of York visits Thailand
The aims of the visit were to strengthen royal ties as well as enhance trade and investment between Thailand and the UK. In this connection, during his stay in Thailand, The Duke of York attended an audience with Their Majesties The King and Queen on 29 February 2012 to present the congratulatory message from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty’s 84th Birthday Anniversary, as well as having an audience followed by dinner with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on 1 March 2012 at Sra Prathum Palace.
