows from strength to strength with even more great trips deep into the wilds of the Amazon Rainforest in Guyana”.

With new partners in Guyana, AmazonAngler.com can now offer some of the most amazing fishing trips in freshwater. Flying anglers deep into the jungle into army outposts and Amerinian village airstrips, we are able to reach watersheds that have previously been totally inaccessible to us.

“Rivers that have never been fished before by any white man ……..” Our newest destinations have NEVER been fished before by any white man and we have the privilege of being the first to wet a rod and line in the bountiful waters.

JAGUAR EXPLORER CAMP TRIP Our new Jaguar Explorer Camp trips are set in the far flung jungle rivers in the South of Guyana, flowing from the Guyana Shield mountainous areas backing onto Brazil.

With literally hundreds of miles of virgin water for us to explore and discover, our mobile camp will move every two days to give our anglers the best opportunity to catch as many big species as they can.

IN SEARCH OF RIVER MONSTERS ……………. Our newest destinations have NEVER been fished before by any white man and we have the privilege of being the first to wet a rod and line in the bountiful waters.

“Fish of enormous proportions dwell in these pristine waters” Our local Amerindian scouts insist that Catfish and Arapaimas of enormous proportions dwell in these waters and that “no rod can handle them”.

….. “Well, that’s a challenge we’re willing to accept”!

“Predators galore to stretch your string, on lures, jigs, flies and bait ……”

Not only do we have huge Cats and monster Arapaima, we also have even more big predators to tussle with. Peacock Bass, Payara/Vampire Fish, monster Wolf Fish, Drum, Bicuda, big Black Piranha and much more, you name it, we got it!

PIRARUCU EXPLORER CAMP TRIP

Our new Pirarucu Explorer Camp trips are set at the base of the Pakaraima Mountains in Southern Guyana running through jungle and savannah to provide our anglers with the best Arapaima and multi-species fishing available in Guyana.

These waters have only ever been fished by local Amerindians for sustinence food and we have made a partnership with one of their local villages to use only their own guides and resources. This watershed has so much potential as a sustainable sport fishery and we are working with the local people to provide them with the oppoortunity to use this wonderful resource and protect it for future generations to come.

“HUGE Arapaimas …. here we go”! Primarily an Arapaima fishery, we have set rules to maintain a healthy stock of these huge prehistoric river monsters. Our anglers will each be allowed to catch only 5-6 specimen Arapaimas during their trip. Using either flies, lures or even livebaits, ALL hooks will be single and barbless, even circle hooks.

There are plenty of lakes and ponds off the main river system that are loaded with Arapaima to 300lbs+

“Cats, predators and more predators ……”

There are even more predatory fish than you could ‘shake a stick at’ in this picturesque watershed. Our anglers will be able to target Jau, Lau, Redtails, Tiger and Leopard Cats … the list goes on.

Peacock Bass, Wolf Fish, Payara, Bicuda, Drum, Piranhas, Arowana and more can be targeted on flies, jigs, lures etc.

SAFARI-STYLE CAMPING ….. Our mobile camps will roam these new rivers constantly on the prowl for good water and great fishing. We will set up our spacious, individual rain/insect-proof ‘Army’ tents under trees on the beach and a separate area will be screened off for bathroom facilities. Our anglers can either bathe in the river or in our propane heated jungle shower. Laundry will be made daily.

“Did you say the best steaks in the jungle”? With a generator and big freezers, our ‘safari’ kitchen will supply the most delicious breakfasts, with cereal, eggs, bacon, sausages, fruits and homemade breads, and dinners with South African -style ‘Braais’ with meats, sausages and even biltong for snacks on the boat.

“What ….. And the coldest beers ever”?

The beer and other beverages are always ice cold and available 24/7.
