Technical data– Vinnyflex Heating foil 230V Construction

Floor heating/comfort heating / thin floors. For installation under all types of floor coverings.

Vinnyflex consists of a semi‐conductive carbon solution, put in stripes on a thin plastic foil. The stripes are laying between two supply bus‐bars of thin rolled silver‐plated copper. Then it is laminated and the result is a transparent strong foil.

Rated voltage ...................... 220‐240 V via ELCB Surface power. .................... 55 / 45W / m² Installation under clinker .... 55 W / m² Other types of installation .. 45 W / m² Building‐height foil.............. min 0,2mm Building‐height connections min 5 mm (55 x 55mm) Width of foil ........................ 600 / 300 mm

Effective surface ................. 540 / 240 mm (Which allows a margin of 25mm to be overlapped in order to adapt the width)

Installation When installing under ceramic tiles: The foil is mounted by means of carpet glue of the "Cascoflex" type against a clean subfloor (when the material is of the absorbing type it should be primed) without sharp edges and protruding objects. When installing under parquet/laminate floors: Vinnyflex is laid on a carefully cleaned subfloor (without protruding screw heads and sharp edges) and fixed by using the pre‐fixed double adhesive tape under the foil. Base material and floor is laid in the usual way. When installing under carpets/soft floor coverings: Vinnyflex is installed in the same way as under parquet floor, but thereafter a gypsum board (of such a thickness that the clearance between the foil and ready floor is minimum 10mm) is glued over the foil using a carpet glue and finally the chosen floor covering is installed in the usual way. When installing in wet rooms the application must be completed with a fine meshing corrosion protected net covering the whole foil. The net must be connected to earth protection.

Connection The connection of Vinnyflex shall be done to a fuse group of maximum 10A, protected by an earth‐leakage‐ circuit breaker with a rated tripping current of 30mA. All foils shall be connected in such a way that the connec‐tion point is easy to reach for control measuring (each foil element has a separate lead to the junction box). Connection cables must be laid in conduit when the installations in a floor is longer than 30cm. Table 1: Vinnyflex type 30/55 60/55 30/45 60/45
