○ A Bachelor Studio - Greykroonbrug ○
The project intends to reactivate the circulation running parrallel to Rue-Gray, a street passing perpendicularly underneath two bridges, the main one supporting Avenue De La Couronne and the other one supporting the train-line between station Bruxelles-Luxembourg and Grémoir.
The main idea of this project is to enhance the existing relationship between the different circulations crossing on the site at different levels. Bringing those levels together creates new interactions, these being visual, acoustical or physical.
The only division of circulation lays in the private and public use of the project.
The private spaces are used by children, their parents and educators, as the public spaces of the project invite to a promenade through the green gardens and bridges, yet unreachable before this project. Both circulations run separatedly on top- and beside each other but do communicate through visual and acoustical interaction.
