My name is Idayat Sambo, and I’m the CEO/ fashion creator at Covermecutee. I’m 38 years married and have been blessed with four girls that inspire me daily. Nurse (LPN) by day, fashion designer by night. I was born and raised in Nigeria. Covermecutee LLC, 3 years old, is a small homebased business located in Cleveland Ohio. We create top modest fashion to keep ladies and girls covered but still look cute. As a Muslim, being modest is part of our religion but I believe in feeling good in what you wear has a big impact on self-confidence. Modesty in the United states is very challenging for a lot of women because only a few fashion lines are fully modest. As an African with a background rich in fashion and color, I incorporate my culture into every piece to create beautiful high-quality dresses. The major goal of Covermecutee is to encourage women who love modesty to have different styles and colors to choose from.

As important as clothing is, l believe beauty radiates from within this is why I use my platform on every social media page to amplify women and keep them motivated

We create handmade dresses, skirts, scarves, hijabs, and African attires. We currently have 3 employees, my mom, My 12-year-old, and me. I love doing what I do and also inspiring other women that have a dream similar to mine. I believe every human has a purpose and this is mine.
