The award Garrett and Mike hold most dear is The Houston Chronicle’s “Top Workplace Award.” We have won this award for 12 consecutive years! It is based on an anonymous survey of our own employees. Each year we look forward to dissecting the results and have always found ways to utilize this feedback to improve and grow.

Frontline Worker Recognition

Giving back definitely defines our spirit at AmCap. During Covid one of our company’s most heartwarming projects was allowing employees to nominate frontline workers. Then we sent that employee a check so they were able to hand-deliver them to their nominees:

AmCap Legacy Club

In recent years we’ve kicked off a campaign to show gratitude to our more tenured employees. We hosted a dinner where everyone got to customize a pair of Converse shoes. Coining the group “AmCap Legacy Club”, we will host this event annually to celebrate more people each year.

More Than Mortgage Emergency Fund

Cassie Croft, our Director of Corporate Giving, is the heart & soul of our AmCap Gives Back projects. She is a licensed social worker that provides all kinds of support to distressed employees in times of need. She has seen it all from navigating frozen, broken pipes to automobile repairs to parenting help for families in crisis. Not only is she a wonderful resource, but she will also help any individual apply for help through our More Than Mortgage Emergency Fund. This was established after Hurricane Harvey when we had so many employees in extreme need. Garrett and Mike wanted a plan in place for not only the next natural disaster, but everyday emergencies.

Your True Partner Community

The Your True Partner Community is how we refer to all our DBA partners. The More Than Mortgage website is where you can see all the perks that can benefit everyone under the AmCap Mortgage, LTD. umbrella. This website features programs like: The Your True Partner Honor Society (which is 3 different scholarships we offer), the Salary Continuation Plan and our Gives Back Day, just to highlight a few.

Gives Back Day

Gives Back Day is a day we intentionally set aside across the country to give back to individual communities. It has easily become everyone’s favorite day of the year.
