“My favorite thing about teaching at A&M-Texarkana is that I get to follow my students from the moment they step foot onto campus until graduation. It’s something you don’t get to see at larger universities. Getting to see them thrive and progress during their four years at TAMUT makes it really special to teach here.”
DR. KIM MURRAY COLLEGE OF ARTS, SCIENCES, AND EDUCATION
Why did you choose A&MTexarkana?
I chose A&M-Texarkana because it had the degree program I was interested in and the campus has a very family oriented feeling.
What is your favorite thing about A&M-Texarkana?
My A&M-Texarkana family took me under their wings and mentored me. I have been able to build my leadership and communications skills. I’ve been able to join clubs and organizations that helped me understand that it’s important to have an impact in my community. I’ve met kind and wonderful people that I am proud to call friends.
Courses: Business Strategy and Policy, Principles of Management, and Organizational Behavior
“My favorite thing about teaching at TAMUT is partnering with students as they grow and discover their potential. To watch our students take what they learn and apply it to their everyday lives shows that they value my teaching and view me as a credible source to entrust their future. To me, that makes teaching incredibly enjoyable and rewarding.”
