If you have changed your contact details such as mobile numbers or have moved house, please come to the management desk and change the details we have so we can suitably contact you. As we transition onto our online EY log profiles, we ask you to be as patient as possible. We have set up our profiles, and are beginning to transfer all the data onto them. We will be linking you into your child’s profiles within the next two weeks. You will get an email saying EY log, this will ask you to set up a password of your choice and will then take you onto the profile pages. If you have more than one child with us in the setting, it is only one password and both profiles will be visible to you. You can also download the app which is for Apple and Android. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask us and we will try and help you as much as we can.

News from Natalie, Dee, Eva, Jeanna, Mandy, Lacey, and Amy: Thank you to those who have been bringing in fruit each week. Please ensure that it is sealed in its original packaging and it can as exotic as you like, but please avoid strawberries and pineapple as we do have some allergies to them. For the month of November we will be investigating the topic of ‘Keeping Safe’. We chose to do this topic at this time of year for several reasons. Firstly, Bonfire night is approaching and we look at staying safe around fire and sparklers; Secondly, it gets dark very early so we look at staying safe around roads and stranger danger; and thirdly we look at people who help us such as the fire and police services and how they can keep us safe. We also talk about how to stay safe at home, for example, not touching irons or straighteners if you see them out or on the floor. DO NOT let your children bring in sweets or chewing gum into the setting. We like to promote healthy eating and chewing gum is a choking hazard. Due to a change in weather please remember to dress your child appropriately for the weather as well as bringing in a thick winter coat, hat, gloves and scarf. These need to be labelled with your child’s name so they do not go missing or get mixed up with our spares. We do go outside in all weather and we occasionally go for a trip, therefore your child needs to feel as warm as possible. If you have any old magazines, phone books or multi-cultural food packing, before you throw it out could we have it for our home corner? We are developing that area to represent our homes a little bit more. Any form of contribution would be great. Mission of the month: - Head to your local park or around you area and help your child to identify hazards or dangers. For younger children, focus on how to stay safe nears roads and cars. Encourage them to draw pictures of what they find! Just a few notes to start off the month of November: If you have borrowed clothes from the pre-school please could you return them? We are running very low on girls trousers and if we have nothing to change your child into, we will have to ring you to come and pick them up from the setting. Same with wellington boots, if you have borrowed them please return them ASAP, thank you. Please make sure you have as sufficient amount of clothes so that we are able to change your child especially if they are potty training.  Remember to use the signing out board to sing your children in and out of the building, thank you. Also remember once you collect your child from their groups, they are your responsibility so DO NOT let them push the door handle to let themselves out. ADULTS ONLY!!!!!! We would like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Daniel, Lubainah and Malika. We hope you have a lovely day! If we have missed out anyone who has just started with us we are sorry and hope you have a lovely day too.
