Federación Española de Amigos de los Museos

The Spanish Federation of Friends of Museums (FEAM) is a non-profit institution created in 1983. Its principal promoters were the members of the association of Friends of the Museums of Catalonia and Friends of the Prado Museum Foundation, who perceived the need to promote a National Federation which would integrate all the associations, guided by the same purpose, and would represent them within the context of a World Federation of Friends of Museums. Since its foundation, the FEAM is a fully authorized member of the World Federation of Friends of Museums, an institution which comprises federations of Friends from 28 different countries, with over 2 million members.
