Aaron Mittman

Tulane University's School of Architecture sparked a personal and professional desire to constantly push design. Using digital technology to aid form generation, the limits of what is possible to construct expands. In practice, I believe religious architecture and spiritual/meditative spaces challenge the architect to create something "greater"—pushing the designer to build truly innovative, unique and remarkable work. My professional experience and design strengths do not limit me to architecture; my digital-artistic background ranges from hand drawing, watercolor and ink-on-Mylar to CAD, Revit, Photoshop and Illustrator. Recently, I branched out to Maya and animating form—applied to architecture and design. Architectural theory, graphic design and web design are other fields that are exciting to work and thrive in. By continuing to learn design and construction techniques, I can become a valuable contributor in any field and an indispensable resource for my employers as a designer.
