Outdated Cleaning Methods Are Dangerous The use of harsh chemicals to clean hospital surfaces provide temporary protection from dangerous pathogens. Many of the chemical cleaners include ingredients that are harmful to humans. Minutes after cleaning, surfaces are re-infected.

The Solution: Active Cleaning with UVAIRx The UVAIRX unit actively outputs a continuous stream of molecules which attack and destroy pathogens on a continual basis. • Generates a process called active photo-catalytic oxidation (PCO) • Forms and releases large clusters of positively and negatively charged ions: multi-clustered ions (MCIs) • Attacks microbes (bacteria, viruses, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), allergens, molds, and odors), wherever they exist in the indoor environment • Continues to treat the environment with MCIs on a continual basis • Has been proven unequivocally by independent universities and laboratories on a global basis to be highly effective and safe • Is at work in many clinical, commercial, and residential buildings, as well as on the international space station
Wall-mounted unit
Benefit to Cedars Sinai DryWired’s UVAIRX technology is ideal for cleaning large indoor environments and providing employees with a safer, cleaner work environment by sanitizing surfaces 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

The Solution: UVAIRx Unit Safety
• Only affects bacterial surface – no damage to cytoplasmic protein or DNA • Unlike using radiation or UV, process does not damage DNA and cause cells to mutate or become cancerous • Unlike other PCO technologies, UVAIRx emits no ozone or formaldehyde • Successfully in use in government buildings, schools, restaurants and care facilities • Efficacy validated by years of 3rd party tests

Germicidal UV lights
Negative Ionization Air filter
• Traps particulates • No affect on VOCs • Only affects air that passes through filters • Breeds mold, bacteria & viruses • Disposal problems • Costly replacement and/or cleaning of filters
• Only effects bacteria & viruses at close range • Needs long dwell time to show any effectiveness • Slight effect on some pathogens
• Not recommended by EPA • Produces too much ozone • Can irritate respiratory system • Very limited range • Black wall issues

The Solution: The LumActiv photo-catalytic coating supports active cleaning process and compliments the UVAIRX system LumActiv™ is an ISO certified photo-catalytic water-based coating that can be added to any hard surfaces in a hospital. Once exposed to light, the coated surface creates multi-clustered ions capable of oxidizing pathogens, decomposing volatile organic compounds (VOCs), malodors, and most airborne noxious substances. The active ingredient is titanium-dioxide which is an FDA approved food pigment. Applying Lumactiv to hospital walls and lights compliments the UVAIRX systems and insures more robust 24/7 cleaning.
LumAc8v coated lights create mul8clustered ions that help destroy airborne pathogens circula8ng in hospital hallways 24/7
LumAc8v can be applied on any hard surface including walls, high-touch surfaces, air vents and doors

LumActiv How It Works
In 1967, PhD student Akira Fujishima working in a small lab at the University of Tokyo discovered that the anatase form of titanium dioxide, a common food pigment, decomposes volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other air pollutants when exposed to UV light. More than 48 years and over 3,000 academic studies later, scientists agree that global air pollution can be positively impacted by the widespread application of photo-catalytic anatase titanium dioxide coatings.
In the presence of light, the compounds that our coating is capable of decomposing include nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), formaldehyde, benzene, allergens, pathogens, odors and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These pollutants are converted into non-toxic compounds like carbon dioxide, water and nitrates. PROPRIETARY & CONFIDENTIAL
