FOREWORD
Chandra William Suhendar Liaison Officer for Governmental Organization AMSA-Indonesia 2019/2020
Yoriska Liaison Officer for Non-Governmental Organization AMSA-Indonesia 2019/2020
Helen Keller once said:
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much” As an organization that continues to grow from time to time, collaborating with external parties is one of the most crucial thing. It can gives such a great impact for the existence and development of an organization. In addition, it also gives a positive impact to the image of the organization itself. Collaborating with GO/NGO (Governmental and Non-Governmental Organization) is the perfect example. With the help of GO and other NGO, we have a bigger opportunity to expand our organization even more and enhance our credibility as a Non-Governmental Organization. Moreover, the benefit in collaborating with GO/NGO is not only for the organization as a whole, but also
for each one of the members. It gives the members opportunities to learn about how to build a good relations with external parties, expand their relations, and many others. Furthermore, by collaborating with GO/ NGO, hopefully we can build a powerful program and enhance our work program’s impact to the society. Therefore, we can improve our contribution to the public health. Finally, we would like to express our biggest gratitude to all members of AMSA-Indonesia, Representatives of all AMSA-universities, our dearest Regional Chairperson AMSA-Indonesia 2019/2020, Raynanda Kevin Alifiano, and all AMSAIndonesia’s Executive Board 2019/2020 for the help and support throughout the making of this guideline. Through this GO and NGO guideline, we really hope that it can encourage all AMSA-universities and its members to start doing collaborations with GOs and NGOs and help them in doing their respective work program. Let’s start enhancing our collaboration and contribute in influencing our community!
