Harvard Park Pre-School Isleworth: March Newsletter 2018 News from the Managers, Nicki and Tracey and Deputy Manager, Amy It’s already March! Hello and welcome to Spring. The weather is still bitter so please make sure your child has a nice thick coat as well as a hat and gloves with them. We will always use our outside area so please wrap them up. We would like to wish Natalie a happy birthday for this month! We would like to wish all of you a Happy Saint Patricks day for the 17th, a happy Easter and a very happy and relaxed mother’s day for the 11th. Our Easter Fundraiser: We have posters up throughout the building so please make sure you read them. We will be holding a cake bake and selling our black hand print photo’s made especially for you by your child. You will need to inform us if you DO NOT wish to purchase one of these beautiful masterpieces. Please see the copy by the desk for an idea of what we will be making. The money raised will be used to purchase new equipment which is listed on the poster. The sale will be held on the week of 24th April. Labelling clothes and Potty Training: Please label their coat, school bag and any belongings they may have in there. If your child is in nappies or potty training, please make sure you are supplying enough changes of clothes and a sufficient amount on nappies, pull ups or wipes as we do not have many spares. If you feel your child is ready for potty training or we feel they may be ready, we will work together to make sure they are out of nappies for when they go to school! If your child is changed at pre-school and put in pre-school clothes, please make sure you are returning them to us. Thank you Pick-ups and Drop offs If you’re a requesting a 3:30pm pick up time, please call in advance if it is not a regular occurrence. If you are absent due to sickness or going on holiday, please call us or text us to let us know. Fruit and Vegetable donations: Thank you to those of you who are bringing things in every week! It is a great help and the children love tasting and trying different fruits and vegetables. Please remember to bring in some fruit and Vegetables every week for our children to have snack with. Some weeks we are running low and it is a great opportunity for the children to try a range of fruits and vegetables. The Shed in the garden: The shed in the garden opposite the pre-school is not our property. It is the schools and they have requested that you not put your buggies inside. We are not responsible for your buggies as it is not our property. Please take buggies home with you. 2 year Checks: Is your child 2 or 2 and a half years of age? If they are, it’s time for your 2 year old check with your health visitor. They are good for general check-ups, hearing tests and for you to voice any concerns you may have. Once you have them done, please bring in their red books so we can photocopy their 2 year old page. For us, they are a legal requirement so please help us and bring your red books in!
