Textile Shield Case Study – Hotel Client: Ace Hotel – Palm Springs Date: 2016 Location: Palm Springs Challenge: Ace Hotel uses canvas fabric throughout their Palm Springs resort. The light-colored fabric was constantly geIng soiled from dust and other surface contaminants. Solution: Textile Shield provided the canvas with a self-cleaning super-hydrophobic surface allowing it to clean itself more efficiently thereby preventing the need to replace the fabric throughout the resort.

LumActiv Case Study – Historic Building Client: LA Public Library - City of Los Angeles Date: 2016 Location: Los Angeles, CA Challenge: The Los Angeles Central Library was built in 1926 and is listed as a National Historic building. Due to its location in downtown Los Angeles, the building accumulates carbon deposits from smog and car emissions. Solution: DryWired was hired to coat the 11,000 sq feet of with LumActiv so that it would stay clean throughout the year. In addition, LumActiv serves as a “smog eating” coating breaking down over 60,000 cubic feet of VOCs per day.

Textile Shield Case Study – Restaurant Client: Delilah Restaurant Date: 2017 Location: Palm Springs Challenge: Delilah’s high-end upholstery in their hybrid restaurant and lounge was suscepKble to staining. Solution: Textile Shield’s chemically-inert, super-hydrophobic nanocoating provided protection to their sofas and chairs so that spills were no longer a problem.

Liquid NanoTint Case Study – Historic Building Client: Texas National Guard Date: Sept . 2016 Location: Texas Challenge: National Guard Recruitment centers in Weatherford and Terrell Texas were experiencing extremely hot room temperatures due to un-insulated single-pane glass. Solution: Liquid NanoTint was applied to the single-pane windows in order to increase the building’s energy conservation efforts while not sacrificing visible light transmittance.

PCO Unit Case Study – Elementary School Client: Goddard School Elementary School Date: 2014 Location: Colorado Challenge: The Goddard School in Colorado was experiencing a surge in absences during cold/flu season. Solution: The school installed an in-duct PCO Unitsystem. After installation, illnesses dropped by 600%.

PCO Unit Case Study – Veteran’s Home Client: Denver Fisher House Veteran’s Home Date: 2012 Location: Colorado Challenge: APer an outbreak of Norovirus and other air quality concerns, the Denver Fisher House was looking for a way to improve sanitaKon at their facility. Solution: PCO Unitsystem was introduced and independent bacterial testing was performed proving that the photocatalytic oxidation process was helping keep the center clean and reduced the risk of communicable diseases spreading amongst the veteran residents.

PCO Unit Case Study – Restaurant Client: Aventine Restaurant Date: 2016 Location: San Francisco, CA Challenge: Aventine San Francisco was having difficulty reducing odors from overnight alcohol spills. Solution: DryWired installed a PCO Unit inside the restaurant. Within hours staff reported air quality improvements and a reduction in alcohol based odors.

PCO Unit+ Lumactiv Case Study – Animal Shelter Client: South Los Angeles Animal Shelter Date: 2016 Location: Los Angeles, CA Challenge: The South Los Angeles Animal Shelter wanted to improve air quality for the animals it houses and its workers in the facility. Solution: DryWired was hired to coat the 1,000 sq feet of LumActiv and mount a PCO Unitsystem in a feline quarantine room. Within 24 hours, facilities workers and veterinarians reported an “80% reduction in malodors.”

Liquid NanoTint Case Study – University Building Client: University of Idaho Date: 2015 Location: Moscow, ID Challenge: University of Idaho experienced uncomfortably hot conditions in their buildings during the summer months due to a lack of central air conditioning. Solution: Liquid NanoTint was applied to single-pane glass in one of the affected buildings and reduced room temperature up to 20ºF. Liquid NanoTint Case Study – City Hall Office Client: Los Angeles City Hall Date: 2016 Location: Los Angeles, CA Challenge: Los Angeles City Hall’s old single-pane glass provided no UV or Infrared protection to the Deputy Mayor’s Office. Solution: Liquid NanoTint was applied to the office windows providing 100% UV protection and 95% IR rejection. The Mayor’s energy efficiency staff measured a 19ºF difference taking into consideration ambient room temperature and outdoor weather differences.

Perma-Clean Solar Case Study – Residential Home Client: Sun Green Systems Date: 2016 Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA Challenge: A Southern California solar provider was looking for a solution to reduce cleaning cycles on installed photovoltaic panels. Solar panels can lose over 25% eďŹƒciency when dirty. Solution: Perma-Clean Solar was applied to solar panels. Coated panels showed a measurable improvement in performance compared to uncoated solar panels.

Tesla and DryWired have been working together to create customized nano-coaKngs for their new line of solar roof Kles. Research is ongoing and is split between DryWired’s headquarters and Tesla’s design center in Southern California.

DryWired’s Liquid NanoTint has been added to Google’s Healthy Materials program. Google’s Healthy Materials Program was created to idenKfy the healthiest products and materials for every Google building around the world. PorKco was developed by the Healthy Building Network team led by Chief Technology Officer Larry Kilroy, in collaboraKon with Google, to advance healthy materials use, accelerate access to high-quality and comparable data, and seamlessly connect supply with demand. Since 2015, Google has been using PorKco to idenKfy the healthiest products for its worldwide buildings, communicate Google prioriKes and inform product decisions that meets the healthy materials criteria and product scoring based on reliable and transparent manufacturer supplied data

R&D Project: John Deere anti-dust glass Client: John Deere Date: 2016 Location: Bakersfield, California Challenge: John Deere’s agricultural machinery windows get dangerously dirty during operation affecting visibility and safety. Solution: Perma-Clean Glass’ anti-static properties prevent dirt and dust from adhering to machinery windows increasing farming efficiency. *Note: Field testing is expected to be completed in March 2017
