Glow girls!
I’m extremely excited about this editon of the magazine! It strays away from the typical romantic yuk we usually see around Valentines day! Instead, we are able to celebrate GIRL POWER and SELF LOVE. I hope whilst you are reading Glow you are able to feel empowered and extra sparkly, which will hopefully allow you to shine with whatever you may encounter this month! HOW SHE DID IT Meet Claire Amelia.
She is the proud owner of The Bridal Emporium, bridal boutique. The shop offers a made to measure, coture service, celebrating indepedent british designers and true vintage wedding dresses. Having a love for vintage, she found herself collecting vintage treasures and
before she knew it she was selling vintage gowns to brides to be. Claire is just about to launch her very own bridal gown range and so we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to pop in and find out just how she conquered her dream! Education: Studied for 5 years in fashion, tailoring and historical costume and then going on to work in the wedding industry in some fabulous bridal shops in Yorkshire. Advice: Never stop believing that you are capable of achieving your dreams. There will be tough times, but in the end they just make you a lot stronger. Fave quote: ‘Everything happens for a reason.’

However, as a Glow girl, it is essential that we set ourselves important goals and work towards achieving them, no matter how big or small! Glow girls don’t say ‘I wish’, they say ‘I will’.
Did you know? People who write down their goals are more likely to achieve them than those who don’t.

Five days of self love! Cut out this chart, carry out the activity and fill it in each day! By day five YOU should be your own favourtie person.
Day 1
Switch off your phone for 1 hour. Dedicate this time for yourself. Listen to music or watch an episode of your fave TV show. ‘Me-time’ is the best time to recharge and relax!
Day 2
Speak to someone you wouldn’t usually speak to. Even if it is just a small hello. You never know, you may find out something really intersting!
Day 3
Go for a walk. Whilst you do, really take notice of everything around you. Take some pictures of anything you see that takes your fancy.
Day 4
Start a new book. This could be one completely different to what you usually read. You might enjoy stepping out of your comfort zone and find new characters to fall in love with.
Day 5
I enjoyed this because...
I began to realise how IMPORTANT it was to be an entusiast in LIFE. If you are interested in something, no matter what it is, GO AT IT FULL SPEED. Embrace it with both arms, HUG IT, LOVE IT and above all become passionate about it.
