Australian Medical Student Journal

The Australian Medical Student Journal (AMSJ) is an academic publication that accepts submissions from all Australian medical students, as well as students studying medically-related disciplines. It is the first undertaking of its kind in Australia. It is staffed entirely by medical students and is currently at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney. With the increasing presence of principles of evidence-based medicine and compulsory research projects in Australian medical curricula, there has never been a more sensible time for a national student journal to be launched. The AMSJ strives for the academic rigour and quality of a major academic journal, although seeks to publish content that will be of particular appeal to a medical student readership.
