As the building is consciously elevated off the ground the space below is Envisioned as a space for temporary exhibits and display of bigger artifacts and sculptors. The core is conceived as a transitional point that helps in distinguishing between the change of historical eras helping the visitor identify one era from another. War elephants..Horse chariots.. broze weapons..an era by gone but its stories still live on in this gallery that starts the journey of the glorious army of India. As the British colonized India, many changes occurred in the structure of the armies and India become a crucial part of World war I and II. After independence India fought many wars to protect its borders from infilterators. Some of the most significant wars fought are highlighted as part of this gallery. This Gallery highlights the other other significant roles played by the Army, Navy and Airforce in various occasions. Also, the core here is designed as a memory hall. 1

The plinth profile of the existing structure is taken up as a memory of the site. This helps in locating the museum buildings by causing minimal damage to the trees. This leads to the moulding of the building itself between the linear patches of the dense existing trees of the site.
The linear rows of buildings shades each other and reduces the heat gain within the structure. It further creates in-between courtyards that become pause points for the museum fatigue. This kind of planning also has an advantage of multiple curating possibilities and flexibility in the use of space.
The Design consists of 3 cores that have been designed to signfy a tranisition from one era to another. Core 1 - The entrance signifies the entering into the Museum Core 2 - Tells the story of India’s win over the Brtish rule and becoming a repulican country. Core 3 - The hall of memory and fame highlights the contributions and scarifices made by people for our country.
The architecture is envisioned to have strong geometrical forms that attempts to instigate an identity of a powerful, disciplined and dedicated institution. Whereas, the materials used are pigmented Geopolymer concrete and Redstone cladding where in its colour and texture helps in continuing the fabric of the place.

The memorial blends to the symmetry of the ceremonial boulevard and aligns itself to the central axis of the Rajpath. The idea here is to make a subtle intervention that blends in terms of geometry and responds to the historic context around.
The circular tilted roof that is surrounded by the water body represents a wreath-a symbol of homage from the citizens towards the martyrs. the evergreen planting represents and symbolizes strength, as evergreen plants last even the harshest of the season. This metaphorically represents the valor with which a soldier protects the soil of the nation under great difficult challenges and difficult circumstances.
5
The response are in terms of a subtle intervention yet producing dramatic encounters for a visitor and engaging them with the spiritual essence of the place. the entry to the war memorial is envisioned from the east generating vista further enhancing spiritual dimension to the journey towards the amar jyoti jawan,India gate complex and further to the Rastrapati Bhavan
The memorial is strongly envision as a temple of nation where people from all religious background come and practice their faith towards the nation and its heroes.hence we chose to develope it as
an enclosed space that generates various spatial gestures and emotions from the visitors which eventually shall lead towards the unity of the people and lead the nation towards a progressive path.

Water Purification labs and Croc Monitoring center on the Bank of Chambal River, Kota Master’s Studio Project (2015)
The design program is derived from the context of given site which is an abandoned quarry on bank of river chambal. The site is a pit filledd with reeds where the first batch of rejected water from an adjecent water purification plant is discharged making it a perennial waterfall before flown into river. This river is facing a major problem of contamination due to intense industrial activities making the water purification labs as an integral part of a program. 7
The intent of this project is to develop an approach to design of campus with such a diverse program and articulating it in to an environmentally sensitive site. Developing spatial experiences through various materials expressing flow in them and abstracting those experiences. These experiences are developed further considering programatic requirements using Models.

Flowing Water
One of the major consideration of the project is minimising impact on existing flow of water and ground texture and vegetation by design around it and keeping it slightly above ground so organisms can crawl from below retaining the biodiversity on the ground and further nurturing the spatial experience of the place.
10
Study Model 11
Kota experiences extreme climate throughout the year with chilling winter and summer rising temperature upto 50 degree celcius. Considering this the design encoprates Passive cooling strategy.
Study Model for Facade Detail
The structure is made using Stainless Steel hollow member through which a part of water from the waterfall is made to flow. Some part of water from the waterfall is also trapped to make it flow through the aqueducts which flows through all the structure passing the water to the Khas (Straw Grass) Panels on the facade. When the breeze passes through these panels inside it is cooled down by the water improving the comfort level inside.

