Hello. I am Autumn Cannon, CEO of Autumnmore’. I began making jewelry in 2007, as I was going through one of the biggest storms in my life. ccording to oxforddictionaries.com, cycles are a series of events that are regularly repeated in the same order, a complete set or series, and move in or follow a regularly repeated sequences of events. Cycles will be in place until the end of life. It’s not about breaking the cycles in life, it’s about changing them. Just as the Earth is round and rotates in cycles, so does our life. Just as wedding bands are symbolic of continuous circles of love, a vow made to commit to one another for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, etc. A covenant. God made a covenant. Everything seems to function in cycles. There’s a life cycle for plants,

animals, the atmosphere, humankind, the solar system, etc. The life cycle of a plant initially starts as a seed, then it germinates and grows into a plant, producing flowers. The flowers are fertilized and produce seeds in a fruit. When the plant dies, it leaves seeds, which germinate and produce new plants. Cycles. Just as the life cycle of a plant start in seed form, the same is true of the life cycle of

humankind. Humankind starts in seed form; sperm and egg. In addition to the overall cycle of life, we all go through individual cycles. All throughout our lives, we deal with cycles: financial cycles, personal cycles, drama cycles, generational cycles, spiritual cycles, mental cycles, emotional cycles and relational cycles, just to name a few. Cycles exist and we cannot change that. I believe its how things are set in motion by God. It’s God’s design. So, cycles it is. Now the main question should not be pertaining to why you are going through cycles, but rather, how to change the course of a cycle. Given the concept of cycles, I don’t believe they can be broken, but rather changed. The theme of cycles is seen all throughout the bible. The concept of reaping and sowing, which is a cycle, is all throughout both the Old and New Testament. Oh yeah, don’t forget the entire bible is filled with cycles of God restoring humankind back to right relationships with Himself. There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1 Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows he will also reap, because the one who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit. So, we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up. – Galatians 6:7-9 The one who sows injustice will reap disaster, and the rod of his fury will be destroyed. – Proverbs 22:8 Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy. – Psalm 126:5 Isaac sowed seed in that land, and in that year, he reaped a hundred times what was sown. – Genesis 26:12 But I have this against you: You have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember then how far you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. – Revelation 2:4-5 As I studied various chapters in the bible, I noticed a cycle that the Israelites subconsciously followed. It’s seen all throughout history, and I believe the same format exist in many of our lives today. Cycles can be both good and bad, positive and negative. This study is designed to equip you with the tools needed to change the

If you’re feeling a little convicted thinking about all the promises or vows you’ve made to the Lord that you didn’t keep, it’s not too late to change the course of the cycle. Personalize IT! Building on to the Personalize IT in Phase 3, continue your story. What consequences or trials have you experienced since the decision to self-manage your life? If you are unaware of any, it’s okay. Perhaps the Lord chose to hold them, delay them, retract them or turn from them… Only He knows.

So, where’s the reset button? How do we change the cycle so that we live a life of reaping and sowing blessings instead of reaping and sowing consequences? depths shook. The clouds poured down water. The storm clouds thundered; Your arrows flashed back and forth. The sound of Your thunder was in the whirlwind; lightning lit up the world. The earth shook and quaked. Your way went through the sea and Your path through the great waters, but Your footprints were unseen. You led Your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.”

When dealing with pain, trials, consequences and life, isn’t this how we typically feel? Trials often leave us feeling like God has changed — as if He is purposefully withholding His favor from us. Though you may have a moment of these thoughts, you can’t allow yourself to sit in them. You must pick yourself up and forge ahead. So, where’s the reset button? How do we change the cycle so that we live a life reaping and sowing blessings instead of reaping and sowing consequences? • They cry out … • The Lord sends ... • They forget ... • The Lord hands ... It’s imperative that the pivot point takes place in Phase 2: “The Lord sends.” When the Lord sends relief, help or a way out, take notes. It’s really important that you remember what the Lord has done and worship Him. Remembering increases faith. He is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. God does not change; we do. We often see the same cycles. The question is, what would you like them to produce — consequences or blessings? “I will remember the Lord’s work; yes, I will remember Your ancient wonders; You revealed Your strength among the peoples. With power You redeemed Your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph. Selah the waters saw You, God. The waters saw You; they trembled. Even the

Episode 2 / THE UNCOUNSELED COUCH The Uncounseled Couch gives individuals a public platform to tell their story through sequential articles found in each issue of Ambulation. Do you realize the power of your verbal and written confession? Countless religious leaders, therapist, counselors, psychologist, psychiatrist, mental health professionals, and life coaches all attest to the same theme; any type of open and truthful disclosure reduces stress and helps individuals come to terms with their behavior.

One word: Transparency. Transparent living

is simply living a life free of pretense or deceit. Often times, it’s difficult to speak our transparent truths. In order to equip each guest with the tools needed to address uncounseled issues, our guest are encouraged to counseling and engage in activities that promote healing, reconciliation, rest, and restoration. There is strong evidence that suggest that when individuals write about events that have

Releasing can enhance a person’s quality of life through mental and physical wellbeing.

The Uncounseled Couch is geared towards aiding individuals by ambulating alongside them through the process. To the brave individuals who have invited us into their lives through the sharing of their testimony, Thank you! As believers, the bible says that we are overcomers. Well, that’s what I thought anyway.

I didn’t even realize what I was doing by taking a chance of keeping such a secret from everyone. I definitely had a hard time keeping my mouth shut about the times I spent with Dillon to Sherry, my best friend. I had so much excitement and curiosity running through my mind and my body, but I also kept having God trying to tell me, “No!” I was naive, but I always smart enough to know this is not an okay secret. I knew God was constantly trying to get through to me, as my heart would beat so fast each moment I thought about my mom. “What’s going to happen if my mom finds out about us? I don’t want to get Dillon in trouble over me. Uh, hello! Listen to yourself! Are you crazy?!” I know it’s God trying to speak to me, reminding me not to go this way and have the courage to let Dillon go. Dillon knew the right things to say to me. He is a con man, and literally a convicted felon, who always had me hanging on every word he said to me. He was like an angel to me. Dillon was opening my eyes to a whole other world outside my little sheltered brain. It’s our dirty little secret.

resurrection from the dead, He proved beyond doubt that He can rightfully promise eternal life and life abundantly right here on Earth. The foremost business that brought Jesus into this world was His death and resurrection, and from His death and resurrection flow all of God’s blessings He ever has lavished or ever will lavish on man. When we seek to fully understand what Jesus accomplished by His death and resurrection, and have faith in the “finished” work of the cross, a true believer will know the only way we can “throw out the trash” in our life and the lives of others is by knowing Jesus, the Word, who took away our sins by becoming sin for us on the cross. There is no one else… there is nothing else… there is no other way that we can be saved and have the trash removed from us — only Jesus. When we have a relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, a true believer would “throw out the trash” of sin and every form of wickedness by the Word of God through repentance. When we make mistakes, when we sin, we have an advocate in Jesus Christ, whose blood God sees on the doorpost of our heart, death passes over. In Romans chapter 7, Paul tells us: “That that I want to do, I don’t, and that that I should not do, I do…. who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! All our righteousness is as filthy rags — trash! But, through Jesus Christ, by faith, we are made the righteousness of God. That is how God looks at us, through Jesus Christ. Shall we continue in sin that Grace may abound? God forbid! No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in so that He might receive us into full fellowship.
