Letter from the Editor Hello All, A change is soon to come, people! And no, I’m not just referring to the season, but more so to your closet. I believe that nature and our surroundings have a huge influence in our mood, our layers and perhaps surprisingly, our color choices. Within an industry that is constantly changing and thriving on new ideas, we at Tobe fully believe that color is one of the first things we look to subconsciously and associate with change. This spring, expect to see a wide array of tone from pastels to deep jewels all over the runway and the streets. Hurry and subscribe so you won’t miss a beat on this seasons it colors! Cool Whip Spring is all about fresh colors and minimalism. Pastels are a typical go to and will be seen on every ‘it girl’ around come spring 2018. This color palette highlights the calm and cool tones of spring’s changing temperatures. Cool Whip evokes a light, feminine, innocent feeling to the consumer. These are all emotions that will be key in selling this pastel color palette.

Tropical Oasis Neutral color palettes in nature constantly surround us. It only makes sense that in Spring 2018 we will source our main neutrals from our natural surroundings. Strong browns and medium greens are derived from the beautiful palm trees found in tropical areas of the world. Nature is a powerful thing and there is nothing better than a retreat to somewhere tropical and that’s just where this color palette takes you.

Normally one does not think of darker pallets when they think spring but I am here to tell you that has been changing. With caviar we get deep, sultry vibes derived from vegetables and floral interiors. These tones are perfect for the it girl who does not like to bring a lot of attention to herself. These tones are great for a smooth transition into spring when you are not quite ready to pop with vibrant colors.