Banganga tank is a water tank located in south of Mumbai. Banganga portrays complete contrast in character. The ringing temple bell, children playing, religious chanting and quaking of ducks reverberates the environment colors of drying cloths on the tank steps, painting of deities on walls, garlands and saffron adds to the visual memory of the place.
Roof Level Plan
Ground Level Plan
Roof converting into steps and intermediate platforms encourage activities to encroach over the structure making it a cultural node where various activites overlaps. Various platform levels on the roof give different views of the place influencing the change in activities and range of people gathering. Local band can practice and make music so they can be a part of music festival Banganga conduct every year.

Oasis on a Sinking Island Designing a Maternity Home on the Sinking Island of Majuli on bank of River Bramhaputra, Assam Master’s Studio Project (2015)
Majuli Island in Assam Records Highest Maternal Mortality Rate which lies on bank of might river Bramhaputra. Majuli is the Largest river Island in the World but it is sinking at very fast rate due to various reasons like Annual Floods, Typhoons and Earthquake, Making it vulnerable to high mortality rate. This Island is isolated from the mainland which resulted in very Unique Culture and Lifstyle of its own. Wetlands spread all across the island which are crossed using wooden or bamboo bridges and also boats become one of the major mode of transport.
17
This Project looks into issue of Maternal Mortality and providing facility of a Maternity Home. This Facility will act as home for the woman during there pregnancy for a week or so before and after their delivery. This Facility will also house check-up facility for other women.
18
For this facility the site is chosen strategically close to the river connected by a rivulet through which a boat can pass and also the same rivulet can connect the facility to other part of the island using its Boat Ambulance This Project starts with engaging into understanding of Geology and Hydrology of the Place to further study and understand the vernacular architecture response to these adversities. The also helped in approaching a design with understanding of how to develop an Architectural Scheme which can sustain and function in such adverse conditions
The material chosen for the construction is the material which the locals are proficient using as this Island have a culture of community coming together and doing repair work of damage caused by the floods, so the community can maintain the facility too. The main frame structure is made using Bamboo and Cane with metal joints for extra strengthening. Mud is used for the wall which are constructed using Wattle and Daub method also help in reducing the humidity of the place. Thatch become a very efficient choice as roofing material.
19

Learning through Space Exploration of school spaces to nurture the process of Learning Master’s Capstone Project (2016)
This thesis deals in developing understanding of how learning environment agument learning or facilitate a child to be a keen observer through architectural elements and gestures towards the site. There is a very close relationship of learning and space; built and unbuilt, as they both influence each other in both tangible and intangible way. The spatial configuration and character plays a significant role in influencing the learning process. It also contributes the method and nature of teaching, by its physical response to the context it places itself, the ideology it follows and the socio-cultural fabric it gets stitched into. There are various architectural elements like the courtyard and in-between spaces which always have been a part of the built environment in a built or unbuilt form. When these elements realized as an important tool for learning, it got explored further and became an integral part of a design of an educational environment.

Exploring Gestures in an Educational Environment Krishnamurti foundation of India school’s new proposed campus in chennai considered to explore these Gestures further and developing spatial narratives as this school considers an educational environment an important tool for teaching
Philosophy
To demonstrate the findings in a Krishnamurti school it is important to understand philosophy of Krishnamurti as it will further help explore the findings.
Site
Directionless space can be achieved in various ways. The geometric spaces are fields of experience this illustrates how allowing opportunities to choose from the range of fields of experience and its sequencing can develop wide varieties of spatial narratives. Forest offer one of the directionless path cause of its changing nature as per the season and life patterns of vegetation. This character of forest provides multiple possibilities to approach the place. Overlapping of various element and various spaces flows in to each other causing formation of new experience of space.
25
Exploration of Dark spaces which will instigate appreciation of the presence of light and also formlessness. Exploring spaces through play of built and unbuilt dissolved boundaries encourages connection with the wilderness outside. The variation in levels will further narrate the way connections take place School as an unfinished composition of elements scattered in the context like a found ruin which becomes a school.

27
Classrooms are used for gathering, where concepts are introduced. Space imagined as a place where a child will work and share the it with everyone. The Central gathering spaces are used for conducting classes and discussions. Gathering space is where one enters which is connected from outside by more than one entrance. The structure is kept raised to protect from flooding and also provide more natural surface for playing. Some platforms are purposely designed to encourage crawling.
Chimnies in transition spaces develop connection to outside with the light directly entering inside through the opening on top. The opening is uncovered which also lets in the rain inside which one can enjoy and not resist the presence of rain. Circulation Decks at some
points encroached by the mound of land facilitating opportunity to get into the wilderness around. Meandering pathways across the campus allow possibilities of approaching a place through new paths and also the undulating landscape encourages for various other activities.
