Florence Knoll: Lecture Poster
Medium: Poster 36x21 This poster was designed with Florence Knoll’s design philosophy in mind. Knoll focused on how the space she was given to work with effected what she was putting in it; she did not force things to fit where they did not but simply let things fall into place. Her approach to interior design created clean, sophisticated spaces.

Bike Walk KC: Family Time
Medium: Poster 18x22 This poster was created to promote biking for a specific demographic. I choose to target mothers who were interested in finding a fun and healthy activity to do with their families. I wanted to create a fun and playful environment, one that you could picture yourself being in, I did this by building a 3D set. I used bright, fun colors to connote joy and happiness. With the use of a tandem bike, I was able to show the family aspect.

Poetry Book: Gertrude Stein
This book, displaying the poetry of Gertrude Stein, does not stress a need to find clear meaning to her poetry. The Poetry of Stein is very open to interpretation. Through the use of word searches the book gains a sense of whimsy and gives the reader a fun experience with the poetry. The use of a solution page gives the viewer the chance to read the poem through after they have been able to interact with the book.
