Sound Production Log - Questions to think about for what to write in your log Recording

You will want to think about the following:      

What did you record – how did you make the sound? What settings on the dictaphone did you use? What is the quality of the clip out of 10? Why? Does it sound like you want it to sound? Why? Did you need to re-record it? If so why? How did you organise your clips? Remember 2 files of 1 sound are needed, raw and edited.

Editing

You will want to think about the following:       

What effects have you applied to the sounds? What have you cut out to change the length of the sound? Have you layered any sounds together? How has this changed the effect of the original recording? Does it sound like you want it to sound? Why? What format have you saved the sounds as? How have you made/edited any music?

Applying You will want to think about the following:     

What process did you follow to import and apply your sound library into the game engine? Did you adjust the timings of any of the sounds in the game engine? Did you put any sounds on a loop in the game engine? How did you trigger the sounds to play? Did you change any sounds to the player responding in the game engine
