Bontio Parka Bandung, 28 July 2019 - Finally, the release of our new raincoat series is back again after a long time. Named as Bonito series, we take it from a fish name that likes to migrating to many area around the globe and have no problem adapting to different conditions. So, the making of this series can make you adapt in a heavy rain but still makes you easy to move and travelling everywhere without worries. The appearance of the new series comes from a parka in the past, M51, back in the days was used by troops during the war in very cold weather. The Fish Tail Parka became popular when people from mod subculture wore it for driving. Balancing both functions as a protector from cold and a fashion item. As an anatomy of Bonito fish that has darkish color on it skin and lighter color inside, this series will be available in two colors, navy blue and terracotta to give a warm feeling and light gray inside. The design made with minimalist aesthetic but the function at its best. The design point of our new series we made was taking an example from Bonito forked tail so the raincoat has a long cut shaped like a fish tail at the back part. The Bonito Series comes with longer size with two-layered water-resistant fabric and taped seams. Two front pocket comes with waterproof YKK vislon zipper plus additional cover, made to be lighter than metal zipper. There will be a loop on the chest side to make it easier for you to hang an earphone and of course to not forget an adjustable hoodie. It’s perfect for a rain.
