Nursery school in Sept 2013. Please let us know as soon as you hear which school they have been accepted into, and when their last day will be. However if your child is nursery age and you want to keep your child here for another year then please let us know as soon as possible . Also if you have any spare newspapers lying around at home, could we please have them as we use them for activities, Thank You?
3 News from Baby Studio –Sana, Mary, Gurpreet, Nabila and Sneha
Our theme for this month is ‘wild animals’. We will be doing lots of different activities which cover the areas of development. We will painting tigers and lions to develop children’s creative skills, counting giraffes as well as talking about their features; talking about other animals and where they live to develop their communication skills. This topic will also help children with their understanding of the world as it will give them awareness of the real world.
Can you please remember to bring in your child’s daily book every day. Please don’t forget your ‘wow’ stickers on what your child does on the weekend • Can we ask parents to please provide nappies and wipes when requested as we will not be able to accept the child into nursery without them, Thank You. News from Bunnies – Gemma, Layla (covering Gulcan maternity leave) Alia and Amy – Hi our topic this month is ‘mini beasts’. We will be looking at different bugs and insects, talking about where they live, what they eat, counting how many legs they have and the different colours they are. This will develop their number skills and make them aware of the environment around them. We will also develop their positional observation skills, by talking about over and under, Can we please remind parents to remember to sign their children in and out every day. We would like to welcome Diluni, Zainab, Deetya, Vibha, Tyler, Emily and Mayze to the room.
Your mission this month is to:- go hunting for bugs in your local area or in your back garden. Look under things and describe where you are looking, you can always take photos and bring them in!! Dates and notes: - we like to wish Aaliyah a Happy Birthday on 5th and Gemma on 18th.
News from Freedom Zone- Amy P and Holly, Viviana, Pauline and Danielle & Kulwinder, Hannah and Sam – Hi our topic this month is ‘mini beasts’; we will be planning lots of fun activities that will help develop their language and mathematical skills. This will include exploring the outside environment looking at the different types of bugs and insects we can find, in the park and in our outside area especially under the logs .Looking at their colours, how many legs they have and their different shapes and sizes.
Your mission this month is to:•

Take your child out into the garden or Park and look around for mini beasts under stones, logs in the grass. Talk about what you see and take photo’s if you can. It would be fantastic if you could use any junk/resources you have at home to make a butterfly, ladybird. Bumblebee or any mini beast so your child could bring them in to share at show and tell time with their friends.
