with backwards and forwards understanding and research of our insects, the new perception of what is known as a “house” has completely shifted to see other forms of habitation. The blowfly, a repulsive little creature, lives in the stinch of plants and meat, allowing for the analyzation of different materials and details to best display the life and home of this insect.

H YOGA AS A TRADITIONAL AND BENEFICIAL WAY OF SERENITY, IT IS NEEDED MAINTAIN A QUIET ENVIRONMENT THAT PROVIDES COMFORT AND SECLUSION. E TO EXTENSIVE RESEARCH AND EVALUATION OF THE SITE LOCATED IN NORMAN, LAHOMA FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS YOGA CENTER, THERE ARE MANY FACTORS AT WOULD AFFECT THE SOLE DESIGN OF THE STRUCTURE. WHAT NEEDS TO BE PHASIZED IS THAT THE ORIGIN OF YOGA WHERE IT PUSHES THE BREAKAGE OF E TIES OF OUR PHYSICAL EXISTENCE AND RATHER FOCUS ON CLEANSING THE DY AND MIND. WITH THAT, ONE CAN BECOME ONE WITH THE GROUND AND ACE. IN THIS SITE, THE MAIN FOCUS OF THE PRACTICE HAS TO BE CLEAR IN RMS OF WHAT WILL HELP ONE BE CONNECTED TO NATURE AND REMAIN SELFCUSED. WITH THAT BEING SAID, THE ELEMENTS OF SOIL, LIGHT, AND DIRECTION VIEW CAN PLAY A LARGE ROLE INTO THE DESIGN ELEMENTS NEEDED.

TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE NATURAL CANOPIES OF TREES CAN ALLOW THE DIFFUSION AND INTRICACY OF LIGHT IN A SERENE WAY. THIS COULD POSSIBLY BE ACHIEVED THROUGH THE USE OF NATURAL MATERIALS THAT ALLOW SPECIFIC ENTRIES OF LIGHT. FURTHERMORE, DUE TO THE TOUGH SOILS OF SAND AND CLAY, THERE COULD BE IDEAS TO ELEVATE, CANTILEVER, OR STACK THE BUILDING TO ACHIEVE FUNCTIONALITY AND A DELICATE FORM. WITH ADDITIONAL BENEFITS INCLUDING A CREEK, LARGE AREA OF GRASSLAND, AND A HORIZON OF VARYING TREE SPECIES, TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE VIEW AS PART OF THE DESIGN CAN HELP FURTHER ACHIEVE SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND TRANQUILITY INITIATED BY THE TRADITIONS OF YOGA.

the journey through the main axials points along the grid leads visitors to educate themselves on resilience as th building itself. The orientation and shaping allows for interesting passive stategies such as openings to corridors in intriguing forms of lights. The viewing decks, courtyards, and display areas are interconnected to perform int together. With views such as a creek and horizon of varying trees, this advantage influences materiality of the ex to connect their surroudnings with the landscape. The use of a water harvesting system integrated in the structu Bernoulli Effect, evaporative cooling, and the manipulation of topography are all influenced and designed throu the structure to connect to the site, its natural systems, and for people to experience the design elements for ene
