The new chief of the National Police in Benidorm on the Spanish Costa Blanca is Juan Carlos Hernandez Mu単oz .In his inauguration he has of course promised to reduce crime .He has also promised to increase the service to the residents of Benidorm and also to tourists . In his speech he stressed the importance of residents and tourists to feel safe and consequently he would see that security was tight . He is going to increase the number of officers on the street to prevent petty crime and drug trafficking .He will be implementing a system whereby tourists who are the victims of crime will be dealt with in their own language .This is a new and controversial scheme .Tourists , he feels need the best possible help when they have problems .
