DAY 1 Motorcoach departure from Chicago. Welcome to Wisconsin. Lunch in Wisconsin Dells. Guided tour at International Crane Foundation, Baraboo, WI, for a guided tour of this aviary sanctuary. ICF maintains a captive crane population for breeding & reintroduction to the wild & works worldwide to conserve cranes & the wetlands, grasslands, and other ecosystems on which they depend. You will see 15 different species of cranes. Arrive at Holiday Inn Express, Tomah, WI for a 2-night stay. Dinner.

DAY 2 Breakfast. Guided tour of a privately-owned cranberry operation and view the cranberries being harvested in Warrens, WI (cranberries available for purchase). Visit the Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center, a museum which highlights the history of cranberry farming in Wisconsin. Cranberry gift items available for purchase in the shop. Enjoy a cranberry ice cream & coffee here. Guided tour of Amish countryside with shopping. Dinner.

DAY 3 Breakfast. La Crosse Queen narrated luncheon fall foliage cruise along the bluffs of the Mississippi River, La Crosse. Motorcoach returns to Chicago. Tour ends.

DAY 1 Motorcoach departure from Chicago. Welcome to Wisconsin. Lunch at the Lighthouse Inn overlooking Lake Michigan in Two Rivers, WI. Tour the Door Peninsula Winery and discover the art of wine making & sample/purchase wines. Lodging in Door County, WI for a two night stay. Dinner.

DAY 2 Breakfast at the popular Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant in Sister Bay where you’ll see “the goats on the roof.” All day guided tour of Door County. Take in the beauty of Sister Bay, Ephraim, Bailey’s Harbor, Egg Harbor, the Norwegian Bjorklünden Chapel, the rocky ledges of Cave Point, and more. Visit Peninsula State Park and its lookout tower with stunning views of the coastline. Tour the orchards of Seaquist Farm & sample/purchase products. Free time in Fish Creek. Partake in a Door County tradition: a fish boil dinner at the Old Post Office in Ephraim.

DAY 3 Breakfast. Learn about Door County’s maritime history as you explore the Door County Maritime Museum. Also tour the John Purves tug docked here. Lunch. Motorcoach return to Chicago. Tour ends.

DAY 1 Welcome to New Mexico. Arrive at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa for a 4-night stay. Pueblo-style architecture, southwestern decor, open-air courtyards, working ranch and vistas of mountains and cottonwood forests capture the spirit of New Mexico. Dinner.

DAY 2 Breakfast. Ride the Sandia Peak Aerial Tram. Guided tour of Albuquerque. Dinner.

DAY 3 Rise and shine and enjoy the Chasers Club at the Balloon Fiesta Grounds. Breakfast and open-air seating here. Then, take in a spectacular display of sound and color as you watch the Hot Air Balloon Mass Ascension led by a balloon flying the American flag to the strains of “The Star Spangled Banner.” Explore Old Town Plaza Albuquerque. Dinner.

DAY 4 Breakfast. Visit the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. Free time to enjoy resort amenities. Return to the Balloon Fiesta grounds and be a VIP at the Gondola Club for dinner & cocktails included. Balloons aren’t just for daytime anymore. Tonight watch the special shaped “glowdeo” balloons light up the sky followed by the After Glow Fireworks Display.

DAY 5 Breakfast. Guided tour of Santa Fe, oldest capital city in the USA. Visit Loretto Chapel to see The Miraculous Staircase. Free time at Santa Fe Old Plaza. Visit Georgia O’Keefe Museum. Arrive at La Fonda Hotel of Santa Fe for a 4-night stay. Located on the historic Old Plaza, this charming hotel features authentic New Mexico architecture and fine amenities. Dinner.

DAY 6 Breakfast. Explore Taos Pueblo, over 1,000 years old and the most famous of the pueblos. Taos is scenically located on a high plateau flanked by the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Discover Taos Old Town Plaza. Visit San Francisco de Asis Mission Church ca 1711, to view the “Mystery Painting.” Dinner.

DAY 7 Breakfast. Visit Pecos National Historical Park. Discover hundreds of years of human habitation, such as Pecos Pueblo and the Spanish Mission Church. The Santa Fe Trail came through the park, as did the original path of Route 66. The Civil War brought the Battle of Glorieta Pass here, where Confederate ambitions for the Southwest stopped. Lunch at Rancho De Chimayo. Visit El Sanctuario De Chimayo.

DAY 8 Breakfast. Marvel at the story of Los Alamos with visits to the Bradbury Science Museum and the Los Alamos Historical Museum. Box Lunch. Explore Bandelier National Monument, home to Anasazi cliff dwellings as early as 1,100 AD. Take in the magnificent views at Point Peak Overlook – White Rock. Dinner.

DAY 9 Breakfast. Travel to Albuquerque. Tour ends.
