Amsterdam Gay Pride is a festival to celebrate that you can be who you are and love the one you want. We share love and accept differences. Over the last 20 years our nine-day festival evolved into one of the biggest and best celebrations of its kind around the globe attracting over 600.000 participants and visitors to stay and play in Amsterdam. The city turns into a rainbow of events in gay and openminded venues, from dance parties to film festivals, sporting events, debates and culture. The second weekend we blow your mind with a weekend of outdoor parties, the world famous canal parade and a unique Human Rights Concert on the closing Sunday. Amsterdam Gay Pride is the perfect place to show the world that your company values differences and is committed to diversity and inclusion. 2016 is going to be even bigger and better, because we are hosting EuroPride here in Amsterdam. EUROPRIDE 2016 CANAL PARADE SATURDAY AUG 6TH ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
In the final and third weekend of the festival, the first Saturday of August, we have the world famous Canal Parade with 80 floats on the water and more then 400.000 visitors along the 5.6 km route. The parade starts at 1 pm in the West side of the city centre and finishes at 6 pm in the east side. For our partners and their relations we have a special VIP Gallery on the river Amstel. Yearly over 150 organizations and companies want to participate in the parade where we only have permit for 80. Therefore a draw is done by a notary on the first Sunday in March. For sponsors we have max 8 permits which are included in the partner packages. Watch lottery event

EUROPRIDE 2016 STREET PARTIES ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
We start EuroPride in 2016 with Pink Saturday. A large Dutch activist event which is outdoors at Rembrandtpark. During this event participants can experience a market, artist, manifest and large closing party. On Sunday July 24th we are organizing a European Rainbow Concert at the Dam square in the city centre. This concert is also recorded for television and has performances of various artists.
This year we had Conchita Wurst, Dana International, Johnny Logan, Anita Meijer, Willeke Alberti, Cbmilton and Raffaela Paton performing and activists from all over the world. From the last Thursday of July until the first Sunday of August the city centre of Amsterdam is one big party playground. With 8 stages,190 bars and more then 650 artists, we are the biggest outdoor festival of Amsterdam. Our open-air cinema on one of the old squares in the Red-Light district shows the hottest gay and lesbian movies. Watch the concert
