Harvard Park Pre-School Isleworth: December Newsletter 2017 News from the Managers, Nicki and Tracey and Deputy Manager, Amy Welcome to Winter! Firstly we have a sad goodbye to announce, Sue has had to leave us suddenly and unexpectedly. We would like to thank her for her time with us and we wish her the best of luck for the future. Charlotte will be working with us and taking over Sue’s key-children until Christmas. We have a very important message from Smallberry Green’s head teacher: DO NOT Park in front of or outside the school gates. You will get in trouble if they see you on their CCTV. Do not park inside the car park either. Harvard Park will get in trouble for this too. If the gate is open, the CCTV is still in operation and they will register your number plate. Labelling clothes and belongings: Our coat peg area is very crowded but we have to make use of what space we have. Please stick to your child’s correct peg with their name and picture. Please label their coat, school bag and any belongings they may have in there. We will be collecting a lost property box for anything we find without a name. The weather is changing and the chill is in the air. Please can we ask that you start to provide thick winter coats as well as gloves, hats and scarfs all clearly labelled with your child’s name. Christmas Party! As you may or may not already know our Christmas party will be on Tuesday 12 th December. We kindly ask you for food donations on this day so please write your child’s name next to something you would like to provide on this day. Encourage your child to come in their favourite Christmas outfit/ jumper or dress up as their favourite character! We also have a special request: If you or a family member is available to come and be our Santa on the 12th, please come and speak to Amy. We have two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. If you would like to apply, please see Amy at the desk. Pick ups and Drop offs If you’re a requesting a 3:30pm pick up time, please call in advance if it is not a regular occurrence. For health and safety reasons, we cannot open up the gate before or after this time until 4:10pm. We open our doors from 8:00am and close the door at 8:45am. Please make sure you are arriving to us before 8:45am as your child is missing out on valuable learning time. For our afternoon session, we open the door at 12:30pm. As the weather is becoming colder, we do feel it is unfair to make children wait outside in the cold so please try to get here as close to 12:30pm as possible, not half an hour before. Post Box dates: Our Post box will be open from Friday the 1 st of December and will close on Friday 15th December. After this date we will no longer accept cards. Card lists will be available from Monday 4 th December, if not earlier. Encourage your children to write their own cards. We do not expect you to write cards neither do other parents. It is completely yours and your child’s choice  Term Dates: This is very important so please pay attention: We will be closed from Friday 22 nd December toFriday 5th January 2018. We will be open again on Monday 8th January 2018 at the normal time of 8:00am. Our last day of term will be Thursday 21st December.
