The following are projects undertaken at the Hochschule fur Bildende Kunste Stadelschule in Frankfurt am Main during my post-graduate degree at the Stadelschule Architecture Class. These works are part of the Architecture and Aesthetic Practice studio (AAP) directed by Johan Betum. The studio’s curriculum relates selectively to the arts in order to critically engage with the conceptual, theoretical and practical aspects of architectural design, without skirting the social and political issues from which it works.

A hybridization of two aesthetic categories: single-use plastics and 17th century baroque ornament. The fluidity of the plastic contours the formal typologies of the baroque as a foreign transparent envelope, harkening back to the mechanical gesture of the vacuum forming machine introduced in the late industrial age.
