Amnesty International Ireland Iran Group
The Amnesty International Ireland Iran Group was established in the summer of 2009 at the height of post-election protests in Iran, when many activists and peaceful protesters were arrested and the surge in executions became alarming. The group is currently focusing on three areas: 1. Women’s Rights 2. The Death Penalty 3. Prisoners of Conscience We hold regular events to raise awareness of the above issues faced by the people of Iran. The group is open to anybody who has an interest in contributing!
