EXHIBITION DISPLAY SYSTEM

Project brief

Designing an travelling exhibition and the display should be a knowkdown system, easy to disamble ad easy to make it again on the next stop. The exhibition was about to celebrate the contemporary crafts of India.

Intent

Trigon is an archiac word for triangle which means a three cornered polygon. So the curated objects were having three as may be material or support or craft.

12|13

The packaging was the important thing to be taken care of so, it started with how the display system would be packed. So it all came from the grid of triangle and then tessellating the tetrahedron for packing

Catalouge of all the curating objects and its details including drawings were made.

For the lighting, the important part of any exhibition-metal C section with led strips inside it. And for the joining of this two precasted moulds were to be made.

04 C H E F’S

P L A C E BASIC DESIGN-I

Project brief

The program focused on visualizing a space in an object. Taking a random object and then designing a space for any particular character.

Intent

An underground home for a chef with kitchen on the ground and services like washroom, living safe and store room under the ground.

16|17

Inspired by the circulaor form of the object, the spaces were created in respect to them. The circular shaft in middle of Chakki was used as support of staircase and other services. Also the chef’s kitchen was given a quite large part of upper floor and the dinning space adjacent to it. Also the circular pathway around the setting and the entry complimented the form.
