CULTURE AND COMMERCE

The Past: Mill tha God, CEO of Black WallStreet Empire. I would like to start off the article with a shout out to Brother Poet. I would also like to say Rest in Power to amun ra/ Larry Cameron one of the original founders of Black WallStreet Empire. I believe it’s important to articulate wins, losses, motivations and challenges. That’s what I will attempt to do with my article as well as answer questions that I commonly hear, the challenges I commonly face as well as success I commonly experience in 3 paragraphs. September 1996 I started a dark journey toward mental strength to become brilliantly independent after being the victim of a gunshot that paralyzed me from the waist down. I experienced incredible mental challenges most human beings without disabilities can’t overcome. Most people especially in the black community have preconceived thoughts that devalue anyone who uses a wheelchair. So when I get the question that I get a lot, “How do you accomplish everything you accomplish? Regardless of my situation the answer is; I’m extremely motivated from those factors. In society I learned how to successfully take Negative energy and create Positive energy within myself through motivation giving me the strength to do everything that I am going to discuss in part 2 and 3.

The Present: The current focus of BWE Commercially is really community based. I have experience and a background working with Community organizations, (shout out to those organizations). While doing Community work and working with the youth I learned a valuable lesson, Good intentions have minimum effectiveness when it is underfunded. After studying PowerNomics by Dr. Claud Anderson and being in the community I realized the harsh reality that black people have absolutely no clue on how to go about gaining economic empowerment. PowerNomics change my life. The majority of black people, activists, working classes, street people etc., have minimum participation in essential goods being sold in their community, own no land in the community and has no money invested politically. So I patterned my business investments around selling essential products from the ground up. BWE is much bigger than just selling products to make money. When studying Dr. Claud Anderson he talks about starting businesses where black people have competitive advantages, so my investments are simple: cologne, perfume etc. Black people love to look good and smell good, I know how we like to smell and look. Many people would be ignorant to the monetary achievement that

can be occurred in the business of soap which is a essential product that is needed. When soap is sold without the overhead of store space it’s a big cash cow. Next tremendously needed in our community is Credit Restoration. Thanks to Brother Poet, when starting BWE he told me the administrative procedure process which I apply to the credit business, it became glowingly obvious the more I learned about credit and economics the more I realize how financially ignorant our community is. In a short time I helped people buy cars, houses, I have even bought cars and sold houses myself just off the education of leveraging credit. And I haven’t even reached my potential yet which will take me until the future of BWE.

The Future: Group economics is the order of the day. The goal has always been to educate black people locally, nationally and internationally. But in order to achieve economic political influence, you have to accomplish economic success. Of course me not being a talker I’m about action,

so the building blocks are in place and being stepped on to achieve those accomplishments. Its important that we continue to build brand awareness amongst all of our products and services: the shea butter line, soap line, fragrance line, herbal lines, etc. But there will be tremendous effort put into private education, which Brother Poet is perfecting a private process at this time that carries the potential to have a impact on those smart enough to be involved. He also is cultivating a BWE Farm that is pretty much developed for planting. This will allow us to not only feed us, our affiliates but our community as well. African people for too long have been tricked out of their God-given rights for independence and their motivation for power. But not at BWE those motivations live over here, and are in full effect. There’s so much we have in store I can’t even speak on everything. Future investments in hemp, Real Estate as well as taking advantage of the Covid Funding opportunities to circulate money within our circle. We are carving out a strong future. It’s important to support and be aware of the Culture and Commerce pop up shops that we put on monthly along with JJI Empire and support the website:
