DAY 1 Flight to Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Visit the George W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum in Dallas. Arrive at Hilton Fort Worth Hotel for a 2-night stay. Experience ‘a moment in time, place in history’ at this landmark hotel, the scene of President John F. Kennedy’s final address on the morning of November 22, 1963. A photo display of JFK’s visit and a memorial are located at this hotel which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Dinner.

DAY 2 Breakfast. Guided tour of Dallas. Explore The Sixth Floor Museum and the grassy knoll at Dealey Plaza, Dallas. This museum chronicles the assassination and legacy of President John F. Kennedy. For a taste of the American West, enjoy free time in the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District where weathered brick streets are lined with historic buildings, restaurants, and saloons. Witness real Texas cowhands drive a herd of Texas longhorns. DAY 3 Breakfast. Visit the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame Museum in Waco Texas. The Texas Rangers have protected the people of Texas since 1823. They are a legendary symbol of Texas and the American West. Discover the LBJ Presidential Library & Museum in Austin. Arrive at the Hotel Contessa Riverwalk, San Antonio for a 2-night stay. DAY 4 Breakfast. Guided tour of historic San Antonio. Visit San Jose Mission (1782), designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. View the IMAX presentation: “Alamo… Price of Freedom.” Visit The Alamo where the memory of the battle served as a rallying cry in the fight for Texas’ independence from Mexico.
