Moawia El Berier Group (MBG) Agriculture Group

Agriculture Group Moawia El Berier Agricultural Group has grown leaps and bounds to become Sudan’s leading agricultural land developer and production player.

As one of the largest owners of productive farmland in Sudan, we own more than 220,000 feddans dedicated to the production of various agricultural commodities, including sesame, sorghum, wheat, sunflower, cotton, maize, and so much more.

A) Agri-Projects MOB Altite Project – Northern State The Project is located in “Altite” 30KM South of Dongola the capital of Northern State.

MOB Altite project is located over the Nubian Aquifer, the world’s largest water aquifer. The land is suitable to grow variety of products such as alfalfa, wheat, corn, maize, watermelon seeds, peanuts and fruit trees.

Having both a fertile land and technical expertise ensure that our products are of the highest quality and offer a high yield. Our wheat production reaches an average of one ton per feddan.

The project is 35,000 feddan, and uses 50 Central Pivots type irrigation using vertical pumps from the largest underground water in the world. Preparations are made to install another 100 central pivot.

The project is currently in production and exporting

A) Agri-Projects Al Burgaig Project Al Burgaig Project is a 4,000 feddans land located north of Dongola state with 25 central pivot irrigation system in installation.

When complete the project will produce Potato and range of Beans and Fruits.

Um Jawaseer Project This strategic project is 50,000 feddans and is currently under development.

When completed the project will have 200 central pivots system irrigation installed to produce peanuts, fruits, vegetables and wheat.

A) Agri-Projects MOB Al Nuba – Al Jazeerah State The project is located in Al-Jazeera state. With 5,000 feddans, the project utilizes two types of irrigation: Twelve (12) Central Pivots, that uses horizontal pumps from nearby canals & additional 10 under process; and Surface Irrigation, which uses canals as source of water.

The project produces green forage mainly Rhodes grass and currently in production and exporting

MOB Arabian Ranches – Al Jazeerah State The project is located in Al-Jazeera State, just 30 kilometers south of Khartoum state. Arabian Ranches farm enjoys a unique location with close proximity to both central Khartoum and Al-Jazeera states The 3,000 feddan project has eighteen (18) Central Pivots irrigation system that uses horizontal pumps from nearby canals. The project produces green forage mainly Rhodes grass.

The project is currently in production and exporting.

A) Agri-Projects Abu Niaamah Project – Sinnar State The project is located at Abu Niaamah that lies on the western bank of the Blue Nile in Sinnar state.

The location is about 450 km south of Khartoum and connected to the main network asphalt road and to the national railway network.

The project is 35,000 feddan and mainly produces Cotton, which achieved record high yields in Sudan. In addition we produce Sesame, Sorghum, and Maize and forages.

Located in a rain-fed area, the project utilizes supplementary irrigation via vertical pumps from the Blue Nile River.

A) Agri-Projects

Projects for Mixed Agriculture & Animal Production The group owns and operates number of agriprojects in west Omdurman. These projects mainly produce various citrus trees and fruits.

Al Yanboa for Mixed Agriculture The 7,000 Feddan Project is located 43km from the center of Omdurman.

Al Tomaniyat Farm Located in Khartoum state south of Al Jaily .The farm has one of the most advanced tissue laboratories in the country . The lab will be operational towards end of the year. Currently the farm produces various fruits and vegetables.

Um Doam Farm Located in Khartoum state. The project produces fruits and vegetables

B) Livestock Prestige for Mixed Agriculture & Animal Feed The Group owns livestock feeding farm. The project is built over number of phases, phase one is now operational and on target to achieve capacity of 80,000

The farm is located 40km from the center of Omdurman. The project produces number of vegetables in state of the art greenhouses.

Tomatoes and Cucumber are mainly grown.

C) Agri- Industry Sugar Factory (Future Project) In accordance with the strategic direction of the Government of the Sudan to make the country a net sugar exporter, Moawia El Berier Group has put-together a plan to produce sugar and commence sugarcane production.

The production facility is composed of: A. Sugarcane Farm land; and B. Factory for processing the cane into various grades of sugar.

Production Capacity : 74,381 Tons of sugar 28,335 Tons of molasses

C) Agri- Industry

Ginning Factory The Cotton Ginning Factory is located in Kassab in Sinnar state.

The factory produces cotton fibers as a primary product and cottonseeds as a secondary product.

The seeds are often rich in oil andso they are further processed to produce to produce cotton oil.

The Factory has two cottonprocessing units that boast an impressive capacity of 22 tons per hour.

C) Agri- Industry Tahina & Tahniya Factory The factory is located at Moawia El Berier Group Industrial Complex in Al Bagair Industrial Area.

The factory uses advanced machinery to produce cleaned hulled sesame in addition to Tahina & Tahniya.

Best Dairy & Juice Factory Best Dairy & Juice Factory Complex has one of the most technologically advanced facilities and production sites in Sudan, producing (UHT) cow milk, yoghurt and juice.

The facility operates to the highest international standards of health and hygiene.

Al Aaelah Oil Mill Located in the heart of Omdurman Industrial Area, Al Aaelah Mill has placed itself as a landmark in the milling industry. Cottonseeds from our farms are taken to produce oil while the residual cake is used as animal feed. The Mill has a capacity of 300 Tons per day and plans has started to install additional 300 Tons

C) Agri- Industry Al Maedah Animal Feed and Meat Production The 1,300 feddan project is located in Khartoum State west Omdurman.

The project has an Animal feed factory that is currently under development. When completed, it will produce different types of animal feeds for cattle, sheep and poultry.

The factory will produce high quality rich ingredient products to serve both local and regional markets
