Position: Internship Project year: 2021 Project type: Wellness+Mixed used Programs: Wellness, Fitness, Lifestyle & Retail Site: Vyttila, Kochi, India Area: 61863 sq.ft VTR is an innovative wellness and lifestyle project in the heart of Cochin, born from a collaboration between Kerala’s Seemati Group and Iron Butterfly. Their shared vision aimed to redefine well-being through architecture. The project began with comprehensive client meetings to outline objectives and initiate the design process. In-depth consultations with the business operations team ensured alignment with the wellness facility’s functional requirements. Building regulations were meticulously considered, intricacies of building classifications, specifically Group C and F, and sustainable construction practices were prioritized. The result is a modular, structure surrounded by lush landscapes, demonstrating the potential of architectural design within the wellness sector. Spatial quality takes precedence for occupants’ holistic well-being.

KIA SHOWROOM - KOCHI Tenure: Internship 2021 Office: Zarine Jamshedji Architects Project year: 2021 Project type: Commercial Programs: Showroom, Service center, Corporate office Site: Nettoor, Cochin, India Status: Completed

The KIA Automobile Showroom in Nettoor, Kochi stands as a testament to innovative design and precision execution. As the largest KIA showroom in Kochi, this project broke new ground as the first in India to adopt Incheon Kia’s new design philosophy. The mission was to transform an existing 22,000 sq.ft structure into a space that reflected Kia’s distinct interior and exterior design catalogue. Our journey began with meticulous execution planning, wherein we devised strategies to adhere to Kia’s design principles. Spatial planning was the next crucial step, where we seamlessly integrated the existing design module to create a harmonious environment. Transformation solution encompassed interior design, flooring layout, furniture arrangement, service bay planning, and intricate lighting and electrical solutions. The significant challenge was meeting the PMC deadline. With a relentless commitment to excellence and unwavering dedication, The project was successfully completed within the shortest timeframe possible. The KIA Automobile Showroom now stands as a shining example of collaboration between design vision and project execution prowess, setting new benchmarks for automotive showrooms in India.
