Harvard Park Pre School Isleworth October Newsletter 2013. News from the Managers Nicki and Tracey – Please collect on time you will be charged £1.00 every minute past your pick up time!!!! This month our photographer will be in to take your child’s individual school photos (nice pressie for Christmas presents)!!! AM Children is on Monday 21st October – if not your day you can just pop in during the morning session between 9-00-10.30 just let Natalie know. PM Children is on Tuesday 22nd October - if not your day you can just pop in during the afternoon session between 1-00-3.00 just let Natalie know. Rani, Jeanna

Seema, Rosa and Laura-. Firstly we like to say welcome to the new parents and children who have started this month. This month we are focusing on ‘Getting to know you’ as this is our new topic. The children have been drawing picture of themselves, learning each other names and making new friends. We would like to ask parents to send in a photograph of your children or yourselves wearing your international costumes. We can then display them in our dressing up area. And if you have any spare disposable cameras at home we would love for you to bring it in so that the children can use it to take pictures for our ICT display board. Thank you to the parents who have already bought in their family photo, they do look really lovely in our new home area. Halloween Party (dress up) for the children will be 25th October – unfortunately if it is not your child’s day we cannot do any swaps – there will be throughout the year other celebrations for them to take part in.
The staff suggests that if you want your children to have breakfast they need to be in early as we do clear away for 9.00am. Children who are booked in for full days you will be given an invoice for half termly invoices to be paid at the beginning of each half term. Last term registration cards were not being used as they should have been!!! – once your child has settled it is a case of your child finding their registration card and you dropping at the door and the children putting their cards on their education boards – next term on your child’s return we will be quite strict on doing this once your child has settled back into Pre School after a long break. Parents/Carers who bring their children/child to school in a pushchair please could you fold it up and place it in the pushchair area as this is for health and safety. Last term it was lovely to see so many using scooters this term we would like the same response when the weather is good. This is so good for their physical development but we do understand for those of you who live a distance and have to cross busy roads. To avoid upset or confusion everything should be clearly labelled with your child’s name. Also remember once you collect your child from their groups they are your responsibility so DO NOT let them push the door handle to let themselves out. ADULTS ONLY!!!!!!
We would like to wish ‘Happy Birthday’ to Eliza, Ishan, Sophia, Maddison-Kay for this month. Please could parents/ carers bring in fruit so we can share it during our snack time. We have noticed that some parents are still parking next to parked cars outside the school gates please do not do this! PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING THE STAFF CAR PARK AT ANYTIME EVEN IF THE BARRIER IS UP/THEY DO HAVE CAMERAS AND HARVARD PARK DO GET INTO TROUBLE IF OUR PARENTS ARE SEEN DRIVING IN. THANK YOU Can parents please join our Facebook site as we are trialling our news letters on our new site to save our trees! We will of course print of a few copies to those parents who do not have access to a computer. We will also display a copy on our parents table.
